I couldn’t stop reading, the mystery kept getting deeper and the suspense was making me turn every page faster and faster. The characters were so well-written that I could feel them come to life, especially the villain. His past is so dark and disturbing and the way he taunts and challenges Akil makes every scene memorable. I really enjoyed the story, the writing is effortless and natural, the characterization is apt and interesting and the dialogue vivid and realistic. If you want bold, deranged villains and deep, intricate mysteries, then you have to read this.
Real cool intriguing mystery. Kept me guessing till the end. The antagonist was pretty distinct. Thrilling plot, especially the second half of the book. The reasons behind the abductions were original but I’d like to add, they were only solved for Malaysia. I would have liked to know more about the crimes happening outside Malaysia, more details instead of hints. But it was a good mystery and I like that the hero is from my country.
