Oliver Cucinelli has a problem, a conundrum, a challenge, an enigma. His Christmas wish list reads more like an email from his boss at work—multiple items of extreme complexity, equally high priority, and worst of all, required to be achieved within a very small window of time. Not only must he impregnate his best friend post-haste, but he also must formulate a solid, fool-proof plan for making her fall irrevocably in love with him. To be clear, the irrevocability of Liv’s love must be strong enough to overcome the potential disappointment of failing to conceive a child together. What Oliver needs is a Christmas miracle. What he gets is a meddling mother who insists that putting a ring on it is the solution to Oliver’s problems. Unfortunately, Oliver isn’t so sure that Liv wants to hear wedding bells more than she wants to hear a baby’s cries.
Olivia Holland wants a baby, and not even Santa Claus can guarantee on-time delivery. Even though her best friend has offered to be her baby daddy, Olivia is painfully aware that she’s never been Ollie’s first choice as a bed partner. After a close call with one of his former lovers while Christmas shopping, Olivia decides she needs to be more like all the other women Ollie has preferred over the years—voluptuous, bold, and easy to be with. If only she hadn’t already promised her family she’d spend the holidays with them at the beach. Ollie really hates sand, and Olivia is terrified that he might reconsider their committed baby-making arrangement once he witnesses her parents’ unconventional relationship.
Ollie failed to put a bird in Liv’s oven by Thanksgiving, but if he can unlock the secret code of romance, then he might be able to convince her that a shiny stocking stuffer will buy them more time to beat her ticking biological clock.
Kata Čuić lives in Pittsburgh, PA, USA and writes romance stories with a dash of humor, a dollop of spice, and a heaping helping of heart. With a background in Linguistics and a minor in Religious Studies, her writing style marries lit fic with delicious tropes. He falls first and harder, anyone?
From angst-filled new adult series to standalone rom-coms, and even a touch of paranormal, Kata's diverse storytelling offers something for every romance reader palate. Because she gets bored writing the same things all the time, okay?
When she's not writing, Kata emotionally eats to cope with the endless news cycle, binge reads series because sleep is for the weak, and probably drinks too much whiskey.
While I once again enjoyed this cute romance and the humour, I read it hoping for a conclusion to Olivia and Ollie’s story (which I had honestly been expecting from book 1). So imagine my disappointment when they still haven’t got it together for a HEA at the end. As curious as I am to see how they resolve things and finally TELL each other that they both want the same thing I am not going to be caught in the trap of ongoing stories. I like my stories (especially light romance) told and finished not continued on through multiple books.
Wow, Olivia and Ollie are back at it. Olivia wants a baby and Ollie wants to make that happen. However, with the holidays looming over and his plan to make her fall in love with him, has Ollie starting to unravel. Then throw in all the events in life happening around them, pasts coming back to the present and these two are in for a bumpy ride. Olivia and Ollie both have feelings, yet won’t admit them to each other, except to continue with their pact. But what happens when a trip to visit Olivia’s family creates even more pressure and anxiety for these two that could ruin their pact, but also their friendship? Olivia and Ollie deliver on the heat these two create, but add in the funny moments and times where you want to knock some sense into them. You won’t be disappointed and will be waiting with me to see what happens between these two in the next book!
This is the second book in this series and Oliver and Olivia’s journey continues. Oliver is feeling the pressure with his meddling mother, and feels he need a Christmas miracle to help his best friend. Olivia never felt she was good enough to be with Oliver, especially when she crosses paths with one of his ex’s. These two go to Olivia’s parents for Christmas vacation, which is hilarious. This is a well written unique storyline, with humor, witty banter, family, miscommunication, and love, which leads to an entertaining and all-consuming page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend.
The story continues as some truths are revealed but Oliver and Olivia are determined to make a baby. With a vaccination ahead with Liv's family things are getting complicated.
Unable to convey their feelings to each other things keep getting confusing and even more complex. Add in their ex and changing family dynamics into the mix which is a making in disaster.
Although, I love the couple and their families as well I hoped for the series to end with book 2 and the misunderstandings to be cleared. They being best friends and unable to simpley tell their true feelings was a bit frustrating.
These added misunderstandings felt unnecessary apart from which it was a good read.
Kata Čuić has done it again...she just keeps writing great reads that suck me in,wanting more...
We first meet Ollie and Liv in her Thanksgiving novella, Bird in the Oven ..and we follow the funny, miscommunicating relationship that these two friends have.Add in dome wonderful ide characters and family and the reader gets the new holiday book, Stocking Stuffer.
I highly recommend this lovable couple to get one in the holiday spirit. Kata's storyline is funny, unique but most importantly justso well written as if the reader is along for the holiday fun.
Kata Cuix has done it again. Her writing is one of the best i’ve seen, and her books are well researched in my opinion. Stocking Stuffer is a frustratingly good book. Oliver and Olivia is a fun pair to read about, but the miss communication is making me want to tear my hair off. I love their chemistry and their bickering a lot though.
I was so excited to have this book come out to continue the storyline. ABSOLUTELY love these characters and so eager and sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the next one because I am so committed to this couple. The ups, downs, lefts, and rights of their lives just won’t let you put it down.
Well, those knuckleheads are at it again! Oliver and Olivia still can't quite figure out that little thing called love. They're constantly hemmin' and hawin' around each other, and ya know what, it makes them so adorable and I am here for it!
Olivia and Oliver have been best friends since the fourth grade. These two have an often miscommunication due to his autistic nature. They both love each other but have a hard time making their feelings known to one another. Their dysfunctional families don't make it easy either. I loved reading more about Olivia and Oliver whom I first met in the novella A Bird in the Oven.
This is such a funny book! I love Ollie. He’s different in a good way.Ollie and Liv are horrible at communicating with each other. The by play between all the characters is so funny. The writing is fresh and fun!

I love Ollie and Liv! They are so addictive. This story had me want to pull my hair though. The miscommunication is so frustrating. The bickering and just them make it worth the frustration. I can't wait to see how the next book goes. They deserve an epic hea.
Stocking Stuffer was a little hard at first but I kept reading a little more then realised... the guy is on autism spectrum! His speech pattern is what got me in the first place. I thought the author had made her H/h too wooden but it wasn't that at all! The author was expressing Ollie as he would speak and showing all the inner workings of this guys mind and what a mind it is! Ms Cuic delves into the mind with ease and shows how a person, a man, grows and understands. How they see the world, and a love. Ollie loves Olivia and she loves him but neither realise. Him from missing cues and her for feeling like she wasn't enough. He want for a baby has him offering services and they both enjoy but still think its a servicing of convenience nothing more. How wrong they are. Going to Olivia's parents for Christmas Vacation is the highlight of the story for me. Some of the scenes were so funny. The parents, 2nd grandpa and the brother and his wife a lovely addition to an already great read.
