i don't like it. sorry. maybe i was looking forward to it too much. the mating scene is one i've read so many times in the original that i can already recite Rhys's story by heart. That's the one that always makes me cry and always makes my day. Now here the narration is just cut away.... WHY??? i don't understand and i don't want to understand. the smut is not a good thing then as well, i was so hoping to feel the heat, to hear how emotional the whole thing is for Rhys. that was half arsed for me. i also don't know how to rate this, the parts before were so wonderfully perfect, but this one just ruins it now. going to cry a bit 😭😩😪🤧
A fic from Rhys's POV is the most wholesome but heart wrenching thing in the universe. Feyre was right Amarantha didnt suffer enough. When we read ACOMAF from Feyre's perspective we know Rhys had it bad but we don't truly understand the intensity of the horrors he suffered for fifty long years until we see it from his POV. It was actually painful reading the chapters after under the mountain from his pov, because he knows she's his mate and he can see that she's getting married to Tamlin and he knows he can't do anything about it. Don't even get me started on his inner turmoil, the fact that he did so much and still thinks it wasn't enough or thet Fey hates him 😭. Tnings like the court of nightmares scene or the starfall scene were beautiful to read from his perspective. I love how we get an insight to his interactions with Cas and Az and his discussions with the inner circle when Feyre is not around. This book had me sobbing so hard. Would definitly recomend to everyone who enjoyed ACOMAF.

All of the parts of this fanfic follows along as if SJM had written them. Ye there were some errors throughout but those would have been picked up in editing tbh. Overall really enjoyed this whole fanfic and i’d give it a 3.75 overall!!
I loved SJM's acotar series.. and it's one of my alltime favorite book series and I was happy and satisfied when I finished ACOSF. But reading ACOMAF / A Court of Mist and Fury from Rhys' POV was everything I hoped it would be, and so much more!!! It was so good! It was raw, dark, and painful. And reading chapter 55 from his POV was 10x more satisfying!!! 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵😂😍 OMG! 🌶️🌶️🌶️
This book was one I didn't know I needed until I started it. 💖 Rhysand is truly perfect!!!! 💕 and my Ultimate Book Boyfriend. 💯 Lol! This fan-fic was written well and really amazing. God! I miss the nightcourt gang 😭😂
I liked the books, but I was expecting...more. I was really looking forward to chapter 54 and it was a letdown... I also thought that we might get to catch a glimpse of the wedding too but nope. And I didn't like the fact, that the ending was cut short, I would've very much liked to read Rhy's thoughts while the king undoes the bond. Nevertheless it was a good experience, and it kept me a little bit longer in the acotar world, so I am grateful it exists:)
"You love me?" I knew what my mate had decided. I nodded and Feyre set the bowl in front of me along with a spoon. Her voice was raw when she spoke. “Then eat” And so I did.
the parts before were BEAUTIFUL but this? this felt rushed. i was looking forward to reading the mating scene but i didn’t enjoy it as i hoped.. 😕 overall i loved this fanfic so so much!! i might come back soon ahahah
This fanfiction (all 5 parts) was highly recommended to me as a way to return to these beloved characters & this beloved book… and it felt so authentic. I savored every moment from Rhysand’s POV & it made me hope we might actually get this book from SJM one day. Until then, job well done. I’m sure I’ll read this again!
The writer did a wonderful job of adding additional scenes in. Especially conversations within the inner circle when Feyre was not around. Gave all of the characters more depth. Truly enjoyed each part!
I never thought I’d add a fanfiction lol but I felt like adding this because it’s basically the equivalent of rereading ACOMAF. Shame it ended where it did but it was still a pleasure reading from Rhys’ perspective. It ripped me apart lol
Loved! Only thing is I wish it had gone all the way through ACOMAF, not ended after they mate! I’d have loved to read Rhys’s pov through all of it & his pov when everything happened when they get to Hybern.

I loved hearing how contemplative Rhys was about the mating bond and his turmoil surrounding telling Feyre. It helped answer questions I had after reading the original series.
