Loved this small town romance, Keira and Brodie were perfection together!
Keira is a sassy and independent h who’s feeling the sting of her long term fwb partner, Aaron, ending things with her for another woman. She meets Brodie in her bar and gives him a New Years kiss not realizing he’s a famous actor and just trying to ease her loneliness.
The H Brodie has trust issues after his ex cheated on him but let him take the public fall for their breakup because of the paparazzi. His next big movie role is on the line, so when another pic comes out with he and Keira kissing, he asks for her help pretending to be his girlfriend to the media. She agrees so she can make Aaron jealous and win him back.
Keira was such a badass h and I loved that even when she was having a hard time over the Aaron situation, she still didn’t put up with the grief Brodie gave her after their first kiss (and pulling out the taser 😂). It was also great to see her find strength in coming to her senses and being honest about her feelings in the end.
Brodie started out in a bit of a bad place prioritizing the wrong things and lashing out because he was used to being taken advantage of, and it was fun to watch him realize Keira wasn’t like all the others, and to see her really realize her self worth in the end.
This book had a great balance between sweet, hot, humor, and angst with a beautiful HEA. Can’t wait to see what’s next from Piper!

Returning to Sweet Pea was so much fun! I was very eager to see what happened with Keira and the mystery guy she was always referring to. I have to admit to pretty much not liking him right away. I love when an author can give you those instinctive feelings about a person through their words. Especially when it's done in such a way that it's not in your face obvious that's what they're doing.
As with all of the series I've read by this author, I love how each book can stand alone with it's own couple and it's own story, but that all the characters intertwine and know each other in some way or another. It really makes the story seem so much more real and the reader get even more invested with the characters.
I am a sucker for a celebrity romance, and we get that with this book as well. Brodie is one of those celebrities that we all hope all celebrities are like. He's honest and has real emotions, and he's human and fallible too. I love how he connects with Keira and how they end up helping each other out in ways that neither of them were prepared for.
I also loved the epilogue! What a great way to end the trilogy and catch up with the characters from the first two books. If you enjoy celebrity romances, a good rom-com, or any of the other books by Piper James, you are sure to love this book!

Piper James is one of my favorite romance writers, so of course, I absolutely love her newest book, Breaking Them Up With Brodie: Sweet Pea Flings book 3.
Book three tells Keira’s story, and let me tell you, it’s just as unputdownable as all the rest of her books are. Ms. James' storytelling is so effortless it’s easy to fall into the world she creates until you’re so wrapped up in the story it feels like you’re right there experiencing it right along with the characters.
Keira is a successful bar owner, she couldn’t ask for better best friends, and she’s happily engaged in a “friends with benefits” relationship that she’s considering turning into something more. There’s only one problem…her “friend” has found someone else. So, what’s a girl to do but drown her sorrows in alcohol and kiss a stranger on New Year’s Eve? Only this stranger—unbeknownst to her—just so happens to be famous.
I recommend this book to everyone who loves tales of fake relationships that may not be so fake after all. It has a little bit of everything: sweet romance, spicy romance, and plans that go awry in the best ways possible.

What do you do when you friend-with-benefits rejects your invite to your best friends wedding because hes found someone he actually wants to be in a relationship with? If your answer isn't to start a fake relationship with a famous actor, then we can't be friends.
After being rejected Kiera spends weeks pining over Aaron, so when he shows up to her bar with new girlfriend in tow realization hits that she's in love with him. She spends the night getting drunk with a stanger and at midnight kisses him. It turns out that stranger is none other than famous actor Broderick Bennett and that one kiss may mess up the opportunity he's been dreaming of.
They come up with a plan to pretend to be in a relationship so he can score the lead acting gig and she can make Aaron jealous so he'll come back to her.
Full of romantic tension and in detail spice this book is another must read by the queen of book boyfriends!

Welcome back to Sweet Pea, y’all! In the third book of this series, we finally get Kiera’s story. Kiera, everyone’s favorite bartender, is in love with Alex, the widow single dad. Unfortunately, he’s just broken off their friends with benefits relationship for the PTA mom. And, this is how we find our favorite bartender on New Year’s Eve behind the bar, drunk, watching Alex with his PTA mom date. Who does that? It’s rude, you all! At midnight, Kiera kisses a handsome stranger—Brodie.
Now, each find themselves in need of the other, one to get her man back, the other to help his image. Fake relationship for the win! Will the sparks fly between Kiera and Brodie, or will she win back Alex?
Piper James is amazing at creating stories and characters and towns that you want to hang out with and in. This is just another example of her ability to draw you in, and have enough support from former main characters that you feed both the need for new stories and old friends. Another amazing job!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. This should come as no surprise now, but Piper James has done it again. I'm what, 12 books in? And they feel new EVERY SINGLE TIME. You would would there would be some repetition being this far into a series, but there isn't. I get dragged into every single book and never want to leave. They all feel like my best friends and I'm living their lives right along side them. That is how you know you are reading a wonderfully talented author. Piper James has some mad writing skills and I hope she keeps on writing because I would be completely devastated if she stopped. Her books are my comfort reads. And they are always HOT AF!! 🔥🔥🔥
Brodie and Keira's love story is unique and heartfelt. I love the fake relationship turned real trope. And the magic of Brodie's tongue is something to strive for 🤣🤣

Now this one is my favorite
Yes, I say this about all of these books, but this one is by far my favorite!
I loved the chemistry from these two right off the bat, that kiss at new years, I mean, Damn!
I did not like Aaron at all, just something about him rubbed me the wrong way from the beginning. Perhaps it was having been in that cycle of good enough for sex, not good enough for a relationship.
I instantly loved Kiera in book one and was so excited to find out she was getting her own story.
Brodie was a total sweetheart, Piper keeps writing my dream guy and it never gets old. I loved how he was sweet to the Stanleys and did I mention their chemistry from the beginning.
The friendships in here too. I love this series so much. Especially the first time Brodie meets the men. Still laughing.
Such a good ending to this one.
I wish I could give this more than five stars.

Once again I was honor to read this arc book. From Piper James . I apologize for taken so long with my health I had Covid. But glad to finish this story. The I just have to say you keep blowing me away. The charters the story line their just no words. This series been fantastic and can’t wait for more. Basically this story is about. Keira never wanted to be in a relationship. Until she realize the person she been sleeping decided to leave her and start a relationship with some else. Keira didn’t want that.
Brodie was a famous actor but can’t have any mor problems that will effect his career. Until on New Year’s Eve .
Keira and Brodie agree to do a fake relationship and help each other. Keira to win back her lover. And Brodie to fix his career. What happens will you have to find out . Thank you so much Piper James and I apologize for my delay. I recommend this book I give it a 5/5

Who doesn’t love a good fake relationship to make my booty call jealous trope with a celebrity twist? This story was so wonderful. Kiera thought she loved her FWB and was broken hearted when he started dating someone else. So she kisses a hot stranger on NYE to make herself feel better, and him jealous. When this causes problems in the media for Brodie, they decide to fake date so he doesn’t lose his next movie deal and Kiera can make her FWB jealous. Two birds one stone deal where they both benefit… until they start having feelings for each other. I loved watching Kiera realize her worth and that she really didn’t know what love was…. Until now, of course. Happy ever after and lots of spice between these two. Everything by Piper James is a must read!

What happens when a innocent New Year Eve's kiss happens?......Scandel damage control of course! Keira didnt mean to cause trouble when she kissed Brodie on New Years Eve. Alls she wanted to do was make her ex booty call jealous. Now she must right this wrong so that Brodie wont miss a chance at playing a part in a movie.

Oh these sweet damaged souls. They are so untrusting of other people. They aren't sure if the other is using them or what. Brodie figures out that he needs someone who wants Brodie and not Broderick. Which is something most people don't look past for him. Keira has been damaged by someone that she used to fill a hole and she thinks she fell for. Little does she know he was using her all along and it was all he wanted from her. Aaron can go choke on a 🌵.

I usually don't like stories that uses another person to try and make someone jealous to try and get them back. But I liked it. It was fate that brought them together for an amazing midnight kiss on NYE. Then she finds out he a movie star and they use each other to get something in their lives. She wants back with her FWB. And he wants a movie roll. But things get a little hot and heavy.

As this is a book I was eagerly anticipating from Piper James, I had high hopes going into the story. I was not disappointed. Kiera and Brodie's story was amazing, from beginning to end. Their story was sweet, and though it may not have started out conventional, there was still some attraction there and everything just fell into place. It was an amazing story and it pulled me in so much that I read it all in one sitting. Such an amazing end to another series by Piper James.

This is the third book in the Sweetpea Flings series. I absolutely loved Keira and Brodies story. It was funny and sweet, and drew me in from the start. This book starts out with Keira realizing that she has feelings for her friends with benefits Aaron. So she asks him to got to her friends wedding with her. But he reveals he’s seeing someone and their relationship is over. An ass move right? Keira and Brodie’s relationship is full of chemistry and passion. And through the book you wonder, will they ever realize they are perfect for each other? I’ve loved all of Piper James’ books, and she’s become a favorite author of mine. Can’t wait to see what other amazing stories she is going to tell. I definitely recommend this book, and all her others, they have it all, humor, amazing characters, and lots of steam.

Piper James wrote another 5 star rom com!! Sassy pub owner Kiera meets a handsome stranger on New Year’s Eve and impulsively kisses him at midnight. Turns out he’s a mega famous movie star suffering from a recent break up. They concoct a fake relationship to benefit them both. Smart, sexy and laugh out loud funny, Breaking them up with Brody is a fun, fast read and must read for romance lovers.

I love returning to Sweet Pea! I have to say that the fake dating trope is not usually my favorite but this one was done exceptionally well. I love Brodie and Keira and I am so happy with their story! They both deserve their happily ever after! I’m so happy that Keira didn’t settle for Aaron.

I love the fake dating trope and Piper James nailed it. I have been looking forward to Keira’s story since we met her in “Fooling around with Ford” and it didn’t disappoint. While I thought we would be getting a Keira/Aaron story, I loved Brodie almost instantly and disliked Aaron about as fast. Keira and Brodie had great chemistry and the author didn’t disappoint when that slow burn finally exploded. (Do her spicy scenes ever disappoint? NO!). I already mentioned that I love this trope, but there is usually the inevitable explosion where everyone finds out, which is typically a cringe fest. Not this time. The characters did not assume the worst and when they did, they talked about it!! (Can we see this more often?!?). “Breaking them up with Brodie” is a HEA with minimal drama and peeks at the other couples we have already met in Sweet Pea Florida.
