One taste, and I’d never be the same…

I run a highly successful restaurant. I’m part of the local wolf pack. I work out. I date. I have friends. My life looks, and sounds perfect.

But once a month I leave it all behind, and run to him. Except, the minute I leave, the only thing I remember is the desperation that drives me back to his arms, time and time again.

My brother doesn’t know what I do, or where I go. He knows some of my secrets but not to the full extent. Lydia does, but Gray doesn’t know about Lydia. It’s a mess.

When I’m drawn into the world of the vampires, where four Houses rule everything, I quickly discover their world is not all it seems. It’s dark, and gory, fraught with complex relationships, and vengeful games that span years.

I have to lean on someone. Although I’m pretty sure I won’t survive them. It’s not my war to fight, but my heart will be its first casualty. My name is Faryn, and this is my story.

The Bitten Wolf is the first book in The Vampire House War. It is a fast, spicy read and our leading lady will not be forced into choosing who she gives her love to. She'll probably be keeping them all. The vampires are a bloodthirsty and petty lot, so there's plenty of blood and violence, trigger warning also includes stalking and deception.

The Vampire House War and is a shared universe with Cedar Mountain but this is all about the VAMPIRES. There is a crossover of characters but the MC focus is very different.

Omg this book was so not what i thought it was going to be. It was so much bloody better.

Wolf Faryn (FMC) and her over-protective brother - Gray are in the middle of a hostile takeover of their family business. Not only that but a brewing Vampire war too. Faryn has a lot going on in this book. Stalking, unwanted attention and a helpful friend who signs her up with her own personal security team - Lucian, Kylian and Remy. My goodness did these three burn up my kindle!!!

The plot twists, turns and secrets in this book were just knockout. I literally had my jaw on the floor for the majority of this book. Bloody hell that ending was just killer but i seriously wanted to drop kick my kindle i was flaming fuming!! I cant tell you how much i loved this book. Im dying to get my hands in the next book now

This book was fantastic! I think it’s my favourite book so far from Lucy. I absolutely love vampires and it was good to get the background on Grey and Faryn too. The writing was excellent and the character building kept me turning from page to page wanting more. Absolutely love Lucan! He’s my favourite, but I loved Remy and Kylian also. Faryn is a little too stubborn and does things her way just to spite herself, but I’m dying to see how she digs her way of this mess. Knowing her, she’ll make things even worse before they get better! Seriously book 2 can’t come sooner!!! ❤️

Just when I thought this world couldn’t get any deeper, the author has added more layers to an already complex and intriguing tale.

After the cliffhanger in The Omega Wolf and learning about Faryn from her brother I knew I wanted to learn more about her. I was ecstatic when I heard this book was going to feature her. With the previous few tidbits and now reading this book, it’s obvious that there’s something deeper going on, more than was briefly brought up in The Omega Wolf. I absolutely love the suspense and all of the different players that are being brought in.

I love how this book ended it because it was a perfect little throwback to the first two books when we didn’t know really anything at all. I know there’s going to be so much more depth to the story and when the two books/characters/worlds collide it’s going to be explosive. I need to know how we got from this book to the ending of The Omega Wolf.

Why does it feel like someone is watching her. Why is her life being destroyed by the uninvited attention of others. Who can help her ...?

This is the first book in a new series "The Vampire House War" but shares the same world as the Cedar Mountain Pack series.

If you have read that series you will recognise at least a couple of the names in this book.

I wasn't 100% sure what to expect, and I admit I did get a little jumbled up in places with all the characters from each house and their ranking, but once the story settled down it was all smooth sailing.

The characters slowly crawl their way into your heart, and from there till the end they absolutely refuse to leave!

Faryn is a complex character, who is easy to love, but difficult to second guess. Her mind is complex and her emotions are all over the place. I loved her unpredictability and utter determination to stay single.

The vampires of Calmet Security are all extremely dark, delicious and ferociously good at talking the talk. They are all so  smooth and mouth watering!

The ending didn't suprise me, I could see it coming, which dissapointed me a little, but it's still a very good start to this series.

Where do I start? So when I started this book all I could remember was what happened in the Cedar Wolf pack series. Soooo, then I dove in and lord was I in for a ride. Obviously we are shrouded in mystery! We get flashbacks which did confuse me a bit but as I continued reading it become clearer. We get an understanding that Faryn feels like there is something missing in her life. She is keeping secrets from her brother, she is being stalked. Things are happening with no idea why. Magic is being used and oh man does it has is effects on what is going on. However, there is a plus side, we do get some really sinfully hot steamy scenes. Then we have Faryn who is confident on the outside but seems to be falling apart on the inside. I feel like we get two different people who have yet to merge as one. Then I got to the end and I was like oh yes, it all clicked and then bam what do you know it ends with me gaping at my screen. Like for real, I should know better when I read a book by Lucy Scott Bryan but I am just a sucker for her books. So letting the waiting commence. Hopefully it will not be long.

Where do I start? I’m completely blown away by Faryn’s story! When I started this book all I could remember was what happened in the Cedar Wolf pack series (which I definitely recommend you read) because you would know Gray has been trying to find her and has no idea what has been happening. Her keeping secrets from him bugs me because if he had known what was going on, the trail of crumbs he had to follow from the beginning would have been less stressful on him and he would have had a starting point to follow. Obviously, the book is mostly a mystery with flashbacks and puzzle pieces to put together which can be slightly confusing, but I love a good mystery and everything does get clearer in the end. Faryn is being stalked, she is being deceitful to her family, things are happening with no idea why. Thankfully there are some really hot steamy scenes that let the brain take a moment to recover before the next clue or puzzle piece is revealed. Does leave you with a cliffhanger and book hangover, so let the waiting for book 2 to commence.

OMG! This story is magnificent. It had me glued to it from the beginning to the end. I absolutely love the characters and their personalities. Faryn is this strong and loving lady. Lucian, Kylian, and Remy are super intriguing and so amazing. I absolutely love the action, drama, and suspense throughout this story. It drew me in and kept me on the edge of my seat with anticipation. It is a stunning story that is absolutely a story that will leave you on the edge. I love the interactions between Faryn and the guys. At times it has you laughing and other times it has you sad and worried. You can feel the emotions and personalities of the characters throughout the story. The story is extremely well written and developed. It does end in a major cliffhanger that has me completely anxious for the next book in the series. It is absolutely a must read that doesn’t disappoint!!!!!!!!!

I’m completely blown away by Faryn’s story and Lucy’s writing! I was completely captivated from page one. I stayed up past my “bedtime” because I couldn’t pull myself away from it. I couldn’t wait to wake up to read more. I was a little biased reading her story because she kept a lot hidden from her brother, Gray. If you’ve read The Bone Wolf books, you know he’s been trying to find her and has no idea what happened. Had he known what was going on, he would’ve known where to start! Her keeping her secrets from him annoyed me because of that. Aside from her unwillingness to have his help, the story was complex with many twists and turns. At the end, I know the outcome I wanted but Lucy threw me through a loop and left us hanging with the events at the end. I literally wanted to scream and cry because I need the next book like I need my next breath! I cannot wait to read the next book!

This is an amazing read! The character building, world building, and multiple POV format are fantastic! I also loved the fast pacing of the story!

The storyline is unique and entertaining and I loved how it tied into the Cedar Mountain Pack Series! We now have more background on Gray and know what was happening with his sister Faryn before she up and disappeared.

I love Faryn, and all of the characters to be honest, they are all incredible! Although, Faryn, Lucian, Kylian, and especially Remy, are my favs! I thoroughly enjoyed their relationship development and all the steam!

If you love Vampires with a bit of Shifters mixed in, I would highly recommend this book! I loved it and cannot wait to find out what happens next!

Holy Banana! How much did I love this book! The series just gets better and better! Lucy Scott Bryan is one of my VERY FAVORITE authors. She writes with a style that sucks you in right from the start. And you go through all the emotions while you read. I love how she does her supporting characters ❤ (best friends ect..) Faryn is such a great character. I love how she doesn't want to ever be told what to do...and the Calmet house of Vampires who do security! How freaking hot are they! I loved that we got to see more of the life Grey had but it was mostly Faryn's relationship with him. Not his with her. I can't wait for the next book!! HIGHLY recommend this book and series!! It's one of my favorites of all time.

Oh Faryn woman you are too stubborn for your own good! I love me a strong bada$$ female and Faryn is that in spades but sometimes it’s at the expense of herself! I still freaking love the F out of her!! I loved that we got to see into Grey’s background and how much he cares for his sister even if she feels like he’s all up In Her business with his over protective self it comes from a good place and he has a heart of gold. This story had my absolutely captivated from beginning to end and holy jaw dropper that ending had me begging for more!! I can’t wait to find out what happens next!!

Absolutely loving Faryn’s story!! This is the first book in the new series The Vampire House War but is a spin-off to Cedar Mountain Pack which I’d definitely recommend you read. Love the mystery and intrigue with flashbacks to put together some of those puzzle pieces. Faryn is sassy, confident and strong although in a sense she’s vulnerable on the inside which made for this really great in depth character that you love although occasionally want to shake! There’s some very steamy scenes, drama, angst, mystery and a cliff to fall off at the end!

Absaloutly loved this book, was great to have more background on grey and faryn and her story was just brilliant so glad she's got three amazing guys... Well sort of got them. I can't wait to see what Lucy has in store for the next book as of course we know faryn dies at the end of the omega wolf so I'm hoping now everything isn't plain sighted and she gets her happily ever after with her guys definitely a must read 🖤🖤🖤

OMG FARYN!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I was so excited for her story! Specially after the references from the previous books!
Although I have definitely wanted to smack her a couple of times because why don't you just own your emotions like your own everything else your boss woman?!?!!!
And the guys!!!! Funny and moody and nice and broody and EVERYTHING! They're amazingly terrible and can't wait to see them fall apart and being put back together!

I absolutely loved this book!
The Bitten Wolf is Faryn’s story. It was great to get more background of her and her brother Grey. I loved the twists that lead up to Faryn’s “disappearance” and was completely thrown at the ending.
This was an amazing start to a new series and I have to say this is one of my favorite stories from this author.
If you love vampires and shifters then you should definitely check out The Bitten Wolf!

This is my favorite book from Lucy so far, I love everything about this book from the story to the characters, to the differing relationships. I loved all of the different dynamics and layers that the story has because even when I had figured out one thing there was another twist popping up. I almost lost it and threw my phone at the end... the ending was just mean.

Another absolutely freaking amazing story from this author. This is Faryn's story and I am so in love with her and the guys. You first learn about her from the mountain cedar pack series and I was really excited to know we would be getting her story and to learn more about her. So far it really did not disappoint and of course as always exceeded my expectations, which I knew would happen!

3.5 stars: I have not read other books in this universe, so it might be the case where I would have had a better understanding of what is happening if I did. The first few chapters were a bit confusing as I was trying to workout who is who, the clans, the upcoming war and also the FMC's story alongside the shifters.
I think that halfway through I got a grasp on things though at times I did feel like I am missing chinks of information.
A werewolf and vampires, odd combination, but somehow it did mesh well here. A stalker on the loose pushes the main heroin under the protection of one of the clans, but it appears that there is more to it than meets the eye.
I am still a tad confused, but interested enough to see how this evolves, so I will read the next book.

Exciting Read

This book is about the Vampires and Faryn. I absolutely love this story from Faryn's point of view. This is a book that has you hooked from the first page and you don't want to put it down. So many twists and turns and that ending has my mind reeling and I can't wait for the next book.

Intriguing and different

I really enjoyed this read as it’s not like all the other wolf shifter stories I’ve read. It has a mystery behind it that keeps you guessing and wondering. I always love a good paranormal and can’t wait to see where this ends up going in the next book.
