After leaping 12 years into his past, Takemichi has now fallen in with two leaders of the Toman gang, Mikey and Draken. He’s failed to avoid an encounter with the opposing Moebius gang, and a Toman member ends up in jail for assault! A schism splits Toman, with Mikey on one side and Draken on the other. Takemichi mediates between them, but not everybody gets the message, and the festival night of August 3rd is set as the day Draken dies! Will Takemichi be able to save Draken’s life when he doesn’t even know who wields the knife?
I love everything about this series. Even though these middle schoolers are basically grown-ass men getting into grown-ass trouble, I can't help but love the concept as well as the characters. Takemichi makes a great protagonist alongside Mikey and Drakken. This might be one of the few manga series I'll actually buy instead of borrow from the library.
It was very interesting, and I loved the battle scene between Toman and Moebius, but the ending was a little disappointing, it all just happened so fast.
I’m so pissed right now. All of that and Hina still died? And Akkun?!!! What the hell!
So this whole book series is about trying to rewrite the future and so far so good. The fact that I legit was scared when Draken got stabbed I was legit near tears but thank the heavens he survives!! Then we see Hina years later because Takemichi changed the future and then to find out they’re still so in love with each other made me so freaking happy. Then Hanma the reason the fight went down this time and Draken was stabbed, finds Takemichi in the future and Hina and has Akkun (one his minions now) kill Hina. Takemichi had to watch her burn after bleeding out. Now he’s determined to change the future… again. And now he states that he’s gonna be the top guy in Toman.. This series is seriously stirring too many emotions in me.

I have to give credit where credit is due: Takemichi is one determined and persevering dude. I feel so bad for Akkun, the guy seems to not be able to catch a break and Hina is such a sweetie, she must be getting whiplash every time Takemichi goes back to the present wondering why her boyfriend acts so different. So many cool fighting scenes and the tension with wondering what's going to happen and what changes in the future.
I liked this second batch even more then the first one. Our characters are getting fleshed out more, and I really like what the story is doing with the main character. Having a weak MC, who is trying his best, while also completely aware of his faults, is a nice change of pace from the usual "strength = character growth"
Our ending was so... explosive... that I am really annoyed the library doesn't have the next volume yet.
Having stopped and started this series, I was excited to jump back into this one and boy it hurt my feelings.
Every time I think we’re one step closer to saving everyone and then the BIGGEST spanner in the works ruins it for Takemichi. Poor guy has been through the wars at this point. I highly admire his dedication and determination but I am constantly fearing for him.
I didn't think that this book of time travel and changing the past would enthrall me as much as it has. Loving every minute of it and find myself making time to read it. This set Takemichi is attempting to stop the falling out of Draken and Mikey and save Draken's life, he succeeds. However, everything is not perfect in the present and Takemichi must vow to fix it further.

Every time the time travel mechanic is brought up I wanna be like “wow this is pretty dumb” but everything else is so compelling and great that I don’t care. Also I like getting to go back to the present and see how things have changed. It’s fun. Love these delinquent dudes.
It was pretty good. I was not a fan of how it seemed to solve a problem but then immediately presented a new one. I think it could have been better if they had avoided all the complications and instead let them have one thing that goes right.
The first omnibus volume was good, but with this one I am absolutely hooked. Time travel. The lives of juvenile delinquents and street gangs all come together.
I’ve got the next two on the shelf ready to go, and two more arriving tomorrow.
