There are many things which are a part of our lives but once they were just somebody's vision, an idea about the future! Isn't it fascinating or even miraculous that someone could actually tell what the future would be like and also contributed in its creation!

But who is a Visionary? What does it take to be a Visionary? What makes Visionary thinking and how to develop it?

Visionary Thinking by Ashish Jaiswal explains Who is a Visionary and how to become one? This amazing book is one of the most well - researched self help books out there. It is so engaging and gripping due to all the studies/research/mentions of Visionary personalities and their work that you just cannot put it down.

All of the research has been woven so well into the narration to tell a broad story and explain the concept of Visionary thinking. This book is clear, lucid and a perfect book that explores a unique idea which hasn't been talked about much in the world of self - help. You will love the references and the stories, you will love the to the point and step by step approach, you will love the clarity of thought and the very concept of this book.

"Visionaries are thirsty like Sage Agastya who drank an entire ocean"

Visionary Thinking, by Ashish Jaiswal sketches the approach to achieve success. The book is divided into three parts. The author here put forward examples of Elon Musk who is known as visionary. I especially love the part where author describes our life as Canvas, and asks the question whether we are the painters or sketchers of our life. Ashish Jaiswal has put forward an interesting theory where he stated that painters have visionary blindspots whereas sketchers possess visionary gifts and they are also compared with Sage Agastya.

The second part of the book is dedicated to the concepts, techniques and practices that leads to become a visionary. The author gives a ten-year life principle where he states that we are born again after every ten years. This author states that nature presents all of us an opportunity to create new life every ten years. He puts forward the example of the famous Hollywood star, Jessica Alba.
In the third part of the book, the author puts forward some bigger question about inner voice, money, happiness and liberation.

The author had described his ideas about visionary brilliantly. The language is simple and easy to understand. The underlying meaning of various lines will make you reflect upon yourself and your life. The book also contains different illustrations which makes it really enjoyable.

"When a tree grows, no one can fix it's destiny. When it emerges from the soil, it may fix its roots, but for a tree its canvas is the grand sky. When it rises, it spreads its arms trying to achieve its full potential, sketching its path to great heights."

In 2020, I have read fluid, and after that, I was so intrigued to read another book by the same author.

Review: Visionary Thinking by Ashish Jaiswal

It's not a lengthy read just 210 pages but accounts for deep insights which require a good amount of time to reflect on it.

As the title suggests, Visionary thinking; this book delves into philosophical values. It deals with the visualization of the future and past. How things get into shape and what factors allow them to carry forward.

Have we ever dealt with any visionary person? Yes indeed! We have seen numerous examples of visionary sights. In-person to name some, Leonardo da Vinci, Einstein, Galileo, Steve Jobs, Nikola Tesla, and many more given in this book.

What they have done inspires the current and forthcoming generation. Their works and visionary thoughts prevail which has left remarkable values on us.

👉 Through this book, the author has tried to inculcate the "visionary thinking" amongst us. After reading this book, it can be considered as the sowing of vision as to how to work on it.

He has explained a variety of anecdotes through two frames.
1. Painters
2. Sketchers

Though, it's just a frame to design the thought not exactly the meaning of these two words.

Painters always walk on the ready-made path and their density is not already figured where the sketchers are risk-takers and draw their visionary path ahead of any insecurity. They are tuned to do work extensively on the pattern of their visionary thinking.

They are more likely to drive by their inner call instead of rationality and logic. They form a firm belief to reach out goals.

This book is quite challenging to me as I believe in rationality and form my views after this.
In this book, there's a case where the author has challenged Richard Dawkins's rational views which is quite interesting to read and understand the notion behind the author's thought.
I am a bit critical of this book so I think I need to ponder over it more or I just need to reflect on my learnings because it has put me in the dilemma of thought. One provocative and challenging read after a long time.

What is vision and visionary thinking? These terms might come and go in our daily lives as terms tagged to successful leaders or tycoons but are they true visionaries? Is visionary thinking restricted to a particular group of people or is there a higher order of understanding residing in every individual? In our entire human history visionaries have always led humankind into the realm of extraordinary. But it remains a true mystery what makes them different from others. What it really takes to not only construct a powerful vision but the astounding grit to keep that vision alive. Visionary Thinking is a voyage to find answers to the questions that will inspire people to follow their heart and find purpose, guiding them to their inner peace and locating their final destination.

The feeling of describing this book is much harder to explain than reading and understanding each kernel of wisdom laced with unadulterated truth that changed my perception towards life again or rather it added more knowledge to my already altered perception or I could say this book opened another door of insights into life for me. Taking great thinkers of history into consideration and drawing examples from the lives of business tycoons the author has gone one step deeper into understanding the minds behind visionaries.

The craftsmanship of the author in each chapter has filled me with a sense of relief, relief from the jitters and uncertainty. A simplified framework and written in layman's way. It took me very little time to finish this book but I'm still assimilating everything. It's better to be prepared because this book may feel contradictory to some people. A dynamic approach.

I don't read non fiction often but the title of this book seemed so interesting that I decided to pick this book up. A visionary is referred to a person who has vision. Vision, in this case, refers to a blueprint of life or the future. This book mainly aims at exploring the science and art behind visionary thinking. The book is meant to guide, motivate and inspire young minds to carve out a more successful and happier life. This book is a motivational read which explores wisdom in depth. Having a proper vision and goal in life, leading a simple and disciplined life are the key elements towards peace, happiness and success.
The book is divided into three sections - The Sketch and Paint Theory, Visionary Techniques and Bigger Questions, each of which discusses about an important aspect of human life. I loved the first part, the most, where the author talks about Soul, Karma and Inner calling. The book portrays a lot of examples about famous personalities, which makes it even more interesting.

The theme wonderfully chosen. The narration is absolutely engaging and convincing. The language is simple and lucid. This is a fast paced read that provides some insightful life lessons.

This book is one that literally changes one's perspective towards life!
A must read for everyone!

This book is one the finest book I've read in a while. I wish I could decipher this whole book without revealing it's true essence but it is practically impossible.
Honestly I couldn't keep this book down and completed it in just 2 days. It consists of some of the topics you need to be a visionary and consists of real example of some great people.
This not only focuses on the good in great people's life but also focuses on their mistakes, and I loved this thing.

Everyone can definitely relate to some or the other parts included in this book.
It's well researched, perfectly narrated, well written piece.

Each and every chapter in this book focuses on the same theme but brings different content and theories, kudos to the author for writing such a well framed book.
The images used while explaining some theories keep the reader's interested in reading further and help in carving these theories straight on their minds.

The language and narration both are lucid and can be understood by beginners too. No matter what genre you're interested in, you're going to love this one for sure.
It's highly recommended to everyone.

The cover page and the title of the book adequately convey the authors perspective on Visionary thinking. This book is all about the author's well-researched perspective and intention on the visionary which has been driven from the successful visionaries.

In this book, the author puts the most valuable life lessons and the optimistic approach of the visionaries. He has gathered how the visionaries like Elon Musk, Bernard Russell are organizing their life with an optimistic perspective.

In the fast-growing technological world, we have to adapt to newer ways, newer technologies should keep pacing with the newcomers and should bring fresh ideas and prevent getting caught from the visionary blind spot.

The author telescopes at the visionaries to torch the aisle of the successful life to the people. Most importantly in this book, the author has implied how to balance the long term and short term vision with the 10-year life principles and prominent planning strategy.

This self-help book is the GALLERY of the predicted life discourses of the technological world.

Language is moderate. The author's aspect of the world gives a valuable and unputdown read.

Do you feel confused with your life at times? Have you ever thought about the purpose of your life, what you love to do and what are you aspiring to achieve? Does the aim you chose relate to you?

All the above questions are enough to force someone brainstorming, thinking about his life, his future, simply saying his Vision.

Ashish Jaiswal has penned such a wonderful book named Visionary Thinking, and an eye-opener for all those people who are trapped in the above-mentioned questions. The whole book is divided into three parts, the first part has major theories and the lives of some professionals at their work. The second part includes techniques for having visionary thinking. The third part is my favorite. Every simple thing that we find very complex in our life has been simplified.

All the theories, information the author has shared are backed with examples. Overall the book was a fantastic read for me. The language used by the author is lucid. You can choose this book for sure. Happy reading!

Having visionary thinking is something thar not everyone possess, but those who do, their lives are changed in a positive way.
The author has discussed the importance of such thinking in one's life and has mentioned many spiritual aspects as well.
The topic where he had talked about how people carry their karma and their karmic energy in their life and other reincarnation lives as well, was undeniably my favourite part.
There are the example of great people who had visionary thinking and thus we can be inspired from this.
From a poetry by Robert Frost, i have always learnt to be different and not just follow what everyone else is following. This book taught me the same thing and that i was totally right all my life.
This book is really mature and so, unlike other normal non fiction book, it is not suitable for everyone. Only the one who can admire the beauty and importance of visionary thinking can relate and understand this book.

Visionary Thinking is going to be that timeless book that generations read like ‘Think and Grow Rich’.

I have read a lot of self helps and informative books and they all talk about almost one thing, ‘manifestation’ but this book is different.

It has all the theories and studies put together to guide, who are visionaries and how to become one. Right from the first page I knew that this book is worth every penny.

This book will change your perspective the way you look at life and how you set your goals. Every young person should read this book for a better planning and goal setting of future.

I suggest to read this book with breaks as it takes time for the brain to grasp and let the concepts sink in. At least that was the case for me.

This is the book I am gonna come back to, when I need some clarity with life.

A good start for 2022!

Visionary thinking is one of the most inspiring books you will ever read. The author has beautifully (and simply) explained the concept of how to become a visionary through the analogy of paint brush, pencil and a canvas. When you are leading your life (canvas), are you using adaptable pencil or stubborn paintbrush? One of the highlights of the book is the chapter ‘Inner Voice: Oprah Winfrey feels it but Richard Dawkins calls it ‘delusional’, in which author takes us through the inspiring journey of Oprah and questions the rational choice of decision making. And the final chapter on trees will leave you spellbound! This is surely a winner.

Wonderful insights on multiple aspects of your journey. This is not like a usual motivational book with those mundane concepts of goal setting, etc…. This talks much more about the journey and how you end up a visionary even if your contribution is minuscule. It’s not about how much you earn but more about how you add value given the circumstances you are faced with. It also touches bigger questions like reasoning versus initiation, happiness, detachment but at the same time making an impact. Simply loved it, very different from the usual Gyan that you come across

The most timely book that our planet needs right now! When we come across a title like Visionary Thinking, we often assume that it must be a telling tale of visionaries of the world but this book breaks any such myth and redefines what a visionary truly means by challenging the likes of Elon musk and Zukerberg . It provides a hope, inspiration and tools to everyone to practice visionary thinking. Brilliant and must read

The book talks about many visionaries and some of the important incidents of their lives. It is better to explore this stuff by reading it.

The book talks about one more important thing – happiness in reality. When you see someone having enormous amount of resources or is surrounded by wealthy stuff, you need to believe that the person or the segment of the society is happy – but, remember “All that glitters is not gold”.

[Detailed #BookReview is available at: https://thinkerviews.com/books/englis... ]

Not all the books we come across are worth our time. From the books which are worthy our times, some are written for pure entertainment purpose, while some others are meant to be read with proper attention.

Some people try to simply fit within the pre-defined notions of life and try to follow the well-explored path and live a life without much ambitions. For them the ultimate goal of life is living it comfortably. While some others want to make the society a better place, not only for themselves but for a bigger segment of the society or sometimes even for the entire mankind. Such people see the things not existed yet. They can still visualize such things in their imagination and eventually do all they can to give them the body. Such people are rightly called visionary.

When talking about visionaries of current time, the names like Stephen Hawking, Steve Jobs, Elon Musk and others, right?

The book starts with a chapter revolving around Elon Musk and others. Robinson's quest to create a happy world for its inhabitants by making everything they need available, so they don't need to put in any efforts to earn their livelihood. So, they lived happily ever-after? The experiment(s) bring answers to many questions while giving rise to some others.

The author is the right person the decide the boundaries for his/her work. However, I feel that if more incidents and lessons from Steve Jobs’ life has been included, the reader would have enjoyed it even more.

Though, the topic – visionary thinking – may sound abstract at a very first glance, it is unavoidable. Of course, you need to pay attention while reading the book and may need to re-read it more than once to absorb the things even more clearly. Such books are not meant for just time-pass reading.

A phase where concepts like metaverse, virtual reality, augmented reality, and blockchain are gaining popularity and a future where there is a threat to humans getting replaced by robots for many jobs, Do you really think that having a restricted and routine thought process will ever let you grow or achieve the success you desire for?

The world is moving and developing at a very fast pace and it has always been led by great visionaries. Nowadays, we come across so many products and services on a regular basis that we never imagined will exist. But there were always people among us who gave their minds a boundless space to create the unimaginable and unthinkable. Despite being one of the most important elements of this procedural world, Visionary is a concept that is still mysterious to many. The book, ‘Visionary thinkng’ by Ashish Jaiswal, is curated to break down the theory of visionary thinking for the betterment of humankind.

In this book, the author has first explained the essence of visionary thinking, its origination, the science behind it, and its importance. After giving an appropriate intro, he takes us through various techniques and philosophies like the sketch and paint theory, calment canvas, etc, backed up with real-life, practical, and relatable references. There are some bigger questions asked in the book which will help readers in analysing and acknowledging the actual important things in life.

This book is a well-researched guide that helps you in exploring the importance and benefits of being a visionary. It guides you on how you can start your journey of becoming a visionary thinker by giving proper reasoning and answers to all the hows and whys. Everything is presented in a concise manner with utmost clarity and to the point. Not even a single part of this book feels repetitive or extra. Everything makes proper sense.

This book is a must-read for everyone.

"Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others" -Jonathan Swift

The purpose of having vision statements for all areas of your life is not just about getting what you want. It’s also about living a fully engaged and exciting life! Individuals with no vision have much less energy and passion for life. Why? As human beings, we need direction to feel fulfilled, Where there is no vision, people perish. Technically, visions are not goals. Goals are created from visions. A vision is an active and ongoing dream that you are striving to achieve.

This book is divided into three parts: "Sketch & Paint Theory, Visionary Techniques, and Bigger Questions." Don’t expect a clear and well-defined vision overnight. You need to cultivate vision and perspective, and you also need to apply logic and planning for the practical application of your vision. The best vision blossoms from your dreams, hopes, and aspirations.

"Vision without action is merely a dream. Action without vision just passes the time. Vision with action can change the world"- Joel A. Barker

Ashish Jaiswal holds a doctorate and a master’s in the field of education from the University of Oxford. When it Comes to the Canvas of Life, are You a Painter or a Sketcher?
Visionary Thinking by Ashish Jaiswal is a non-fiction read which sketches the approach of how the most influential personality achieved success or what Visionary Thinking helped the person and humankind grow.

The book is divided into three beautiful chapters, The Sketch and Paint Theory, Visionary Techniques, and Bigger Questions. Each chapter decodes the success mantra and how Visionary around the world changing the world with their innovative and out-of-the-box thinking and what makes them being able to achieve that and how we can apply the methods in our life and start thinking big, start thinking Visionary.

The Sketch and Paint Theory chapter was unique and brilliantly researched and written. The author's narration of not only success stories but even in failure, how Visionary has been able to change the world and narrative in a big way. My favorite analogy from this chapter was of Walt Disney and his never-ending grit and passion. It was motivational and gives a boost to achieve your goals and don't settle there and keep growing.

Visionary Techniques chapter contains a detailed description of Calment Canvas and how one can achieve their goals by applying this rule in their life without getting bogged down with the life and age pressure. Adopt fluid thinking, ten-year life principle, and real-life example of how people have achieved to reinvent themselves or have grown themselves in the best version of themselves.

Bigger Question chapters ask the most important questions of human life and its dilemma. How much one should listen to their Inner Voice? Is Money Everything? How much one can chase and achieve happiness? And a journey to liberation.

The author has done a tremendous job with the book and I would recommend everyone to read this book once. The language is pretty lucid. The fast-paced and story-like narration keeps you engaged till the very end. A path to visionary thinking and sketch on your life canvas and reinvent your life and achieve your destination.

We always heard a word "vision". Everyone said "Be visionary in life". But do we really mean what is to be a visionary?
.
Being ambitious in life or serious for you goals is not the actual definition of a visionary person.
.
The book is divided into 3 parts
.
First part is "THE SKETCH & PAINT THEORY". This part described about the real meaning of visionary. It's make you feel the importance & real meaning of visionary with real life examples, incidents, hints & many more. In this part author focused on the lives of Elon Musk, Bertrand Russell & Universe 25. Moving forward author beautifully signifies the meanings of being a painter & sketcher & in the last part author focused on the ultimate challenges of a visionary.
.
After knowing the real meaning of being Visionary the second one is "VISIONARY TECHNIQUES". In this part author focused in how to become visionary with small small steps. It's a complete guide to transform your life into a masterpiece along with ten year life principles, taking steps towards your first visionary tree. It also talks about a life changing moving "The bridge on the River Kwai".
.
Last one is "BIGGER QUESTIONS". It's focusing on the different questions that arises after being a visionary like inner voice, money, happiness & liberation.
.
To know more about it grab the book & give it a try.
👉𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐒 :-
🙂 Cover of the book is good & nicely portrayed with the image of shiv & shakti.
🙂 Writing style of the book is simple informative & adds a new prospective in your life.
🙂 Language used in the book is simple, easily understandable & connecting nicely.
🙂 The narrative style of the book is quite unique & author simply make you understand & make you feel the significance of being a visionary in life.
🙂 The ammount of research author did before writing the book can be easily marked while reading it.
🙂 The book is descriptive not too fast. But once you get connected with it you are not going to put it down.
🙂 The inclusion of images is quite impressive.

I got a book on a very different topic that is related to our life. Visionary by Ashish Jaiswal states about our status of life.
He has explained everything in a very detailed manner.
In short he has explained that in life we have two ways , one is that where our life is set and decided that what has to be done and secondly we are not sure that what we have to do , we are stuck between many alternatives. He explained this by giving the example of Sketch and Painting.
Thus this was my favourite part out of 3 parts.
The book is divided into 3 parts , firstly about the painting and sketch , secondly about visionary techniques and thirdly are about the question that arises daily in our life.
The first part is explained about the theories but the 2nd and third part is very very helpful as author has given ideas to make our vision correct. There are several methods mentioned to improve. The author has taken a lot of example to explain his words and phrases.
In fact there are many true cases mentioned in the book that shows that the author has done so much of research.

The most important thing I got to know is that the author has taken his personal experience into consideration as he gives that example of cafe that he suggested the owner.
And at many places we can see examples from his life.

The language was kept good. The Book has been written in flow so it became easy for the readers to understand each and everything. I learnt many things from the book.
So the book is really highly recommendable.
Thank you
Happy Reading.

Visionary Thinking is one of the brilliant book that I came across till now.
Consisting three different parts, this book enlighten the readers to have a clear and better vision.
Like the title states, Visionary Thinking is a well balanced state of mind where a person can take right decisions, where the actions are undertaken considering every aspect and consequences of future.
In short, Visionary Thinking always leads to a better world..

I was recommended with Author Ashish Jaiswal's book 'Fluid' few years back when I had just started as a reader and that book was a life changer for me.
Till now various books have been added to my Bookshelf but none of them could replace Ashish Jaiswal's writing.
The moment I got 'Visionary Thinking' in my hands, I was sure it will again help me in being a better version.

This book seems to be difficult when we start reading it but the simplicity of writing makes the book easy read. It demands our time but at the end it is worth reading.
With flawless plot and true insights, this is the most engaging read.
The book is mostly suitable for readers who crave for intelligence.

Author has written after a careful research that makes the content genuine and authentic.
After reading this book, I admire the Author even more.
This is self help book in true terms.
The plot will encourage the readers to go on a personal research on the aspects mentioned in the book.
It's indeed one of the best Influencitial book.
Highly recommended to everyone.

After reading his last book, “Fluid", I expected nothing less from the author. In his previous book, he pushes his reader to think outside the box, and in this one, he makes his readers ask bigger questions and think like a visionary. Though he provides real-life examples from many big shots in different fields, he emphasizes that anyone with the right set of mind and a clear idea of how to live their life can be a visionary.
.
It is an unusually inspiring book that kept me engaged from beginning to end. The book is divided into three sections;
The Sketch and Paint Theory (very unique way to categorize people into two sets),
Visionary Techniques, and
Bigger Questions.
.
All of the three sections are informative, and intriguing with examples of interesting people and their experiences. While I was and still am very much invested in the last section 'Bigger questions'.
.
What are the bigger questions? What drives you to do what you do? Money? Happiness? Peace?
.
Your long-term goals can be different than my goals. In no way, does it undermine my dreams. We are individuals with different mindsets and priorities but motivated to achieve the same peace of mind and contentment in the end.

But how do we make sure that it's the right vision for us? How do we check you and I are on the correct path? How can I be sure that the choices I make today will be fruitful tomorrow? If you are bothered by such questions, I suggest you give this book a chance to push yourself in the right direction.

t's a non fictional genre basically it dealt with the shaping one's thinking. The Author has delivered this entire book in three folds. The first part dealt with the sketch and paint Theory. Second part dealt with the visionary Techniques and next and last part dealt with the Big questions. It's entirely different read. Visionary thinkers are the one with strong vision of the future it may be sometimes or aren't always accurate. It may work brilliantly or simply fail. The author has beautifully concluded the philosophy of different personalities like Mark Zuckerberg, Bertrand Russell, Elon Musk.

This book has been divided into three major parts
• The Sketch And Paint Theory
• Visionary Techniques
• Bigger Questions

In the first part of the book author confers on many known ones he points out famous names like great Visionary Elon Musk, renowned mathematician philosopher Bertrand Russell and he gives a theory of universe 25.
I mean what he explains is not everyone's cup of tea , it requires a deep knowledge to understand it's seriousness for the time , he reveals how human or any other breed would behave even if they are taken to their own paradise. His sketch and paint theories are all about cavernous meanings and all famous and visionary people.

In visionary techniques he talks about 'what if?'
He delivers every what if and answers it and leaves something for us to think.
If someone ask from me about this masterpiece i would recommend only to those who are fan of deep sentences , visionaries and ideas , principles which never came into light , ideas that still are in dark and need to emerge.

This book is not for everyone or anyone who is looking for procastination of their time , this is for those who really want to make use of every bit of it, and i am not going to leave this book anyfar , everytime i see it gives an vibe to read again and again.
I would like to thank author mr.Ashish Jaiswal for writing such an inspirational and mind-blowing book for the reader like me, who always carves into library for such type of books.

If there is one quality that separates a good manager from a great leader, it can be summed up in a single word, which is vision.

A visionary leader is someone who has the ability to think forward, who effectively communicates a collective sense of purpose, and inspires confidence amongst those surrounding them.

Primarily divided into three different parts, ‘Visionary Thinking’ by author Ashish Jaiswal does put forth the different ideologies pertaining to visionaries as well as giving us real life examples of people who share this trait as well as the measures that are important or rather necessary to take matters in our own hand and be the one to shape our life in a way that we want.

The book shows us how the ability to craft and communicate a compelling vision is a necessary tool for anyone who wants to be successful.

Also, the author has done an excellent job of listing out the necessary keys that are important to craft a vision and how, like any other core competencies, the ability to envision can be developed.

Visionary Thinkers are bold and prophetic, and at the same time pragmatic as well. They are the people who do not promote change, but they are the ones who lead it. And these are their qualities which instantly makes us realize they are indeed a visionary leader when we see one. Hence, this book indeed does provide a guidance to all those who are interested in the same. Hence I am going to give this FIVE VISION STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐

BOOK- Visionary Thinking
AUTHOR- Ashish Jaiswal
LENGTH-233 PAGES
RATING- 4.6/5

Have been hearing a lot about the book "Fluid" and then this bestseller came "Visionary Thinking"!
So, I had to read this new one.
And hence I did!

I just bought it without thinking twice and trust me I don't regret it now.
The way Author Ashish Jaiswal has crafted or say created this book by merging the knowledge with the right examples, this books becomes truly interesting.
But what i have realised that, one should have a deeper knowledge about the things to understand the book thoroughly.

This is not something that you would just pick and read for passing your time.
This book needs patience, understand and that deep thinking.
Hence I would not whole-ly reccomend this book to the beginners. But yes, if someone wants to try it. He/ She can! That will also be some different experience.

The book is basically divided into three parts and those three parts were the best parts of my life, trust me.
The author talks about various visionaries such as Elon Musk, Satyajit Ray, Oprah Winfrey and what they think about life and you'll be surprised to read it.

The book not only is focused on being perfect but also to go beyond perfect and more than that.
The book tells the difference between the Painter and the Sketcher.

I would recommend this book to the people who are interested in reading something deep and interesting who are ready to change their life, instead of just pracastinating.
