Left alone and homeless, she has accepted her father’s offer to stay with him in the Arizona territory and teach at the local school. The problem is she has no memory of her father, having been raised by her mother and taught that her father died when she was a baby. Hungry to know the truth of her past, she leaves Memphis behind and journeys alone to the mountainous region where she faces challenges she never could have anticipated.
The rugged living conditions and the isolation of the community are almost more than she can bear, but she is determined to prove she can do things “the Arizona way.” It doesn’t help that the handsome rancher, Levi Raines, seems to take a special delight in pointing out her weaknesses. It isn’t long, however, until her heart is woven into the lives of her students, their families, and especially Levi.

Aimee is a wonderful read! I couldn't put it down, once I started, and read it within 2 days! "Aimee" is the story of a young lady of breeding leaving all she knows and heading to the wild west of Arizona to live with a father she never knew, and the adventures she faces, along with the people she encounters, are priceless. I highly recommend "Aimee" and anything else written by Pam Watts Harris!

A well crafted story!
Aimee's story will draw you in. Her faith grows as does her determined spirit. I liked the setting and the well developed characters. The plot will keep you guessing!

An enjoyable read
A well described book of the time period. I also enjoyed reading about an area I know so well, having lived there on ranches most of my life.

Wonderful story about ranching in the Arizona territory. Aimee is a city girl, heading to meet her estranged father after her mother's death.
Her adventure includes cattle rustlers, wild animals, Indians, and possibly love. Will she be able to get her father to open up about his relationship with her mother?
Lots of twists in this story, I definitely recommend it!!
