I had a wonderful time reading the collection of short stories in A Plot for Any Occasion. There were plenty of unexpected twists and clever reversals of expectations. I was especially impressed with "The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year," "Black Friday Blues," "A Bellow of Criers, " and "Iced in" in that department. I was so taken with the cast of characters in "Murder in the Winds" that I hope there are more short stories featuring these folks. Finally, I just love how ironically apt are the titles that many of these short stories sport.
