Pack is everything. Without pack, there is no protection, no home, no family. Abandoned by one and tormented by the other, I tried being alone. I failed.
Now, with a broken past and an uncertain future, I’ve tracked down the one person in the world who ever gave a damn whether I lived or died.
Instead of finding sanctuary, my arrival threatens to destroy the least deserving. Including the shifter who truly sees me as no one has before. Whose amber eyes hold a promise of forever, of love, want, and need. But that future can only happen if this pack survives the devastation I have wrought.
Can I mend what I have ruptured and find my happiness with Luka, a life I never dared to even dream—or will everything crumble around us?
Due to adult language, violence, and steamy scenes this book is recommended for 18+
I’m so glad Luka got his own story and HEA. Eden is running away from everything she knew, hoping to find a home with Kier but not having the faith he’ll forgive her, but when her eyes lock with the Blackshaw beta things go from bad to amazing in a short space of time. Great story and plot, great characters. Loved this story had many characters all coming together, lots of angst, great banter, and some very sweet moments. The love scenes are tasteful and romantic, but not overdone. This pack has provided some amazing reads and this was no exception, highly recommend
This is a great series. If you like Suzanne Wright’s Phoenix and Mercury Pack series, you’ll like this series. After reading seven books, I can say this author is great at giving her characters separate but unique personalities. They don’t feel like caricatures. She allows them room to show us who they are.
Finally we got to Luka’s and brave Eden’s story. Even though Luka is beta of the pack he isn’t domineering. He’s so gentle and non-threatening with Eden when she first makes an appearance, giving her space when it’s clear she’s terrified of other shifters. He picks up on her wariness of men which comes from having escaped her abusive pack and being alone for the last four years. He wins me over with how he quietly inserts himself and humor to be near her. She never stood a chance of escaping his attentions.
Ok I’ve loved Luka since I met him in the first book with talis. He is that calming presence that is everyone safety net. And he finally gets his happy moment. Though he sure had to work for it. And we meet Eden, who was supposed to be dead. And boy does she have some baggage to work through. It’s the perfect match though. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. And with more and more surprises, my mind keeps blowing! And get my heart is so full! Seriously, this whole series is a A+, top notch paranormal romance! I love that each book has a couple, but included the pack and there’s a mystery or issue to solve. Love it!!!
I really could have been happy with this story as the end (I didn’t think I would be). I wanted to see Luka, so different from all the alphas, happy. He deserves it after taking care of everyone. I’m equally happy to hear there’s going to be another one, though. Let’s see what Gavin gets up to.
Start at the beginning and prepare your budget to read….a lot.
This one is super cute. It goes back to how close-knit and friendly the pack is and I loved seeing all of them embrace Eden. I'd definitely read this if I needed a lighthearted book, though their trickage of the neighbor does confuse me a bit because I got kind of lost when they got into town with all the car stuff going on.
I enjoyed how the books came together. Each of the characters had hints in the prior book look so you knew where the new book was going. If was fun learning about the members of the pack and following their story.
Really enjoyed these books liked how the characters carried on though all 7 books and you see how the characters grow . Would recommend them to everyone that like love story's and series
Emotional, suspenseful, entertaining and enjoyable to read, this was a fitting addition to the series. I loved the intelligence that the author gave to the characters. I loved the familial feeling of home as well. Great series.
Couldn’t connect with this book. Just seems a little repeated of the other 6 books.. with this one I wanted to get to know Luka more as hits his book but didn’t learn anything at all. Well written hence the 2 starts
Another good read pulling the stories of the pack together seamlessly... Twins that was a,surprise.... The beter finding love so cool. Can't wait to see what happens next
This one was so sweet. The plot was not overly complicated and was completely realistic for a small town setting and was the perfect story for Eden and Luka.
It ended on a high note! Still I would love to read Nat story. Very nice story for Luka and Eden. Would read other book of the author. I just hope for double pov.
4.5 I have so seriously drank the kool-aid stars. I know I seriously bought in when the main threatening plot point is questionable and I care not at all! This series is just so good.
This book was a good feel book. I am glad Eden found her place. Wish there was more of Luka's interaction and skills being displayed. Good read 📚 👍🏼 👌🏽.
