Porządki to czynność, za którą chyba niemal każdemu trudno jest się zabrać. 😵‍💫 Szczególnie, jeśli chodzi o te większe rewolucje w szafkach, szufladach i szafach z ubraniami. 🤦‍♀️ Ja przynajmniej tak właśnie mam. 😉 I chociaż tego typu porządki robię zazwyczaj tylko dwa razy do roku, to i tak przychodzi mi to z trudem. 😖 Jak już się jednak "wezmę", to nic nie jest w stanie mnie powstrzymać i wszystko muszę skończyć za jednym zamachem, 🧹🧺🪣🧼🫧🧽 choćbym miała przypłacić to zarwaną nocą i zakwasami w każdej części ciała na drugi dzień. 😅

Układanie ubrań "z głową" nie jest niestety moją mocną stroną. 😔 Gdy w moje łapki wpadła książka 📖 "The Folding Lady. Poskładaj się" uznałam, że chyba ktoś jednak nade mną czuwa i zesłał mi prawdziwy cud! 😇🤩 Jest to bowiem poradnik, w którym jego autorka, Sophie Liard, zawarła praktyczne rady oraz triki, jak w najbardziej optymalny sposób wykorzystać przestrzeń, w której mieszkamy. 🏠

Pierwsza część książki zawiera wiedzę o tym, jak poprawić swoje życie dzięki dostosowaniu przestrzeni wokół siebie do własnych potrzeb. 👍 W części drugiej autorka zdradza, jak efektywnie składać bieliznę, 👙 ubrania, 👔 pościel czy ręczniki oraz pokazuje, w jaki sposób organizować swoją przestrzeń. 👍Mamy więc tu samą praktykę, z której możemy czerpać garściami. 😍

A jeśli macie się na bakier z pakowaniem walizki na wyjazd 👜 (to moja zmora! 😖) czy pakowaniem prezentów 🎁 (to przyda się na nadchodzące święta! 🎄🎅), Sophie Liard przychodzi z pomocą. 😊

To be up front, a book about folding clothes is not within my must-read genres, just so you know. However, for some time my house has been in need of a clean-up and reorganization, and the book was attractively featured at the front entrance of my local library in early January as part of a "New Year, New You" book display, so I checked it out. I like the advice about doing your own thing, making your home space and life yours in a way that works for you, rather than simply recreating what you see on Pinterest or in a home décor magazine. The clothes folding tips actually do create more space in drawers! Next, I'll tackle my closet. My favorite chapter is about wrapping presents. After thinking I was a pro at present-wrapping, I gained new tips that I look forward to trying on birthday and holiday presents this year.

💪🏻THE FOLDING LADY💪🏻

Autorka kojarzyła mi się głównie z Instagrama, ale i z popularnego serwisu TikTok. Nie raz, zapisywałam sobie jej triki i sposoby na oszczędzanie przestrzeni, organizacje miejsca i czasu. Książka ta to tak naprawdę mini poradnik, dla tych którzy chcą się „odgracić” i zacząć mieć kontrolę nad swoim domem, ale nie tylko!

W książce znajdziemy sposoby na organizacje każdego pomieszczenia w swoim domu, ale i głowie.
Składanie ciuchów nigdy nie było tak proste! Zawsze marzyłam żeby ktoś mrok po kroku wytłumaczył mi jak składać w idealną, sklepową „kosteczkę”. Dzięki tej książce i praktycznym ilustracją, udało mi się rozwieść wszelkie wątpliwości.

Ciekawa i pomocna pozycja dla każdego! Polecam! ❤️

In the spirit of new year and a desperate need to declutter my flat, this seemed like the perfect read.

I love that the author is so passionate about what she does, that really shines through in the book.

There are some great tips in here about how to avoid over consumption and simply having too much stuff. Also some great folds for clothes and presents that I will defo try and put in to practice (but will probs be terrible at).

Definitely a great reference book for the future.

Original concept. How to fold items of clothing in order to make more space and make things look nicer. Like Marie Kondo only a British version. Handy tips. Worth a read. She's also on Tik Tok so if you're a visual person, like I am, you might want to check her out on that platform. But the book gives you an idea of how she came about being known as "The Folding Lady". So, again, worth a read.

First half of the book was a bit boring but second half was super helpful and I will definitely be going back to it when needed and when I move into my own place
