She plans an event at the jelly shop, with Tabby’s approval, to present the tree to the town, but as hard as Gladys tries, she cannot change. She takes credit for everything that’s done, even though the presentation had been a team effort from the beginning.
Gladys’ manufactured glory is stripped away shortly after the get-together begins, however, when a mysterious illness grips the townsfolk. It’s clear that someone sabotaged the event, but who? And why?
Tabby is determined to get to the bottom of the ugly business and fill her shop and the town with holiday cheer once again. Will she be able to solve the crime in time?

The darn book has just added three more authors to my must read list; one wasn't new to me! All of the stories in Christmas-Crime Cozy Collection etc. were excellent. Each of them had enough Christmas to keep me happy, great plots, and of course, great characters.

Christmas-Crime Cozy Mysteries was an enjoyable, easy to read complication of winter who-done-it’s. The characters and settings were believable and enchanting. I’d recommend this book to anyone looking to read a bloodless, non-violent story.
