I've read all 11 so far & I've just kept to myself about this, but it's time, I think. The editor should probably change. Weird mistakes keep falling through the cracks. But Much More than that ..the word "however" should be completely dropped. THAT is what has made me put these books down for a while at a time, Many times after the 11 I've read. I Loooove the storyline, That has been what has kept me sane w these. I LOVE em all!..A Lot! It just really hurts my eyes & brain since those are what i need to use to "tetris" the sentence around to make actual sense. Just an easy erase here, a little "but" there. As I said, I Really, really love these, I just hate having to do the obvious action that someone else can do for the readers. I hope no offense is taken here because they are truly great books in my opinion, it just seems a simple change could be done in future books. TYSM for hooking me on this series💕💕
What with the mountain crushed and the portal covered with debris, Cherisse and the cult elves are virtually without any place to stay. But Aella can be trusted to assist. But what Aella did not expect was the rise of attacks on the Texas portal. It is also clear that something more need to be done than just defending the remaining portal The breakthrough came when Aella learns there are indeed elven on the other side of the portal and who are in dire straits, needing help urgently. And she discovers there are indeed quite a number of more hidden portals. But find to one! And to indeed help the suffering of the elves on the alternate reality and world! Thus this reader got bogged down once more in a whole new action driven adventure in this series. Enjoy
I am very happy with the way this series is turning out! I love how everything is coming together and as the challenges arise, our protagonists rise to meet them... But not in quite the straightforward manner which you might expect. Lots of plot twists and turns that keep the action moving at a fast pace, making you want to read faster to keep up! Great job Jess!
Another fantastic book. This series just gets better and better. Aella and her Mysticals must continue to fight to save the world. This time she goes through a portal and rescues other Elves and Mysticals. Another portal is opened and now she must go up against what has come out on the other side.
What an adventure. I highly recommend this kick@$$ book, and the magical series in which it is, to readers who love reading fascinating Urban Fantasy. Enjoy!
