Book 1: Ella and Logan “There must have been some happy times. You must have loved him at some point. I saw the pictures in there. It looks like the two of you had the perfect life together.” “Honestly, I don’t know if I’ve felt anything real since the day you left.”
In the same week my husband of twenty years hands me divorce papers, the one man who walked out of my life, and shattered my heart . . . shows back up.
Can I trust him again after he failed to come back for me like he promised? Or will he run again when he finds out my ex-husband . . . is his best friend?
Book 2: Mia and Ben He hasn’t been back here in almost ten years, and it’s been ten years since I’ve felt like a whole person. All these years, I’ve been walking around with half my heart, half my soul.
Ten years ago the love of my life walked out of this town and became a rockstar. I could never ask him to give up his dream but what I didn’t expect was to be forgotten in the process. Now he’s back, begging for a second chance. But it’s too little, too late.
Book 3: Harper and Rowan What are we doing, Rowan?” I breathe out. “If you ask me, we’re finally doing what we’ve always wanted.”
Is this what I’ve always wanted? The one man I’ve hated more than anyone? Or am I just falling prey to his charm like every other girl in this small town?
Book 4: Kaylee and Landon The fact that she’s still just as forbidden as before only makes me want her more. She’s mine and has always been mine. It’s time I remind her of that little fact.
Her brother warned me if I ever touched her he’d kill me, but what he doesn’t know can’t hurt . . . right?
Book 5: Gabi and Easton My whole life, I’ve wanted one thing: her. And now that she’s in my sights, in my home, working with me day in and day out, I’m going to get what I want, once and for all.
You’d think the moment I showed up to my new job and realized my boss is Easton Perez, the hot-as-sin bully from school who made my life hell I’d run… Instead, I ended up in his bed. *-*

This is a great collection of five stories! The author brings strong characters and weaves stories of second chance love. Each book has it's own hot couple with their own story to tell. She does a great job building the stories and paints her scenes perfectly ,moving the quickly and smoothly. They're well written and I enjoyed each story. Highly recommend.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Second chances five times around. Each story was different and good in there own way. Loves that we’re manipulated apart to enemies. Can people change from being dumb kids to responsible adults and try to make up for what happened when they were younger? What happens when your love goes to college and live gets in the way of you going then his best friend manipulates you both? The stories are good.

This book has 5 stand alone stories in it. Second Chance romances later in life. I loved all of the stories in this book. I really enjoyed Logan and Ella's the most. You will be sucked right into this book. The stories are told with both POV's, which I love being inside both the characters heads. It makes for a great read, where you feel like you don't miss anything.
This is such a great collection of some of Alexis Winter's greatest stories. I can always count on her to give me the steam and sweetness but also humor. I always finish her stories with a big smile on my face and this was no exception.
I love the fact that when you finished with one story, you don't need to find another to read because this is a series! I also love the fact that the stories were not drawn out- they were concise and easy to follow. Guaranteed HEA in each story and a lovely read!
Alexis Winter offers five delightful short, sweet romances that explore familiar romance tropes—second chance loves, enemies to friends, and brother’s best friend. Each romance is a happy-ever-after-ending. The collection is a delightful collection of love.
Ella and Logan’s Story—Young Love Flummoxed by Fate and Sabotaged by a Friend
After high school graduation, the plan was for Ella and Logan to leave their small town of Herrin, Illinois and to depart for college together. And, they anticipated to return four years later to work—Logan with his dad’s construction company and Ella at her mom’s flower and plant store. But plans change. Over the summer, when El’s mom got sick the loving daughter realized that she couldn’t leave her mom—not right then. So, when Logan left his broken-hearted Ella, he assured her that the separation was only temporary—that she would join him at college in another year. And, Logan assured her that she would not be alone, even if he weren’t present. He would get his best friend Tom West to check on her. And so, Logan left, and for the first couple of months, all was well with the young lovers staying in contact. But something happened during the third month and all communication broke down. Finally, Tom told her that Logan had “moved on,” and so should she. Tom always promised that he would be the one to protect her going forward.
Now, twenty-two years later, Ella and Tom West are anticipating their 18-year-old daughter Erin’s high school graduation. Filled with memories of her own graduation and her lost love Logan, she is stunned by Logan’s return to Herrin and Tom’s announcement that he is filing for a divorce. Fate has once more gob smacked Ella spinning her world around.
Mia and Ben’s Story—Giving Love a Reprise
During high school, lead singer and guitar player, Ben Foster first gazed at the ocean-blue eyes and raven hair of beautiful, sweet Mia while playing on a make-shift stage in someone’s living room with his bandmates, Mike and Quinn. And, over the next 2 years of high school the young sweethearts became lovers, inseparable and committed, until as seniors, Ben and the guys were noticed and offered a contract to record and to tour. And while the thoughts of Ben leaving broke junior Mia’s heart, she encouraged him to accept the offer—it was his dream, just as hers was to eventually go to college and to teach. But, they promised to stay in touch with calls and texts until they didn’t. Ben felt that he couldn’t hold on to Mia from a distance and Mia knew that she could not follow her dream and follow Ben. And so they just stop communicating. But Ben still expresses his longing and love for Mia in words and music he composes—but Mia has stopped listening to the radio—it breaks her heart to hear his voice.
Now, 10 years later, Mia is a college graduate and kindergarten teacher who is still in love with her high school crush who, with his band, are musical superstars. And, after years of absence, the boys are coming home—back to where they were first discovered at Gordy’s Bar. And now, as adults who have achieved their professional goals, it is time to address their personal goals.
Harper and Rowan’s Story—Being True to the Heart
Harper Mitchell had known Rowan Wilson her whole life. It would be almost impossible to hail from their little farm community and not to know everyone—especially since the two grew up on tangent farms and graduated from the same high the in the same class.
But knowing a person and liking that person is not necessarily guaranteed. And, it would not be an exaggeration to say that Harper and Rowan did not like each other. There seemed to be deep and intense dislike between the two neighbors and classmates. Harper’s intelligence won her a place at Yale and the whole community honored one of their own succeeding with a town parade with floats and a band —except for Rowan who set the float on which Harper rode on fire providing a flaming send off for the favored town daughter.
Now, 4 years after her fiery send off, Harper is back ready to help her dad whose health has been in decline. And once more the antagonists are reunited. And it is time for the truth—the truth that Rowan does not torment Harper out of hatred or the desire for payback—he torments her because he wants her. Since Harper left, he has come to realize that being the hot jock doesn’t get you a job or a chance. And he knows that to have a chance with Harper, he must work to win her heart and trust.
Kaylee and Landon’s Story—Young Love Grows Up
Beautiful blonde-haired, brown-eyed Kaylee Cash is very close to her older brother Kyle—they are twins. Both live in the city, and share creative visions—Kaylee as a designer and Kyle as an architect. And they share something else—they both share a long-term relationship with the same man—Landon Styles—best friend of Kyle and secret lover of Kaylee. The trio have been friends and, at later frienemies, since they were 5 years old.
Now, at age 30, the trio have all separately come back to the city of their child and young adulthood as professionals. And by chance, life reunites Kaylee and Landon who once more experience the sparks of the love they explored as high school secret lovers. But the same force still has the potential of separating the friends who have again become lovers—brother and best friend, Kyle. Before Kaylee and Landon can sort out their relationship, Kaylee must reunite the former friendship of her brother and his former best friend and her secret lover.
Gabbi and Easton’s Story—Misunderstood Emotions
Gabbi Jones and Easton Perez first met at age 5 in kindergarten. As a 5-year-old, Easton was so struck by the breathtaking beauty of the blue-eyed, blonde-haired new girl, Gabriele, that he did what any 5-year-old befuddled by an unknown and confusing emotion—love—would do—he spit at her—blaming her for his confusing and never-before experienced emotional response. And with age, while Easton came to finally identify his overwhelming emotional response to Gabbi as love, that knowledge came too late to manage the damage that resulted from his aggressive responses that continued through the years. And unfortunately, the “popular kid,” and star athlete, Easton’s hurtful response to Gabbi allowed her to declare definitively that he single-handedly ruined her life in high school as she dealt with the loneliness, insults and rejection generated by his high school followers. Even the mention of Easton Perez’s name filled her with an emotional response—all negative.
Now, 12 years later, Easton has relocated to California and has achieved success and acclaim in Hollywood. During college years his life took a turn of direction when he supplemented his finances with modeling gigs. Over time those gigs led to acting opportunities, and now as a current A-list actor, life trajectory and his finances have changed forever. And with the demands on his time, he needs an assistant, and when he sees a familiar name on the list of possible assistants, he insists that the employment agency send Gabriel Jones to fill the position.
And, beautiful Gabbi also had followed the call of acting to Hollywood. However, her reception was not met with the same success experienced by her high school nemesis. And overtime, her gigs as a temp worker soon outnumbered her appointments for script reads and talent calls. So, while she often worked for members of the screen industry, the jobs were never in front of the camera.
The stories in this collection was a joy to read. Each book is not long at all, but not too short either - a wonderful collection of comfortable length stories with great writing. I loved that each story got better as I went along in the collection. My normal process of reading collections or series books is that I have to give so much thought to what and who I liked better as I'm finishing my reading. This collection was very easy for me...they were all good, but each story and each couple got better one after the other.
Ella and Logan started the collection off and their story was the most heartfelt and emotionally charged story based on how their lives connected when they were kids. The writing of their feelings and thoughts about each other and their lives separate from each other is so good. Logan is a man who is Just That Guy. The one you know you will never meet, but can deal with wishing for someone like him in your life for a little while - or for a couple of days - after the story ends. Ella is extremely likeable and will become your friend;) She was so clear and real about her feelings and if you are an intense reader, you would pull the rawness of it from the words. This story really pulls at your heartstrings because a bit of time is spent feeling badly and a little sorry for both Ella and Logan; mainly because of how things turned out for them and some people in the story are worthless. They were the perfect start to the collection as an older couple with relatable life happenings and challenges.
Mia and Ben are next in the collection and this was one of the fun and let loose - on a conservative level - couples who made their life choices about each other strictly out of love for each other. The reconnection was great and would be fun to watch - make a good movie! These two considered the possibility of resentment damaging their relationship if they did not make the decisions they made when they were a younger couple. The ease of sharing their feelings and thoughts with each other was written so well and the way their HEA culminated was wonderful.
Harper and Rowan comes next and this is the other fun and let loose couple, just not on a conservative level! These two are full of personality and are very open with what they do and what they say. The story of their relationship as classmates was filled with jokes and pranks against each other; and now resumes with Rowan admitting he was not very nice. Looking back at the past while reconnecting in a more mature space is a great read with good writing detailing how they each feel about each other. It was really funny as the two of them interacted with their friends from high school/town, who were great additional characters to the story.
Kaylee and Landon are the extreme! I don't think I can describe this story and what it means or even a little of what happens without spoiling it. I can say that Kaylee has a twin brother who does not like Landon, at all. The story of these two is not as "romantically" generated in the beginning like the other stories, but Kaylee and Landon are a lot of fun. Its nice, in a sense, to read about a woman who isn't afraid to request the company of a guy and make it clear that she likes and wants what he has to offer. It becomes clear that feelings are real as the story moves on but the beginning of their reconnection was very interesting. The way they interacted as friends and schoolmates has a bit of a "wow" factor, but its a good story; and, Kaylee and Landon are those friends you have that never bring boredom to your house!
Gabbi and Easton had a somewhat tumultuous beginning as young schoolmates, and it takes these two a lot longer to reconnect than the other couples in this collection. It is a great story to read as trust is built by Easton to develop a better relationship with Gabbi. She is probably my favorite of the ladies in the collection, although, as I recall the other stories as I write, I change my mind. This is a really well-written story and I tried writing a more indepth review, but I'm not doing well with writing a "no spoilers" review. But I will say that after a unforeseen break-up, Gabbi finds herself working with Easton about a week later. Easton plays a part in making this "work" relationship happen and its nice to read how he works hard to change the way Gabbi feels about their past.
I have to say that this was such a fun and enjoyable set of stories to read. I love Alexis Winter books and stories and this one was just something I needed right now. That’s always how it happens when I grab her stuff. Each story is comfortable in length, gets right to the point, and develops the characters for you quickly, but with substance. The story of the characters is set up to flow in a reasonable fashion so that you feel as if you know them and can relate to the story even though it’s not long and drawn out. Great and fun and lovely….so worth reading.

I received this ebook ARC from the author, on the condition that I write an honest review. Ella and Logan had been lovers in their teens, but this all fell apart when he left to go to college. The intervention of lies that Logan’s best friend told both Ella and Logan, led to their twenty year separation. Logan returns to his home town to repair his old family home. He runs into Ella, and they slowly begin a renewed relationship, especially since Ella is going thru a divorce. They both realize that their love for each other is still there. The lies that they were told are revealed, and they become even closer. They obtain their HEA, and the story ends in a life of happiness for the couple. Mia and Ben had known each other as teens, and had dated exclusively with each other. He leaves to follow his dream of rock stardom. Misinformation is said to both of them by a friend, and Ben never returns to Mia. Ten years later, Ben and the band are back in town, where he finally reunites with Mia. Confessions are exchanged and their relationship is restarted. Complications occur because of the bands touring schedule, but this time their love is stronger. Eventually they reach their HEA, and great surprises await their future life. Harper and Rowan were high school nemesis to each other. They had done pranks against each other through out their high school life. She left to go off to college at Yale. She returns and runs into Rowan and they still feel aggressive towards each other, but this soon develops into feelings of love. A hidden relationship between Rowan and Harper begins to heat up. Harper’s father has a medical emergency and financial situations are discovered. The whole town comes together to help them out. The epilogue was a beautiful ending to this story. Kaylee and Landon had known each other since childhood. He was Kaylee’s bothers best friend. They had a relationship when in their teens but life interrupted them. They meet again as adults and realize that the initial attraction is still there. They begin a relationship again, but hide it from Kaylee’s brother. They attempt to tell her family about their love, but her brother gets mad, and storms out. Eventually all things are explained and settled, and the couple finely reaches their HEA, with a heartfelt epilogue. Gabbi and Easton had known each other since elementary school. He had fallen in love with her, at first site, but being immature caused her to dislike him for the rest of their school years. He thoughts were, that if he couldn’t have her, he would force others not to want her. Years later he hires her for his assistant position, but he really uses this as a cover up to get close to her. Gabbi finds herself homeless and accepts his job offer. There is immediate attraction that eventually develops into a relationship. Due to her insecurities, she runs off, but soon realizes that their love is the strength that she needs. She returns to Easton and they obtain their HEA, with a romantic epilogue. I’ve read several books written by Alexis Winter, and I always recommend them, because of the romance theme, the great characters, and a romantic story.
Never Too Late is 5 second chance romance stories by Alexis Winter all wrapped up together in one book. Each of the stories are told from dual POV and feature a different; Ella and Logan, Mia and Ben, Harper and Rowan, Kaylee and Landon, and finally Gabbi and Easton. These stories are not interconnected and are complete stand alones that conclude with a HEA.
Never Too Late is all about that second chance- whether it is with their first love, the one that got away or a misunderstood enemies to lovers situation- each of the five couples featured in this book, have reconnected with someone in their past and creating a new future together. One of the things I love about this collection is that each book isn't overwhelmingly long. It's more like 5 short stories or novellas rather than full length books- but I feel like that it works well for these stories. With each book only being about 15-18 chapters long, you can easily read the entirety of one couples story at a time and then move on to the next couple later. Besides all being second chance stories, really the only other similarity in the stories is that all of the characters either met in childhood or were high school sweethearts. Their occupations, circumstances for distance, time apart and ease of reconnection all differ between each couple. With the length of each book the stories do tend to move a little on the quick side, which at times can make the relationship feel like it is just a story. But with that being said each story is engaging to where I couldn't stop reading until I finished and the connection between the characters is great- whether it's their banter, their kindness/caring for each other or the steam they produce in the bedroom. I think that my favorite couple was either Harper and Rowan or Kaylee and Landon- just something about the ease of those and their banter/relationship just made me smile the most. I love how Rowan and Harper were enemies in school but it was all mostly based around them pranking each other- then to see how Rowan steps up for Harper and really does what he can to respect her wishes while uplifting her made my heart happy. Kaylee and Landon had the fun brother's best friend situation going on- they were just fun and entertaining. My least favorite couple was probably Gabbi and Easton- while Easton was sweet, caring and swoony in his own way he also didn't seem to listen or respect Gabbi's wishes when she wasn't interested in a relationship other than physically or asked for space when she was overwhelmed, so he felt a little too dominating in his wants- so while I still enjoyed their story and loved their ending it just wasn't my favorite. The other two couples- Ella and Logan and Mia and Ben- I really enjoyed their stories but they also kind of frustrated me with their backstories a little, but they were both unique and I was still captivated by them. Overall, Alexis put together a great collection of couples all finding their second chance with the love of their lives.
"Never Too Late" is a collection of stories that prove it is never too late to be with the the one you love. The first book is about Ella and Logan who were high school sweethearts. It begins on a sad note but ends up on a happy one with a bit of karma thrown into the mix. I loved this couple and wish they hadn't been cheated out of 22 years together.
Book two is Mia and Ben's story. They were also high school sweethearts but when Mia was 18, his rock band had a chance to hit it big. She told him to pursue his dreams even knowing it was break her heart. Fast forward ten years and his band came back to town for an anniversary show which allows them a second chance at love. There were some really sweet moments in this one and a few that made me laugh.
Book three tells Harper and Rowan's story. High school for them was a series of pranks. He was like a little boy who picks on the girl he likes but they each gave as good as they got it. When she returns after graduating from Yale, he makes his move. They were an extremely likable couple and Rowan went above and beyond to make her life easier. One line from the story was that it takes the right woman to grow up and that is what Rowan did.
I didn't like Kaylee and Ryan's book as well. Kyle was really insecure and Kaylee and Ryan hid their relationship from him for way too long. There were some sweet and tender moments in the book and there was a part when they were seven that reminded me of the Princess Bride.
Gabbi and Easton knew each other from the time they were five. They got off on the wrong foot in kindergarten and Easton made her high school years a living hell. If he couldn't have her he didn't want anyone to have her. When they meet up several years later he wants to make her his. She gave in to his charms quicker than I would have liked and I would have preferred if she wasn't so insecure. I didn't like that Easton had bullied her but when they meet up again, he shows her how much he loves her.
The set as a whole was a good read and well worth the purchase price.
Book 1 - Ella and Logan were childhood sweethearts who due to circumstances never got to go to college together as planned. Twenty-two years later Ella and Logan reconnect when he returns to his home town to renovate his old home. Their passion reignites and they finally live out the plans they made in their teens. Book 2 - Mia and Ben together in school and separated when Ben left with his band. Ten years on he returns for a concert to his home town and reconnects with Mia who has become a teacher. During her summer break she spends time with Ben and the band. As their love intensifies they work out how to spend their future life together. Book 3 - Harper and Rowan were enemies in school. Harper left to go off to college and when she returns and runs into Rowan their feelings change. Passion flares between them but circumstances complicate things for them. Help comes from people in their town. Book 4 - Kaylee and Landon, her brother’s best friend, knew each other when they were growing up. They got together in their teens but part for various reasons. They reunite later and their relationship reignites again. Kaylee’s brother, throws a spanner in the works but eventually love conquers all adversity. Book 5 - Gabbi and Easton having known each other since being small children have a long standing connection. Easton has always loved her and thwarted any attempts for any other boy/man to get close to her. When Gabbi finds herself homeless Easton gives her a job as his assistant. Their hot chemistry soon develops into a hot and steamy relationship which makes Gabbi wary but she cannot stay away. Each story has an epilogue leaving an extremely satisfying conclusion to each story. Read an ARC for an honest review.
Great group of five novelettes about couples having their second chance Just a wee bit of angst but lots of passion and steam. Loved these stories… Ella & Logan’s Story: This was my favorite. Ella is 40yo, owns/runs her flower shop as her mother did before her. Fell in love with Logan but circumstances kept them apart until he returns to town 22 years later. There will be people you will love to hate.
Mia & Ben’s Story: Not my favorite but I’m not much of a rock band reader. Mia is a Kindergarten teacher but the love of her life went off ten years before and became famous. Now he’s back for one night. Can they get back that “lovin’ feeling?”
Harper & Rowan’s Story: Another favorite. After graduating from Yale University, Harper has come home to her family’s farm. She and Rowan have spent most of their lives pranking each other. What Harper doesn’t know is that Rowan does it because he’s loved her that long. She does it out of revenge. Right?
Kaylee & Landon’s Story: Kaylee is the wild bratty child in her family. Her over-protective brother and twin is Kyle. Their best friend is Landon who has loved Kaylee since they were children. Love their 7yo pretend wedding, only to be overshadowed by the real one twenty years later!
Gabbi & Easton’s Story: Gabbi Jones has just been dumped by her boyfriend and co-signer of their new apartment, leaving her holding the lease! What a jerk. She gets a new assignment as an Assistant to none other than Easton Perez her high school tormentor and nemesis. He’s repentant but she’s still angry over her treatment. Will it work? I truly enjoyed this bundle. If you like second chances and the guys who will do anything to get his woman back, read this book. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book.
Never Too Late is a collection of five stories where the characters are giving a second chance at love and their HEA!
•Logan & Ella 20 years were stolen from them, but once they paths crossed again it was like no time has passed between them!
•Ben & Mia OMG!!! All I kept thinking was that Mia should have made Ben sweat a bit longer, after all he was gone for ten years! But it was a sweet story and I really loved their HEA!
•Rowan & Harper I really enjoyed this story. Rowan and Harper have been frenemies since High School! Harper left for college but is back now and the heat and sparks between them has changed, or probably had been there all along! Their HEA had me laughing.
•Landon & Kaylee A brother’s best friend story. After ten years Landon and Kaylee’s path crossed again and sparks reignited! This time no matter what his friend says, Landon is going after Kaylee.
•Easton & Gabbi I think this is my favorite story of them all! Don’t get me wrong, I loved them all but Easton and Gabbi........ just WOW!!! They met when they were only five years old, how cute is that? But Gabbi has disliked Easton ever since. Easton made her life miserable in High School but it was time for him to redeem himself and win Gabbi over to finally have their HEA!!

Never Too Late features five all new second chance romance stories from Alexis Winter. One thing I loved about this set is all the stories feature characters who are older. It's not just a couple years, we have year old's who finally get their shot at finding happiness. All 5 stories are unique even though they share the similar theme of being people who knew one another when they were younger and meet up again in their later years after already having a bundle of life experiences, be it going through a failed marriage, living a Rockstar life or throwing yourself into your career. The struggles of the characters are individualized to the story and you'll come to care for them all and be sad to say goodbye.
My favorite couple would have to be Harper and Rowan, there's just something about the tension of an enemies to lovers story that never fails to captivate me. The added family drama made it a more emotional tale, which I loved. Even though I had a clear fav, all the couples were wonderful. If you've read any other Alexis Winter stories you should know she's right in her wheelhouse and you can expect to be left with a smile on your face.

Never Too Late is made up of 5 romance stories. They are all second chance romance stories and each story is a standalone. Each story is told from dual POVs and concludes with a HEA. The 5 stories in this book features 5 different couples. Story 1 is Ella and Logan were childhood sweethearts and misunderstandings happen meaning they don't reconnect until many years later. Story 2 is Mia and Ben, they were also childhood sweethearts but Ben leaves to pursue his dream career (a rockstar). Harper and Rowan is story 3 and is an enemies to lovers story. Story 4 is Kaylee and Landon, it is a brothers best friend story. Gabbi and Easton are story 5 and these two met at school, he loved her but she didn't love him. I loved this collection of second chance stories. Even though each story has the similar theme of second chance each story is different. My favorite couples was Harper and Rowan and Kaylee and Landon. I love the chemistry between Kaylee and Landon. I also love how fiesty Harper was, she gave as good as she got. A fantastic collection of stories.

Five short stories about getting a second chance with their first love that for some reason they lost touch with through the years. Ella and Logan's story has a 22-year lapse but got back together. Mia and Ben's story is different. She let him go ten years ago so he could try to be a rock star and she didn't want to hold him back. These two really deserved a second chance. Harper and Rowan's story is really interesting. Rowan made her life difficult all through high school. It is my favorite. Kaylee and Landon's tale is next. They were lovers in high school. There was a ten year gap in their history. Once back in the same town the sparks flew. Gabbi and Easton's second chance is exciting. He made her life miserable all through high school. Easton hired her to be his assistant because he has been in love with her since Kindergarten. He wanted to convince her and prove to her he was the one for her.

I love this book! It was a great collection of second chance romance that hits everyone’s interests. I usually don’t enjoy bully romances but I really liked the one in this book. It was funny and cute and both characters have as well as they got. I appreciated that even though she was bullied, she gave it right back. It made it very entertaining and fun to read. The brothers best friend book was fun and unique seeing s they weren’t friends anymore at the beginning of the book. It offered a nice twist on the usual trope. Plus the characters were fun and intriguing. The rockstar romance was cute and a really good read!
This book was a great collection of cute and quick romance that hit a nice range of tropes to get everyone interested and involved.

This was such a great second chance romance set! All the books were quite different so I didn’t feel like I was reading the same story over and over! I loved all the books in this set, but Harper and Rowan’s story is hands down my absolute favorite! It was an enemies-to-lovers second chance story which I loved! This story gave me the feels for days! Even after I was done and moved on to the last stories in the set and even onto other books altogether, I couldn’t get them out of my head! That’s how perfect it was! Again, all the others were great! I loved Ella & Logan’s shot at a second chance, especially since they were in their forties! Not every story needs to be about twenty somethings.

Each novella is a wonderful read! Each story contains 2 young people who fall in love with the other but are separated by following different paths for a length of time. Years later, they are meeting each other again, realizing their first crush back then is much stronger now. Even with the gap of years apart hasn't snuffed out their burning love for the other person. Having each novella in different scenarios is refreshing & the only thing that is repetitious is the HEA which is a good thing to have in romance novels. Well-worth reading a variety of stories in this box set!

Never Too Late By Alexis Winter Main Characters: Ella and Logan, Mia and Ben, Harper and Rowan, Kaylee and Landon, Gabbi and Easton. I voluntarily and honestly reviewed this book without bias or persuasion from the author. 5 out of 5 stars Five books in this second chance collection. Each story had wonderful characters. Logan and Ella's 2nd chance came after 20 years. Ben and Mia had 10 years for their second chance. My favorite story was Easton and Gabbi. Easton loved Gabbi since they were 5 years old and Gabbi disliked Easton all that time. This book is money well spent. Loved all the HEA endings.

I absolutely loved the first book, Ella and Logan’s story. A nice second chance love story with a a happy ending. Characters were a little order and I really liked it. In Mia and Ben’s story, they find each other after 10 years. Lots of tears for me in this book. But of course a happily ever after. In Harper and Rowan's story, he is her senior year bully but she gives as good as she gets. Loves this one! In Kaylee and Landon's story, her brother has been in the way of their romance since they were 7 years old. Great story - loved the chemistry between them.

Never Too Late by Alexis Winter is a wonderful collection of second chance, short stories. The collection is comprised of five stories and even though they are short stories the plot isn't lacking. The individual stories are all different enough that I didn't feel like I was reading the same story over and over again. The characters are well developed and likeable. The chemistry between the heros and heroines is palpable. I was holding my breathe wanting their second chances to work. I enjoyed each story and recommend the book.
I really loved reading Never Too Late: A Complete Contemporary Romance Second Chance Collection by Alexis Winter because it included 5 different stories of a second chance. There were bullies, rock stars, the one that got away in high school and brother's best friend. I loved each story because it was very steamy between the characters. I fell in love with the stories and the couples. I love second chance romances and this book definitely has all the swoon that goes with second chances. I would highly recommend reading this book because you get 5 different stories about getting that second chance!!

Second chances romances at their best! Ms. Winter has done an excellent job with all five stories about five couples where each couple had known each other in high school. The relationships ranged from high school sweethearts to arch enemies. When each couple came together in later years they had the opportunity to find the love each had been waiting for. (My explanation may not be clear; however, the stories are absolutely delightful and well worth the read!!!!! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. In addition, I purchased a copy for my collection.
This 5 book collection is all about second chances. It tells the story of five different couples who for varying reasons missed out on their first chance at love together. Now circumstances have changed and a second chance might just be possible. Each story has both some sweet and some steam along with some great characters. I think my favorite couple was from book 2, Ben and Mia. He left their small hometown in search of fame with his band. He found fame but never found happiness without Mia. Their story is really good and I loved their HEA!!

This selection of five second chances at love will have you swooning and rooting for it to all come right in the end. Each story comes with a different premise but it's how the author draws you in that makes these stories so special. There is plenty of steam (would expect nothing less from Alexis Winter) but they are so much more than that. Told from the point of view of both parties in the relationship, there are standalone stories and how they end up? Well , you'll just have to read and find out for yourself.
I received this as an ARC from the author, in return for posting an honest review
The first couple, Ella and Logan, the oldest in this box set left me feeling more peaceful than other romances by Alexis Winter and thought I was in for a relaxing read with the others. I must admit I went to check on other reviews I wrote on books from this author as I was sure this couldn't be right. How wrong I was. The more I read of the other couples, the more the heat rose reaching a runaway inferno with Gabbi and Easton. The more I read from this author the deeper I fall in love with her characters.
This book contains five different standalone stories. A second chance at love and it's all well written and each has beautiful, wonderful characters. Ella and Logan are high school sweethearts but lost contact through manipulation of a close friend. 20years later, they met and rekindled their love story. Mia and Ben( the rockstar) are also high school sweethearts too. Ben left to pursue his career and became a superstar but he never forget his soul mate, they reunited after 10years and lived happily ever after too. Harper and Rowan's story is funny, he loves her and vice versa but both couldn't get together until Harper came back from college. Glad they also got their HEA. Kaylee, her twin brother and Landon grew up together and are childhood sweethearts, they parted ways and reconnected again after 10years and pick up where they left off Gabbi and Easton hated each other from day one , Easton is not happy that he couldn't get the only one person he wanted, but faith brought them back together and the rest is history too, they also got their HEA. I recommend this boxset. Its indeed never too late. I received an ARC for my honest review
