Years ago, I was attracted to this author with her ability to write an amazing small-town romance. Over the years, she has immersed me in her worlds quickly. She has done the same here in Mason Creek, seamlessly pulling us into a bigger world with other authors. It is no secret I love what these authors have done and enjoy visiting Mason creek every couple of weeks. This book was a one afternoon read for me, as I did not put it down.
Carly and Kaden are a joy to read about from chapter one. Their meet-cute, to banter and chemistry. It got better as I realized their relations and how I loved their previous introductions to me in Mason Creek. His unwavering support and swoon worthy ways make him a great book boyfriend. Carly has a strong vision of her life and is stubborn to make it happen her way. Hard work does not phase her, until a night in a Denver bar, with nothing but first names. The resulting serendipity makes this a great read.

The addicting Mason Creek series is back and y'all, Molly McLain is ready to steal a piece of your heart after this beauty.
Perfect Chance is eighteenth standalone in this cozy small town and was packed to the brims with all the heart, heat, and so many feels. Kaden and Carly were quite the pair and they had quite the circumstance and y'all, I devoured their story.
I adore this town, it's citizens and all the romances we've gotten to follow so far. I cannot wait for the next in this series.
I completely recommend the ENTIRE Mason Creek series.

Having read Perfect Secret i was so happy when i found out about this book! I started looking forward to it right away. I was so glad to jump into another one of Ms.McLain’s books. I picked it up and got back into the Mason Creek world quickly. I so enjoyed this story!
Carly and Kaden’s journey grabbed my attention! These two share one night together and the sparks fly between them. As they’re brought back into each other’s lives in Mason Creek, I couldn’t wait to see how things would all play out. I was so glad that i got to dig into both of their minds. Carly and Kaden had me feeling so many things throughout! Their chemistry was so great!

One night was all it was supposed to be but then fate stepped in and gave these two the perfect chance. Kaden and Carly's story is one that wraps its way around you and has you cheering these two on at their second chance. The connection and chemistry between these two was electric and has you captivated by the storyline and the characters. I loved the way that their story was concentrated more on them than on the town keeping you enchanted by these two and their journey to forever. Carly has been fighting what was expected of her all her life and when she meets a handsome cowboy in a bar one fateful night he sees the real her. This is a story about taking chances, moving forward and falling in love.

Bravo Molly McLain, this book is phenomenal!!! In my honest opinion Ms. McLain is one of the best “Small Town Romance” genre authors out there, and Perfect Chance is proof of that.
Perfect Chance is the Book 18 in the Mason Creek series. Every book is a standalone, you do see people from the other books, but each is a full story in is self with no cliffhangers.
Perfect Chance is about Kaden McMurray and Carly Walsh. We first met Kaden McMurray in book 12, Perfect Secret, also by Ms. McLain. I was hoping that Kaden would get a story of his own, and when I heard that he would, I could not wait for it to hit my Kindle. I could not put this book down once I started it.
Carly Walsh has had enough of people trying to control her life, her mother, her now “ex” boyfriend. Carly did not want to be a part of “high society married to the football star”, she wanted to work for herself, not be a kept woman. So unbeknownst to her mother, Carly applied for a job in Mason Creek near some of her more grounded family members.
Chapter one starts the night of graduation when Carly and her bestie Savannah go out to celebrate. This is where she first meets Kaden, and they start talking. After a while, Carly realizes that Kaden understands her better after an hour than her ex did after years. Let’s just say this, at the end of the evening, she does not leave alone.
Kaden has been thinking about Carly for weeks, but stupidly, he didn’t get her number, let alone her last name. According to his friends “you’ve been walking around in a daze for weeks.” Kaden has started to realize he does not have a chance of finding her and tonight, maybe it is time to find someone else. “Hey, man, you wanna grab a beer at the Pony Up tonight?”
Carly hears the words “your pregnant” from her doctor six weeks later. She can’t believe it, she’s on the pill, they used condoms…. what were the chances? She needs to tell Kaden. The problem… she does not have his number, let alone his last name. Resigned to the fact that she is probably not going to be able to find Kaden and tell him about the baby, she goes to Mason Creek, Montana. Carly plans to meet up with her cousin Alana at the Pony Up in Mason Creek.

This was such a nice, relaxing, easy read for me. I loved the characters, the background… I NEED TO GO TO MONTANA!! I LOVED the story. I loved the way Kaden was there for Carly, lifting her up, without taking over. I want a “Kaden” for myself.
This series is especially special because it is being written by a total of 13 different authors about different residents in Mason Creek. Each and every book is a standalone, so you can start anywhere in the series.
I was gifted with a copy of this book for my reading enjoyment, my absolute LOVE of reading romance, and for my opinions and thoughts of the book. I loved Kaden and Carly! I love reading about more of the McMurray family! Kaden is Holden’s brother and we find out that Carly has connections to Mason Creek as well. From the start I was sucked into this story and so invested in these characters. Kaden and Carly had that instant chemistry that just jumps out of the page. There was some family drama and some unexpected events but for the most part this was a pretty light hearted read and a wonderful addition to the Mason Creek series!

This story has it all: a fun meet-cute, an annoying ex, an unexpected pregnancy, wild sexual chemistry, swoony cowboys, strong females and a small town setting you will fall completely in love with. Perfect Chance reads as a complete standalone but is part of the Mason Creek series written by a handful of authors.
Kaden and Carly start out as a one-night stand with no contact info or last names shared but fate steps in and these two are brought together in spectacular fashion. I loved how independent Carly is, pushing to forge her own path despite her parents' objections. Kaden is a hard-working rancher who is adored by all. These two have tons of chemistry and I loved all of the sexual tension that boils between them. Despite the one night stand, their relationship builds slowly and I loved watching it develop. I adored their witty, flirty banter---everything about their relationship was so fun!
McLain's writing is as wonderful as ever and I inhaled this story. Her words always hit me right in the heart and she makes me feel everything the characters feel. You should definitely take a chance on this Perfect Chance! 5 stars

This was an awesome second chance at love story with a surprise baby thrown in the mix. It starts in Colorado and then moves to Mason Creek. While its part of the series, it easily stands alone and I really enjoyed the author, Molly McClain's writing style.
In this book we meet Kaden and Carly. Both have a connection to Mason Creek but don't know it when they meet in Denver. They share a very hot night and go their separate ways.
This was a really fun story. I loved how Kaden and Carly end up meeting in Mason Creek. I also loved that they both have strong feelings for each other. The whole Suprise baby angle was a lot of fun too and I loved how Kaden responds when he finds out. Though I did feel that Carly should have told him much sooner. For me I found that she didn't share the news right away, a bit frustrating.
This was a story I really adored. Both Carly and Kaden were awesome characters and I really loved watching them get to know each other as they fall in love. I liked that the author had them get to know each other slowly but how strong their connection were to each other.

Went straight into this after Holden + Alana’s story and I was SO excited when I realised it was accidental pregnancy as this is one of my fave tropes to read! I loved Kaden + Carly’s story so much, it was heartwarming, emotional and full of swoon and steam.
And some of my thoughts while reading…
⊹ the best banter right from their fun bar meet cute.
⊹ loved the instant chemistry between.
⊹ the beautiful friendship they formed before progressing into something deeper.
⊹ hated that she told her wretched ex about her pregnancy before kaden.
⊹ his reaction to her pregnancy however was everything. the way he cared, supported and protected her had me melting into a puddle on my couch. he stepped up and did not falter once.
⊹ loved carly and her determination to step out from her families expectations and make it on her own. i admired her so much.
⊹ wanted to slap her mother. still don’t like her.
⊹ loving the friendships and found family in this series
⊹ adored the way they found each other again and it was clear they were always meant to be.
⊹ i enjoyed the cameos in this from previous books, especially Holden and his relationship with kaden.

Carly has grown up wanting for nothing, but that is not who she is. She's a hard worker and wants to do things on her own. She wants to prove to herself and to her family that she can do. Moving to Mason Creek is the right way decision for her. Her parents are not so sure, especially her mom, her dad just wants her happy. Now she's in Mason Creek hoping to live her life with the noisy people trying to be in her business. She has a secret though and when she comes face-to-face with the man she can't stop thinking about well it's about to make for some drama. Kaden is the hottie cowboy who is just so down to earth that you fall for him right away. I love his work ethic, his attitude, and just the ray of sunshine he tries to show. He will do anything for his family and it shows. However, one night is about to change that when he comes face-to-face with a woman he hasn't been able to stop thinking about. Now, these two are about to go on an adventure. When her truth comes out though will they be able to have the kind of love we all dream of? Find out the next level of love in Mason Creek.

Set time aside to binge another great book in Mason Creek.
If you’re looking to read a book with a strong female main character and a male who is so secure in his alpha roll to let her do her own thing then this book is for you.
Carly knows what she wants in life and that is to not be controlled by others or be given handouts. Letting herself have something she wants- a one night stand with an overly attractive cowboy- turns into something she didn’t expect. Kaden is another McMurray boy that puts all other men to shame! His swoon worthy behavior and ability be a partner to Carly and not a controlling one was perfectly written.
This book wasn’t one of those annoying- drag out the drama- type books with unrealistic reactions from the characters. Everything came together perfectly in due time.
More than anything this book delivers an escape into a world where things get messy but the people around are there to help you sort it out.

Carly was born with a sliver spoon in her mouth but she wanted more for herself she didn’t want to depend on her parents or a man for the things she wants in life so when her current boyfriend an NFL star pops the question she turn him down because he wants her to give up on her dreams. A while later Carly and her bestie end up at a bar in Denver to celebrate graduation and while her bestie goes. To flirt with some locals Carly has a handsome cowboy offering to buy her a drink and next thing she knows she was in his hotel room and had a wild night. Kaden cant stop thinking about that night after Carly left him alone in his room with out getting her number or even her last name. Things are about to get crazier for these two when chance and fate have something to do with it and with the possible chance her ex tries to get her back. This story was so good i couldn’t put it down, i was so invested into these characters so much.

I'm aware that I keep saying this, but I want to move to Mason Creek so very much, and each new book in the series reaffirms that desire LOL! Perfect Chance is a beautiful story that follows Carly, who would rather be single than to give up her dreams, and Kaden, a sexy cowboy with a big heart that I would love to make my own (this is a big deal since I don't do cowboys LOL). They meet up at a bar & hook up thinking they'll never see each other again. However, fate has a different plan in store as they both find themselves in Mason Creek. Carly is a strong heroine who is capable of standing on her own two feet, while Kaden lets her be her but has her six just in case. This story is not only amazing because of the small town charm that Mason Creek provides, but also has the Molly McLain stamp on it, and she always fills my heart up completely every time I experience anything she creates! You don't want to miss out on Perfect Chance as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

In my own opinion, Nobody can write small town McDreamy men like Molly McLain!
Yes, ladies, chivalry is alive still in the world of Mason Creek. I love this town that all the authors have created. I just wish it was a real place. The more time spent with each book just makes it more difficult to rejoin the real world.
Kaden will have you seeing with heart eyes, and believing in blue collar gentlemen. He knows how to 'read' a lady, and has Carly hooked with the first peek at his arm as it reaches into her vision and buys her a drink. Not to mention that first time he calls her 'Darlin'.... Swoon!
The laughs are plenty. Drama is still there, but it doesn't feel as heavy as it is woven into the storyline and not as prominent. I can't wait for baby Tessa's story.

I loved Carly and Kaden and Mason Creek. Molly writes the best small town romances out there. Even though it’s not my favorite it’s still so good and I couldn’t stop reading. Carly grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth and with a controlling mother who wanted to make her live the way she wanted. Carly’s NFL boyfriend proposes to her after he gets drafted and she turns him down. Fast forward a year later and she meets Kaden at a bar in Denver. He’s extremely handsome, charming, and knows all the right things to say. They hook up in a hotel and the next morning Carly skips out without leaving a phone number or even her last name. She never knew his either. A month later Carly finds out she’s pregnant and has no idea how she’s going to find him….

Kaden and Carly were cute. It was a one night thing that she wasn’t expecting to meet anyone and so did he. They spoke and we’re having a good time even though Kaden knew she was out if his league. He was surprised that she made the first move and one thing led to another. Fast forward couple weeks later she decides on a new beginning and relocates only to find Kaden again. They were both shocked when they saw each other again and how they were connected. Kaden picked up from where they left and things just fell into a place. Her ex tried to create havoc but Carly wasn’t your typical trust fund kid, she had a backbone and wasn’t anyone doormat or pushover. Kaden family were awesome and Carly’s dad was amazing; her mom was a work in progress but eventually got there. Kaden and Carly love story was beautiful.

Oh did this story make my heart sing! McLain delivers with all the feels and all the swoon as a one night stand turned into something so much more for both Carly and Kaden. Fate had a lot to play in this story if you are to believe it. The chance meeting in Denver that led to their night of passion then poof. Neither knew how to find the other. What are the odds they would find each other again and in such an unexpected way? There are so many raw emotions that bleed through this page as both Carly and Kaden navigate what the future has for these two. And while we get a little bit of drama, this story is mostly heartfelt and just beautiful. There are unexpected moments that lead to something stunning and lots of raw emotional moments as things get laid out on the table. Perfect addition to the Mason Creek World!

Swoon-Worthy writer Molly McLain once again produced another stunning romance and another perfect couple to Mason Creek, there is no Chance needed to read this brilliant story
From the brief meeting between Carly and Kaden the sparks flew and the connection was instant, but one night was all it was supposed to be, Carly is making life-changing decisions one of those is missing to Mason Creek, she was never supposed to see Kaden again. Kaden can't forget the girl he meets, both with no last name how will he ever see her again, but Mason Creek is like one of those magical snow globe towns and fate is about to step in with a surprise.
Seatback and enjoy you won't be disappointed.

I loved this return to Mason Creek. I’ve missed this small town and the McMurray family ranch. I’m not usually a fan of the one night stand resulting in a pregnancy trope, but with Carly and Kaden and the Mason Creek charm it worked. I loved Kaden and his confidence and his smooth darlin’s. I loved Carly’s determination to live life on her own terms. I loved the secondary characters and getting to catch up with Alana and Holden from the first Mason Creek novel. Mostly, I love that Ms. McLain’s writing keeps getting better and better. If you’re in the mood for a small-town, romantic and sexy love story, then start in on the Mason Creek series. While this book can be read as a standalone, the first one is great, too.

Molly McLain is giving me all the feels with her small town romance books. I love how she writes her stories, especially her heroes. Perfect Chance had me swooning nonstop. I love a surprise pregnancy so when Kaden and Carly got together, I screamed!! I was so anxious waiting for Kaden to find out.
Kaden is GOALS!!! I love how devoted he is to everything in his life, he isn't pushy or demanding. Which I think is what Carly needs. Carly is tired of being told who she should be, so when she meets Kaden, she realizes that there are people out there that see her worth.
I loved this book! I cannot wait to read more of Molly's books!

This book seriously exceeded my expectations. I am always so excited to get a Molly McLain book, and she has never let me down.
Not gonna lie, I am in love with the fictional town on Mason Creek and all who live (and move) there.
This latest story revolves around Carly and Kaden. I love their chemistry. Carly is a strong and independent heroine and Kaden... oh my... he is everything. He lets her fight her own battles but stays near, just in case. He is smart, thoughtful, open, and honest. In my mind, he is the perfect book boyfriend. Perfect Chance is a blend of strong characters, great supporting characters, small town charm, a horrible ex, a little (but not too much) family drama and a reminder of how sometimes, when we take a chance, everything lines up exactly how it should.
Molly's books somehow always check all the boxes of what I want and love about books. Somehow, this one catapulted to the top of my list. Her books just keep getting better and better.

Carly and Kaden meet at a bar in Denver and have a fun night. When he wakes up the next morning she’s gone. Out of pure accident they both end up a few weeks later in Mason Creek. They are both surprised but happy to see each other. As they try and build their lives in Mason Creek they get to know each other better. I’m soooo happy to be back in Mason Creek! Carly and Kaden are cute together and had a great connection. Between the small town gossip, family drama and the little surprises here and there this was a very entertaining read. I enjoyed The fast paced writing style and the fun banter. I’m already looking forward to reading the next book in the series!

Kaden and Carly definitely meet by chance the first time and fate definitely plays a hand when they meet again. Carly was just looking for some fun and was ready to leave that night behind and focus on her career, but fate had other plans.
Kaden can't get the girl he met in Denver out of his head and fate brings her walking right into his small town of Mason Creek.
These stories are small town romance with some country flair. This one was entertaining without too much angst, a egotistical ex, and a swoony cowboy to keep this independent gal on her toes.

Thoroughly enjoyable read.

With one last hurrah before moving away from her family to start on the future that she wants, Carly finds herself spending the night with a cowboy. Not knowing his last name makes it very difficult to track him down when that one night leaves her with something she was not expecting. But when Kaden happens to live in the same area as she is going to be working gives her the chance to see if the feelings were real. Can you make a future with a person you had one chance encounter with? With adorable characters and a storyline that made me swoon this was another wonderful addition to the Mason Creek series. I only wish this was a real town - I would move in a heartbeat.

This one was a great cute read! It's book eighteen in the Mason Creek series but can be read as a standalone. The series is written by different authors, all taking place in Mason Creek, Montana. Carly and Kaden have a one-night stand, and months later, they run into each other in Mason Creek. Carly is trying to get a job and start over, and that's why she's in Mason Creek. Kaden is there working on his brother's ranch. Carly has a little secret that she's a little nervous about sharing. These two have great chemistry and a sweet story. I loved every minute of reading it.
