After Beth’s car accident, the truth came out about why she pushed Jacob out of her life and she realized she made a terrible mistake. Jacob declared his love, Beth agreed to date, but this relationship has to be on her terms.
Beth witnessed Jacob’s bad side first-hand while working for him and trust needs to be rebuilt. Add to that the pressure of paparazzi, and she’s understandably gun-shy.
Jacob told Beth he loves her, but her feelings are still a mystery. Building a relationship requires something he’s never been good at—patience. Can he give her the time she needs to see he has changed, or will he push too hard for those three little words and drive her away?
Loved is the fourth book exploring Beth and Jacob’s relationship with all its joys, flaws, and heartache.
Contemporary Romance saga. This story is intended for readers over the age of 18 due to adult language, sexual content, and adult situations.
*SAME REVIEW FOR ALL FOUR BOOOKS* This box set has 4 out of the 5 books in this series. Overall I did enjoy the storyline and the two main characters, although I felt like it was almost too much up and down struggles at times. The writing style really frustrated me at times, but I considered myself “invested” in the story, so I stuck it out. I wish this would have had the last book included so I could see how the characters ended up after watching so much drama unfold over the years in these 4 books. Outside of this series, I haven’t read anything else by this author to see if the writing style carries over. I will eventually read the last installment once it’s released since I did mention I was invested. I purchased this while it was on sale so it was worth it for me, but I doubt I would pay full price for it if I’m being honest.
I got the first book in the series and it was good. Got to the second and was frustrated. Book three the same. Book four is more of the same and so swear to all that is holy - if Beth doesn’t pull her head out soon, (I read book 4 of the Series not the fourth of this (Jacob and Beth series) I am going to scream.
Why did we need 2, 3, and 4 to watch them fight and Beth run away time and time again?
I’m continuing although I truly hate series that have cliff hangers. I avoid them like the plague.
The series is good but this little mini series is driving me crazy. Can’t we do it in less books?
You know, I read the intro to this series in 2012/2013, but I was discouraged to read the series because I saw it’s going be at least three books. Well, this is the fourth book and there’s still no resolution. It is very annoying. Nothing happened here. More of the same. ‘I do, I don’t, maybe’ from Beth’s angle. Don’t even get me started about the grammatical errors, and POV mix ups. It was pervasive in all the books. With the cost of these books, an editor would have helped too.
Ok first the books are getting shorter and the price higher- that is a bit difficult for me to stomach. But I couldn't wait to continue to read about Beth and Jacob. Beth seems to be getting herself back on track since losing her mom to cancer. Jacob has decided to see a therapist to help himself be a better person. Beth is very difficult with Jacob which is painful, I still can't figure out why she is so closed off to him knowing what she knows. It feels like there is some big dark secret we don't know in 4 books but probably not. I feel for Jacob thru this story because he loves her and has proclaimed his love. By the end of the book you just hope for happiness for both and she still seems to be pulling away. I cannot wait for book 5 which I cant find a date for or title. I want a happy ending
