Greatly enjoyed this book about a woman who has returned to her former home in Vegas to care for her dying father. Kara and her mother left the city years ago just after she had her teenage heart broken by her high school sweetheart, Luca Arkady. She is working as a nurse at a local hospital when two men are brought in, one with a gunshot wound and one with stab wounds, both apparently from the same fight. The gunshot victim is Max Fedorov, gambler and playboy. The second man is Luca.

So begins an unusual dating game as Max and Luca vie to win Kara's affections. Unbeknownst to her, both men are bear shifters. The Council of shifters elders does not like the turf war between Yhukal clan and Max's Mukchi clan. They decree that the two men must mate with the same woman and whichever one she has a child with will become the leader of both clans. The two clan shamans will pick the female and she will think she was matched on a dating app with two men. What could go wrong?

Lots more to the story that I won't spoil for you. The past will play a part, as will Kara's attraction to both men. I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

Max is from one side of town and Luca the other until one night Max goes to the casino in Luca’s part of town. The Yhukal and Mukchi have battled for hundreds of years. Max remains mostly inhuman form but Luca likes to run wild in bear form. Max gets shot just after winning the casino and Luca is also hurt. Kara treats Max and Dana another nurse treats Luca for stab wounds. Kara has come home to look after her father who I’d dying from cancer. The elder council decide that the two pack leaders must mate the same female and the first to get her pregnant will take all. Kara is contacted by a dating agency and told they have matched her to two males. She goes on a date first with Max then Luca. Luca and Kara have history as he was her old boyfriend until he cheated on her. Her and her mother left town. She has a son but while she is at college her mother looks after him and he starts to call her mother. The three get together and Levi finds out who his father is. I’m not going to spoil the rest only to say it’s an entertaining read

Vegas is the back drop for a war between bear clans. After a battle between the opposing Alphas, Max and Luca, they end up in the emergency room where Kara is working. She is drawn to Max and she has a painful past with Luca that drove her out of town years ago. Relationships will form, secrets will be revealed and an edict from the elders will need to be followed. It is a rocky path towards a HEA but they eventually get there. I liked Kara's character. She had to deal with so much and she did what she needed to do for her family and for herself. Max and Luca were totally different from one another. Both had some positive and some negative characteristics in their personalities which had me alternating between which one I liked the most.

Well I don't really think this is much of a menage, more of a fight for the right between the two Alphas and the one woman they want.
But she is not willing to choose, so they will have to accept it, or will they....
It was interesting in the way her father hid himself just to protect her, he went to such extremes where in the end she used that to her advantage.
She was a lot tougher than anyone thought she was, including herself.
A well written story that kept me interested with it's different twist on things never knowing what was come around the corner.

At first I was like OK another RH book...but this one is a bit different. Some tense moments, a lovers reunion, a new lover, secrets taken, secrets learned, old rival tribes, new respect is earned, a truce is forged and a new chief is named and an old tribe is made new.
I can't really say much because it would give it all away! It's a great weekend read.... perfect for the lowering temps outside - grab a blanket, a hot drink, and enjoy!
I received this book as an ARC from the authors in exchange for my honest review....hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Looking forward to this new series!

Good enough...

It's a decent enough book but I have to say I've never quite so intensely disliked a character as I dislike Max... honestly not sure he redeemed himself in any way. But I've read worse books, with even more abrupt endings and dangling plot threads, so I give it a middle of the road rating. The book is entertaining enough for a single read through but I probably won't re-read it.

horrible, stilted, boring

This is a MFM shifter romance, the first in a series. My eyeballs are hurting from rolling my eyes so often trying to push myself through this book. I love paranormal romance stories and I am learning to like multiple mate stories but this one was too ridiculous! You have yourself a case of weak female with twice the toxic masculinity. The author spent most of the time explaining stuff but not showing it which ends up with a boring narrative.

Wow.
Moving home to help take care of her I’ll father. Running into her ex, rekindling a romance with the ex and then his hot rival enters the picture. Can she choose, does she have to choose… This book is well written with strong hot characters, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Recommend reading.

This was the first book I ever read by Mia Wolf and I have to say wow she knows how to make a first impression. I enjoyed reading about Kara, Max, and Luca they were an interesting relationship. I honestly never saw it working out but I'm glad it did and I loved every minute of this story. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

Moving back to your hometown to take care of your ill father is tough, especially when your first love is still there...add in a possible new love and a long-term feud between them, and you have chaos!  Great story.

Excellent paranormal romance with two male alphas fighting for the others territory. Suddenly, they’re both found that one woman is both their mate. The male characters are opposites which adds to their uniqueness. I received a free copy of this book and chose to write a review.

Double Alphas

Well this was interesting.... As with the other two books in the series, the story was different than I expected. All the stories were interesting, had great characters, the events were believeable and the shifters were hot and hunky.

Kara Max and Luca went through much

This was more than just a ménage romance. This was a second chance romance and father son reconnection this was two enemies finding common ground. This was and ancient clan finding a place on today’s world.

Unexpected Ending

I liked this story more than I expected. It holds your interest, has plenty of love, lust, suspense and of course, sex. But just when you think you know what happens, you’re so far off base. You just have to read this book to see for yourself!
