WHAT READERS ARE SAYING
★★★★★ “I have just finished reading The Fall of Grace. I have to say that I didn't think the story could get any better but boy have you proved me wrong. These 3 books are some of the most incredible that I've ever read and I do hope the story doesn't end here." —Ellen Aish
★★★★★. "Shocking, jaw-dropping and can't-put-down. Just a few words to describe this amazing continuation of the Killing of Faith series. This story is full of twists and turns that will keep you guessing right until the end. The characters are so well written that your heart can't help but break for them." –– Christie Schneider
★★★★★ "Once again the Brunick family characters almost jump off the page as they make their way from one complicated situation to another. Unexpected twists and turns make this another page-turner and the yell out-loud ending is unforgettable. Do yourself a favor and buy this book!" – Deborah Jesensek
★★★★★ "The chapters are quick and easy to fly through as you are continually pulled to find out what her next misstep will be that leads to her ultimate misery described at the onset. There is a constant struggle of who to trust and that feeling of "things are going way too well" that you know something is about to go terribly wrong. Just when you think the ending couldn't be more predictable, there's a shocking Gone Girl-level twist. It's not a feel good story, however I like that it leaves you feeling extremely thankful for all the simple things you might take for granted in your life. I'm hoping for a sequel!" — Annalee
★★★★★ "I've read a lot of kindle books on Amazon and this is one of the best books that I've read in a long time. I would highly recommend this one and I cannot wait for the next one from this author." — Jimmy Jones

★★★★★. "So...I received my copy of the book "The killing of faith" and started reading it at about 8pm. It started flowing and I didn't want to stop. I had to know where it was going. I couldn't.... (and you won't) foresee what's going to happen. I read all night and finished at 7:30am. So..was it good? It was as good or better than any suspense book or movie that I have ever seen. This is Alfread Hitchcock. it was not good..... It was great." — Dean.
William Holms, a three-time national award winner author, was born on October 12, 1965 and grew up in Hitchcock, Texas – a small town south of Houston. A graduate of The University of Texas, where he received his undergrad in business, and Baylor University, where he attended law school, William Holms is a veteran trial and divorce attorney with over thirty years of experience in both the legal field and the study of the human condition—which always comes into play in the practice of law. Inspired and sometimes unsettled by his observations surrounding cases, Holms channeled his background into his first award-winning suspense/thriller novel, The Killing of Faith. After the book received numerous awards and praise from all critics, William Holms followed up with The Beginning of Hope, The Fall of Grace, and The Rise and Fall of Ryan.
You MUST read this series and in order! Such heartfelt characters that you will become immersed! I read them all, no, devoured them all in succession. I love this author’s writing style and hope he will keep pumping them out! I was so sad to finish reading these 4 books! There’s a lot of meat sprinkled in these stories showing the author’s vast intelligence! Plus, there were many facts that were part of my generation. Just great fun!
This is the 3rd in the series and this one is about the oldest daughter, Grace. This follows her journey after losing her father in a car accident. When she finds out the story about her mother leaving them, her sister, Hope and her travel to Thailand to see where she was buried...
When Grace returns to her home, her husband, Jackson, has not returned from his business trip. He usually checks in, but she hasn't heard from him since her vacation. Now after 3 days she is more then worried, where is he? When she goes to the police, she becomes the top suspect. They think Grace had something to do with him missing.
But, it is more to Jackson missing then Grace knows and the police have just come to her to tell her what they learned!
These books are amazing and you can never really guess the endings!!! I am ready to read the next one in this series!
Come on! Don't leave us not knowing how it all ends! It's a three book series, and you expect the third book will wrap everything up in a tidy little bow, but instead it leaves another cliffhanger wide open!
That's not fair! If it's going to end like this, then we either need a fourth book or the author needs to actually FINISH this one to tie up the loose ends he created towards the end. It's not considered a "twist" when it frustrates your readers because it leaves the book or series unfinished!
Very disappointing to read the series and end up with open ends!
You must read this series in order to really get the whole story. So, if you are doing that, you must be crazy ready to read the next. For those of you deciding what to read , start at the beginning, . For the rest of us, this story is just one surprise after another. I've never read a series that never drags, and is so well written, you believe things could work out just this way. I also love the way the characters have grown and evolved, changed their minds, and for some, realized how like one another they are . I can't wait to read the last part.
This book is the third in the series of four. The first two were awesome, but this one had a lot of boring content in it that I skipped over. It was a slow book getting started and in some places was boring. I also found many errors-miss spellings. All in all, I did stick with it. I’m hoping the fourth-the final book in the series-is a better book like the first two were. I gave four stars, but truthfully, it deserved three and a half. Since I couldn’t do that, I was generous.
WOW, what a page turner of a novel and the end was intense. Someone mentioned it being "shocking, jaw-dropping & can't-put-down" - so true. There are so many twists and turns I lost count, amazing read and ready for more. William Holms makes you feel the characters to heart, full on in the way of life and emotions in all ways and then the cliff hanger ending hits you hard amazingly and shockingly ready to read the next book. WOW, I want to say more but speechless, amazing story.
This book deserves way more than 5 stars. It's the third book in the saga and I have to say they are 3 of the most incredible books I have ever read. The plots and twists are remarkable and you can't help but be drawn in. You feel the characters' emotions - the anger, pain and helplessness. Then comes the explosive cliffhanger ending which I certainly never saw coming.
I was absolutely riveted with this series! The characters literally came alive, very relatable. One in character in particular I absolutely hated with a passion! If you're looking for a fantastic series, this is it.The only flaw, editing needs more attention. I am giving 5 stars anyway because, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend!
Without Faith and Hope to carry on. I'm sorry but I'm getting out of the series. The attachment to them left me disappointed and hard to devote myself to this one. Too much about Flint that I hated reading. Still not a bad plot n interesting enough find out what would happen
The old Apple didn't fall very far at all off this tree😁😂!!!. This story was so moving, exciting, entertaining and interesting!!!. You won't figure this one out till the very end. William is a Fantastic storyteller and is a PHENOMENAL writer!!. Can't wait for the next story to come out.
Wow! William Holms continues the Killing of Faith series with this third installment, The Fall of Grace. And, oh, how she falls! Full of twists and turns, with a shocking revelation you can’t imagine, this book will change what you think you know about your own family and the secrets they may be keeping from you!
I never saw the twist at the end! All three of these books from Killing Faith to Fall of Grace are unstoppable reads, I can't wait for the next book in the series. I'm a fan of William Holms for life.
This series has taken me on such a ride! I love twists I don’t see coming & this series has the lot! The characters were defined earlier; however, getting each perspective is a treat of adventure. Can’t wait to read more!
Number three book of the series is Awesome I'm thinking maybe this one was my favorite. It keeps you guessing...Several times I started to put this book down but had to keep reading Another "Must Read" for your list
This series is getting better and better, I am invested in the lives of Grace, Hope, and the rest and can’t wait to see what happens in book 4 of this great series. Plenty of action and at a good pace. Recommend.
I only made it to 3%. I just couldn't bear anymore history lessons. I was tempted to fast forward or decide suffer through it just out of curiosity to find out if pre-1940s politics somehow ties in to this story. I couldn't do it! WTH??
I just started to read William Holms. I can't stop. My new favorite writer. Thank goodness I stayed with Kill Faith. I really got in to it about 50% . It was like the beginning of Trinity, by Leon Iris.
The plot keeps going with twists and turns every way. The characters just keep getting better. Looking forward to the last book. Part of me doesn't want it to end. Keeps you on your toes lol
Terrible editing. This was the best of the books if you don’t mind grammar & spelling errors, just like the other two books. That’s the reason for only 3 stars.
Loved it. An amazing writing by William Holms. Third book in The Killing of Faith Series. Bought this one myself. Loved every page, turning, anticipation. I couldn't stop reading.
The saga continues and just when you think you have it figured out, the author throws a wrench into the story, and you shake your head and mutter "wow."
Grace and Jackson are married and she thinks it’s a wonderful marriage. This is the third book in the series and the plaid is really good. There are four characters really mac ke up the story. Grace, Jackson, flint, and Grace‘s father. I found the plot, very good, and it all ties in with the other two books. I look forward to the fourth book in the series. I recommend this book Rall, who, like thrillers and love.
Shocking, jaw dropping and can't-put-down. Just a few words to describe this amazing continuation of the Killing of Faith series. This story focuses on Grace's marriage and is full of twists and turns that will keep you guessing right until the end. The characters are so well written that your heart can't help but break for them. Looking forward to reading more novels by William Holms.
