Nestled in the tranquil rural landscape near London, I'm a British author whose journey from the world of accounting to the realm of writing has been nothing short of transformative. While I occasionally revisit my numbers-oriented past, my days are predominantly filled with the harmonious dance between crafting compelling narratives and tending to my cherished family—my husband, two children, and a lively household of four cats and one dog
.
In those rare leisure moments, you'll find me lost in the enchanting world of poetry, delighting in the creation (and indulgence) of decadent cakes or fervently capturing moments through the lens of my camera.

Writing emerged as my beacon of hope in navigating the labyrinth of depression and anxiety. My insatiable love for literature and the boundless horizon of travel infuses my tales with the rich tapestry of my adventures. I strive to breathe life into my stories with an air of authenticity that resonates with readers.

Within the pages of my books, you'll encounter heroes exuding charisma and rugged allure, heroines embodying both grace and tenacity, all enveloped in the cloak of dramatic suspense.

(audiobook) I felt the writing wasn’t good enough to reconcile the very basic romance that wouldn’t exist without instalove–they barely speak to each other before they decide they’re it for each other–and the heavier topics that are treated with respect.

It might seem a bit too convenient, but both main characters experience the tragedy of a loved one’s addiction, and the consequences. While her mother’s addiction makes Zoey’s life miserable, and forces her to accept an odd job–following a rock band closely during a tour–the death of his sister because of her addiction had a huge impact on Tate’s life and somehow lead to the creation of his band.

Most of this plot element revolves around Zoey and Tate learning to deal with those tragedies, in very different ways. And besides the romance, it’s the most important element. It defines the characters–the way Zoey manages her mother says a lot about her strength and resilience, and the decisions Tate makes because of his sister’s death redefine who he is as a celebrity. I really enjoyed this part of the story.

The romance, not so much. Tate forgets his playboy ways as soon as he sees Zoey–yeah right. And then, he doesn’t have to do much before the inexperienced Zoey falls into bed with him. A minute later, they swear they’ll love each other forever. Okay, maybe I exagerate, but it isn’t far off. I couldn’t buy it, to be honest.

Not the case for the other characters, though. It seemed like Tate’s whole band guessed his feelings for Zoey right away. As for the characters themselves, I wasn’t impressed. They weren’t shown in a favorable light, what with having orgies in front of Zoey and not caring much about people. The fact that they follow Tate in his generous endeavours barely redeems them.

The narration wasn’t bad, though I wasn’t a fan of the voices the narrators did for the opposite sex. But they conveyed the feelings quite well, and offered a little something more to a just decent book.

Quickie

- Series: Saving Tate #1 (can be read as a standalone)
- Hashtags: #rockstar romance #celebrity romance #forbidden romance #workplace romance
- Triggers: addiction, drug abuse, death, suicide attempt
- Main couple: Zoey Danson & Tate Gordon
- Hotness: 3/5
- Romance: 3/5
- + I loved the talk about celebrities’ responsibilities
- – way too instalove for me

'Sing With Me' is just a beautiful read it's one of those rock star romance stories that gives you the WOW factor while being emotional at the same time - I just loved it and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

'No matter what you look like on the outside, be confident the person on the inside is beautiful'

The story does deal with a couple of heart breaking issues - for Tate the lead singer for the group 'Saving Tate' it was the sudden death of his older sister when he was 15 and for Zoey it was caring for her alcoholic mother; all Zoey wants to do is travel; see other places but that isn't possible or wasn't until she is offered a promotion by her boss who produces Saving Tate to go on their world tour as their Publicist. With enough money up front Zoey is able to get someone to check on her mom and pay all the bills up front.

Tate and Zoey clash on day one - Tate sees the darkness behind Zoey's eyes and knows there is more to this girl than meets the eye and although their is an instant attraction Tate spends his time doing what he can to get Zoey of the tour bus. But she is a tough cookie and the rest of the band fall in love with her. However, being stuck on a bus travel over the states and Europe the two get to spend time together and that is where this book really blooms. Zoey can see the pain behind Tate's eyes and she just hopes she is the one that can finally take away that pain.

I loved the 'Pretty Woman' piece. I love the banter between the band. They are a bunch of rowdy man whores but you cannot but love them as they all do have a heart of gold. Can't wait for Liams story up next!

Well done Anna Edwards I do believe you have a wining series on your hands!

Tate and Zoey…Survivors

Tate is the lead singer for Saving Tate and Zoey has just gotten a job promotion to be Saving Tate’s publicist and boy do they clash on their first meeting. Tate was the bad boy rock star and Zoey was living a life with Goodwill clothing and hoping the electricity wouldn’t be shut off. The storyline between these two was intense, sweet, and romantic all with the rock star flare.

Tate lost a sister and Zoey is dealing with her alcoholic mother. This author wasn’t afraid to touch on such emotional events that come with addictions. The lasting effects on the survivors were brought to the forefront.

The interaction with the rest of the band was great for some much needed humor along the way. This band also lived by the rule of no drugs allowed within them. Yes, they all seemed too good to be true at times but during these times it was nice to be taken away to this type of storyline. With that said it still had that rock star flare that made me love them all. I would love to read more on the guys from Saving Tate.

This is a lighter story when it comes to Anna Edwards, and I really enjoyed it.

I thought that Zoey was really brave and really strong. She's been through some stuff, and yet she manages to come out through it and be positive. I really respect that in a person, because it's not easy to do. She had to grow up early and hard, which isn't ever easy for anyone, and yet, I think she came out of it without too much damage, which isn't always easy.

I think that Tate is a good man. He wants to take care of everything, I think. He feels very deeply, and that can be hard too. He has broken areas, but they make him a better man, I think.

I can't wait for the second book, it' going to be good, I think.

Not a bad rock star romance

This is a sweet romance between a rockstar and a down on her luck woman in charge of "babysitting" the stars on tour. For the most part it's insta love and had a deeper plot in the background. I appreciate the author didn't do a ton of miscommunication plots.
Overall if you like rockstar romance this is a pretty good choice

What an amazing rockstar story that has it all and will pull at your heartstrings and feel for these characters as they fight their pasts and secrets.

Zoey and Tate have instant chemistry and they are some what intense as they heal each other. It's not an easy tour but I love the characters and it's so good you don't even realize your coming to the end.

Sweet, Sassy, & Humorous!

The Electric Company just cut off Zoey's lights because her mom stole the money to buy more whiskey. She's a raging alcoholic, but the reason why is heartbreaking.

Zoey is down to her last three dollars when her boss assigns her to be the publicist to the successful band, SAVING TATE. Zoey is thrilled that her money problems are now coming to an end, Tate Gordon, the lead singer of the band, not so much!

I almost fell off my bed, when Leo Nash of the band NASH, shows up in the story. Now I have to block off time to re-read PLAY WITH ME & ROCK WITH ME.

Really cute story!

This is different from anything I've read from Anna Edwards and it was great.

Sing With Me follows the band Saving Tate on their tour where they are in need of a publicist, to keep them in check and to ensure any publicity is good.

Lead singer Tate Gordon and newly appointed publicist Zoey Danson come from two totally different backgrounds but have more in common than they think. That commonality between them is what helps them to help each other and what could also be the start of something special.

I loved these characters. The banter between the band and Zoey was really fun to read. The loyalty and support between the boys. The emotion and love that's shown throughout this story is one of the main reasons I loved it.

Sing With Me by Anna Edwards is part of the With Me In Seattle Universe but also the start of a new series by the author following the band Saving Tate.
I'm looking forward to the next in this new series and Liam's story.

Tate and his band are rising stars in the musical industry but he is still dealing with the demons of his painful past so when Zoey is hired to not only keep the band on schedule but to keep them on the straight and narrow he is less than impressed.

Zoey has been burdened with heavy responsibilities way before she should have had to. The opportunity to tour with Tate and is band is not only a financial reprieve but an emotional reprieve as well.

From their first meeting the antagonism between them is at the forefront but as they truly to get to know each and connect on a much deeper level the sparks fly but overcoming their pasts may be the biggest challenge of all.

The interactions between Zoey and Tate are both humorous and heated and the secondary characters really add to the story.

Sing With Me is book one in a new series from Anna Edwards and I'm so happy I received an ARC copy of it because I absolutely loved it! I love this style of writing from Anna, which is quite different from her BDSM and PNR series and shows how talented she is! This book gives us Zoey, a down on her luck publicist, and Tate, front man for the band, Saving Tate. Zoey has been looking after her mom for as long as she can remember. Her mom can't seem to get her crap together, an alcoholic and all-around screw up who brings Zoey down constantly no matter what she does to try and keep them afloat. Tate has suffered some heartache in his life but has persevered and become the front man for the successful band, Saving Tate. They're about to go on a world tour and their manager decides they need a babysitter in the form of a publicist - Zoey. I love how, at first, Zoey and Tate really dislike each other but on the inside were fighting their attraction to each other and how Tate did not play any games once they gave into their attraction. It wasn't one of those books where they were back and forth about their relationship and that was refreshing. I enjoyed the banter between Zoey and all the band mates and loved the sneak peek into book two! Cannot wait for more of this band!

Rock star romance with heart, heat, and passion. Tate and Zoey have instant chemistry and their pull is undeniable. But they both have demons they're trying to get past or forget and their depths give the story so much heart. It's a full length novel but the way the story flows, I didn't even notice I was reaching the end until I got there. I was engrossed in it.

I really liked Tate and Zoey's story. I found these two quite lovable and very sweet together. These are characters that complex, and I enjoyed getting to know them and exploring all those newly revealed levels. The story itself offers offered an enticing combination of fun and deeply emotional. A stellar cast of secondary characters provides plenty of intriguing opportunities for future books that I look forward to reading. I am posting an unbiased, unsolicited review.

This is my first time reading anything from this author, and I really enjoyed this book, and look forward to reading more. This is the story of Tate, and Zoey, when their paths cross on Tate's bands bus, sparks fly. This was a great read, the characters are well written, and have explosive chemistry. This was intense, gritty, emotional, raw, dramatic, and steamy.

Sing
Saving Tate: Rockstar Romance, Book 1
By: Anna Edwards
Narrated by: Allie Martina, Gideon Frost

I am a huge fan of the “Rockstar” romance trope and love all kinds of rock stars, from the angsty, dark and dirty ones to the sweet and caring ones, and this book fits the bill by falling somewhere in between with some swoon worthy rock stars who have a lot of heart and personality. Anna Edwards is a gifted author with a wonderful writing style, I am not sure how and I am embarrassed to admit this, but this is my first book by her, but it definitely will not be my last, I am looking forward to checking out more of her work. The story she created is original, with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. Her characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they are easy to fall for and care about too. Tate Gordon, the lead singer of Saving Tate and with his bandmates and close friends, Liam, Austin and Cameron, are about to head out on their first world tour. Their record company thought it would be a great idea for them to have their own publicist go out on tour with them, maintain a positive image for the public and to keep them out of trouble. Zoey Danson is up and coming in the record industry and when offered the job to go on tour with the band, she knew it was a great opportunity, one that can make her career excel. Except Zoey has a lot of home issues and skeletons in her closet, her home life is not the best but she is also in need of the funds the new position would bring. She accepts the job and figures out a way to manage things on the home front while away. Hearing this new development did not exactly thrill the band, having to have her on their bus to babysit them and keep them in line. But when the band meets her, all but Tate is on board with her touring with them and staying on their bus. Tate does not hide his dislike for her, but she will let no one ruin this chance to prove herself and she gives back whatever he doles out. Tate recognizes something in her, something he knows deeply, darkness and hurt, he also feels a connection and is drawn to her. I loved how Zoey handled the band from the moment they first met and how she handled Tate too. She felt that intense attraction to him and when he warmed up to her, there was definitely music between them. He can see she is dealing with something, but he hides his own inner demons until he is ready to share. I loved how everything played out in the book, it is a beautifully plotted the story with plenty of drama, heartfelt emotions, a touch of angst, some fun times and some hot loving and romance. Anna Edwards, thank you for this great story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Anna Edwards could not have chosen a better cast to bring her characters and story to life. Allie Martina and Gideon Frost are superbly talented narrators and versatile voice artists. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, gave each a voice that fit the character’s persona, were believable in every role they played and sounding just as I pictured the characters would sound. Allie Martina took Zoey’s role and ran with it and made it her own, she grasped her every emotion and had you feeling every single one. Gideon Frost did the same for Tate, both were great performing the roles of the secondary characters as well. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their narration enhances an already great story to another level. Thank you for another amazing listen, you absolutely rocked it!!

Sing by Anna Edwards is the first book in her new series Saving Tate: Rockstar Romance. If you have read Band, her free prequel, then you will have met the members of Saving Tate. We start with the charismatic lead singer Tate Gordon as the band embark on their first worldwide tour and Zoey Danson, the publicist sent to look after them. This is an emotional and heart breaking love story as they face their pasts and open up about their secrets. It is also full of some very funny moments and great characters. A well written rockstar story full of love, loyalty and friendship.
The author starts with a heart breaking prologue about a tragic event that happened to Tate when he was fifteen. As a coping mechanism he has buried the memories deep inside and never really dealt with the aftermath of what happened. Then we meet Zoey who has had a hard childhood and experienced things you shouldn’t have to cope with growing up. Her home life is still difficult but she works hard to pay the bills. She has to live a very fugal life and gets work suits from Goodwill. She has always dreamed of a different life and can’t believe her luck when she is given the job of Publicist for Saving Tate. She has never left her home town so the chance to travel is very exciting for her.
Things don’t go as she hoped as firstly she is stuck on the tour bus with four very sexy rockstars and secondly the lead singer takes an instant dislike to her and causes problems for her as doesn’t want a babysitter. It also doesn’t help that he is extremely handsome and she is attracted to him. She is determined to do a good job as she needs the money. She manages to stand up to him and gain the support of the rest of the band.
Tate also struggles with his attraction towards her and feels she is like a whirlwind in his life. She entered the tour bus and everything changed. He knows they come from two totally different worlds but he is drawn to her and their chemistry palpable. She is terrified of her feelings towards Tate because she loves the job and is growing as a person. Her first thoughts are always on keeping the band behaving and their public image in tact. They have far more in common than either of them knows and maybe together they can overcome their pasts. The past holds such power over them and has led to a darkness inside which connects them.
The author introduces us to the rest of the band and leaves us wanting more about them. They are all so interesting and the dynamics between them due to being lifelong best friends added an extra depth to them all. They have a great camaraderie and their banter is hilarious. I can’t wait for the next book as Liam has so much personality and is the real joker of the band. Tate’s songs have really good lyrics which show his feelings more than he can say and one song leads to a very moving ending. I thoroughly recommend this book which is a great start to a very promising series.

OH MY GOSH!!!!! I love love love this book. I was captivated from the moment I started reading. Tate and Zoey drew me and I couldn’t have fallen more in love with characters. I also loved the rest of the band. Liam was funny and Cameron was a great friend as was Austin. Who am I kidding, they are all a great bunch of men.

This book was so fun and flirty. There isn’t a lot of drama but it is still engaging and keeps you drawn in. Zoey’s home life is not great. She finds herself being the parent and taking of her alcoholic mother. She is struggling to stay afloat and pay the bills. She buys her clothes at goodwill but still has that inner confidence, even though her outer appearance isn’t confident. Then, her boss gives her the job of a lifetime she jumps on it. It is everything she needs at the moment.

Tate had a great life until at fifteen he sees something he shouldn’t. Music is his escape. His parents are in denial and Tate shoves it down and tries not to think about it until he must. He has great bandmates that know his situation and have been there by his side. They formed a garage band in their teens. Now they are getting ready to embark on a three-month tour. Now they need a personal assistant *coughs* *babysitter* to give good headlines. To keep everything bad out of the press.

This book, I loved it. The chemistry between the two of them is great. He wants to be her support and strength. Zoey wants to keep things professional. She doesn’t want to cross any lines no matter how attracted she is to each other. I loved the bandmates as well. They each have a special bond with Zoey. They joke and play. Then when she needs the love and support of all of them she gets it.

Will Zoey throw caution to the wind? Will she keep her distance and do what is supposed to do?

I loved this book. I can’t say that enough. I can’t wait for the next installment. I am on pins and needles for it.

Sing With Me (With Me In Seattle Universe) by Anna Edwards was a great 5 star read.
We start with a glimpse into Tate’s past and jump ahead a few years to him being a singer in a very popular band.

Zoey’s home life is terrible, she has an alcoholic mother who does nothing to help her. She struggles to pay the bills and shops at Goodwill for her clothes. She ends up getting a great opportunity with her job, go on tour with Saving Tate and babysit them. On top of that she has to share the tour bus with the band. And let's just say things get very interesting. And when the guys get a secret out of her, they are intrigued even more, especially Tate.

Tate can see something in Zoey’s eyes that he connects with. There is something about her that pulls him in. Will they be able to keep a distance and leave things professional?

No matter what you look like on the outside, be confident the person on the inside is beautiful.

Overall I loved this book. The band members were great and I loved how open they were especially with Zoey. Who wouldn’t want to be stuck on a bus with hot band members? If you're looking for a great Rockstar read, I highly suggest this book. I can’t wait to read more from this series. 1-click and get started today.

Sing
Saving Tate: Rockstar Romance, Book 1
By: Anna Edwards
Narrated by: Allie Martina, Gideon Frost

Tate's band is on the verge of greatness, and to keep them on track, a publicist is hired to babysit them. Yes, you heard that right, Zoey is going on tour with the band to keep them in line, doing something stupid and derailing their success. She is wary about going, not because she can't handle the job, but because her mom needs her. But the money will help, and the experience will be priceless. Tate doesn't want a babysitter, but there is something special about this girl. The other band members, Austin, Liam and Cameron have welcomed her in the fold, and while Tate is not happy about her coming, there is something about her that is special. And he feels a protectiveness when she is around. Each carries their own baggage, and it is enough to keep them both down. There is something in the air though and with the band's success, the support of the guys and each other, we can only hope they can find their happiness. Tate is an interesting character, not your typical front man, and his pain is real. Zoey is a tough one, supporting her mom despite the barriers that are constantly thrown up. Low angst, real emotion, humorous moments and a growing love keep this story flowing. Love my first experience with Anna Edwards and will watching for more.

Gideon Frost and Allie Martina tell us this story and they are fabulous. Frost voices Tate with the confidence of a rock star, and he adds his a warmth for Zoey and the pain when he is thinking of his past. Martina is fabulous as Zoey. Desperate of times, funny, loving and understanding all are emulated in her character. Loved this story and they way these two told it.

Tate Gordon is the lead singer for Saving Tate and his band is heading out on the road for a world tour. He is still reeling from the death of his sister ten years ago and he's never far from the anger and hurt because it's something that's never been resolved. Zoey Danson is a highly competent publicist for a record company and she is being sent on tour with Saving Tate to keep an eye on them. She's okay with the idea of babysitting them, especially when she walks onto the bus and sees them all for the first time. Like Tate, she has a skeleton in her closet that affects her daily life, so she makes arrangements to watch over the problem. Her mother is an alcoholic and needs to be watched every minute of the day. Out on the road, Tate and Zoey have a natural connection that is obvious to everyone around them. His bandmates may give Tate a bad time, but they are secretly, and not so secretly, thrilled for him. The tour goes off without a hitch, until their secrets begin to emerge. Tate's parents can't and won't face facts regarding his sister's death and Zoey's mother proves to be more of a problem than anyone could have imagined. The difficult topic of addiction is handled in a sensitive and eye-opening manner and the way that the future is playing out in front of them is beautifully done. The ending is sweet and the epilogue is touching and so appropriate.
The narration is wonderfully done by Allie Martina and Gideon Frost. Their clear and dynamic voices bring each character to life with an individual attitude and unique personality. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Saving Tate by Anna Edwards was an easy read, with issues of addiction both drugs and alcohol told delicately so that people should not be offended but still it was told so that I enjoyed reading this romantic story about a band called Saving Tate and the band members that are a part of it. There is of course the lead singer Tate Gordon. Tate comes from a wealthy family. His father is an accountant and his mother is well known around Seattle. Addiction affected Tate at the age of 15 when he found his 20 year old sister dead up in her room with a needle in her arm. He watched as the paramedics he called tried to revive her, both by giving her more drugs and forms of CPR but they could not revive her. The tragic thing is that Tate never got the help he needed. Then we are introduced to Zoey Danson, a young lady who isn't even able to make ends meet because of the addiction to alcohol of her mother. This is the story of their discovery of one another and the discovery of why her mother became addicted to alcohol and the reason for how Tate's parents treated the death of his sister Heidi and caused Tate to handle issue of drug addiction. Zoey becomes Saving Tate's publicist and they find each other, after having a fiery start. It was a good book and the first book in the series Saving Tate: Rockstar Romance. Good read, I would highly recommend this book.

For whatever reason, I haven't read more of Anna Edwards' books which confuses me since the few that I have read I absolutely loved a ton! And Sing With Me is no exception, as I was all in from the jump. Tate is the lead singer for the group Saving Tate, and they're starting to get more & more attention. However, he's a dark & twisty soul because of his past tragedies that marked him so I felt his pain early. Then there's Zoey, an amazing girl who is taking care of her alcoholic mother, but who dreams of traveling the world. Her boss offers her a promotion to become the publicist of the band while they go on their world tour, and the raise is enough for her to pay the bills out right with some supervision for her mother, so on the road she goes. She & Tate don't mesh well at first, in fact, they kept butting heads, though both of them saw the pain of the other. They have chemistry in spades which won't be denied for long even though Tate won't stop trying to chase her off. This story has angst for days, witty banter, and laugh out moments with the rest of the playboy band mates so I couldn't get enough of it. I CANNOT wait for more, and I believe you'll feel the same way after hitting those one click buttons! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Sing With Me, an Anna Edwards With Me Seattle book, is a fun rocker romance.

Tate and Zoey make for a great story. They get off to a bad start, as Tate certainly doesn't want Zoey around as the band's mother hen. But, ohhh...it doesn't take long for Tate to change his feelings about Zoey. Oh how I love Tate. He is a dream come true for any woman, but especially for Zoey.

This is a combination of enemies to lovers (light) and co-workers, with a Pretty Woman makeover and family issues. Tate and Zoey are two people who help one another overcome their troubled pasts. Both have known pain, and Zoey is still living with her alcoholic mother.

They are both remarkable survivors. Having never given into their problems, they are an inspiration. As for them as a couple, I couldn't ask for anything more.

The band members are all fabulous and extremely supportive. With an emphasis on addiction, I applaud the band for being a drug free group.

Sing With Me is a fast and sweet rocker romance. Anna Edwards delights in this light angst romance, where the connection is quick and the chemistry is off the charts. A new to me series, I am looking forward to reading the past books in the series.

It was a good idea, but poorly executed.

Up until around 30% of the book, the story seemed to be going in a great direction: Tate was the lead singer of the band Saving Tate and he has some skeletons in his closet that the world doesn't know about. Zoey is struggling with her life, trying to keep her head above the water, when she is chosen by her boss to accompany Saving Tate in their world tour as their publicist.
Like I said... A good idea for a romance novel, right?
Unfortunately from then on it just doesn't work anymore. Everything happens way too fast and not exactly the romance part; I'd maybe be ok with that. It just felt like chunks of the story were removed from the book. It was missing basic story development.
This is a somewhat short book, so it's not like the book had to be "edited" to fit a certain average page number. There was room for at least an additional 100 pages...
Aside from that, this is a British author writing about American characters. She could've been a little more careful with the "Britishisms". I can't picture an American saying things like "posh" or "trainers" or so many other words that were clearly of British usage.

At this point, I'm not sure about reading the other books in the series.

The story starts with a heart breaking prologue about Tate's pass. The plot is great, lots of deep emotional moments surrounding addition and pain it caused for addicted, the people who love them and everyone involved.

I love the characters, they are wonderfully crafted and whole story is completely emmersive.

Cameron is Mr wise, outspoken and fun. Liam, the one who ask the most inaporiate questions and is silly in the best way. Austin is a combination of fun, wise and silly.

Tate is everything, he is emotionally scared, but the depth of his pain has made him into the most beautiful caring, loving soul, and a brilliant song writer.

Zoey and Tate are two people who have experienced things that damaged them to the point where they feel alone and hopeless.
Their hopelessness changed when the meet and started to get to know each other. They both realised they are exactly what each other needs, they were perfect for each other, they could heal each other's soul.
A beautiful love story and I love that Zoey's mum is in recovery.

The narrator told the story well.
Thia is my first story from this author and I love it and will read more books from her.

No matter what this author writes, one thing is clear that she creates characters that have depth which leads to some enjoyable storylines. Tate is the lead singer for the band Saving Tate and they are garnering more attention. Zoey is a publicist who has just earned a promotion which has her working for Saving Tate. For her it is a dream come true as she has wanted to tour the world but from her first encounter with Tate their animosity is apparent. However, as they are somewhat forced to spend time together, they get to know each other on a deeper level. Each one has issues with their respective pasts that come into play but their chemistry cannot be denied. Can these two overcome their past to have what they want? This is one storyline filled with wit, drama and moments that will have you laughing out loud. I look forward to reading more about the other members of the band. I recommend this book. I volunteered to read a copy of this book and all opinions are my own.

An easy reading story on the familiar theme of a woman joining a band of young guys making it big in the world of rock and roll.

Zoey is a publicist, good at her job but dealing with her Mother's addictions and struggling to pay their bills. She gets the opportunity of a lifetime when her boss sends her off on a world tour with band Saving Tate and even though she is afraid to leave her Mother she realizes that she has to do this in order to better her career.

Most of the band accepts her presence on their tour bus and they way she is organizing them, but lead singer Tate wants none of it and goes out of his way to disagree and hurt her verbally in every way he can. Once he sees that she is not going to be deterred from her career goals he begins to fall for her.

As their romance continues and Tate notices that Zoey does not have much in the way of clothes so he takes her on a shopping spree "a la Pretty Woman" telling her that looking good on the outside can help you to feel good on the inside.

This is a sweet romantic story intertwined with the reality of dealing with the addiction of someone you are close to. Being together is not easy as they try to avoid publicity and Zoey works hard to always present the band in a positive light but Tate and Zoey comfort and support each other as they deal with their past and present demons and it is fun to follow them on their travels around the world.

This is an enjoyable read and maybe the start of a new series about the Saving Tate Boys which I shall look forward to reading.
