Titled after his 1980s hit single, the book will cover 35 years of Tippa's prestigious career: from the first sign of talent as a child in South London and family members encouraging him to enter local talent competitions, to making his first record and becoming the powerhouse and Reggae-scene legend he is now.

It's a story full of dreams, music and hope but also the deep traumas and tribulations that Tippa experienced throughout his life, and how music helped him to move forward.

I got this book as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago and decided to give it a go.

Tippa is an interesting person with an interesting musical journey through time. He seems like a genuine and kind person. I had no idea how international his music is.

It was so sad to read what happened to his sister. May she rest in eternal peace.

This was an easy and quick read. I found myself skipping the lyrics though but I plan to go back through these and play the tunes😊

Stick to my roots is Tippa’s story.
I enjoyed it, easy to read and Tippa comes across as a genuine fella.
Many of his south London haunts I know well so this was a nice accurate account of those areas and times.
