There’s no glass slipper, only shards. Prince Charming is the villain, and happily ever afters are a myth.
Except now, I need to construct one.
Me, the fake princess, with a make-believe happily never after, to the anti-Prince Charming himself.
Coldly beautiful, brutally ruthless, and heir to a criminal empire. Misha Tsavakov hates me, but he’ll be my fabricated prince, for a price:
All of me.
I belong to him now. No limits. No mercy. And no kiss before midnight to end this curse. No kissing at all, actually.
The deeper we get, the darker and more twisted this maze of thorns becomes. There’s no way out. But the harder I fight, the more it might be that I don’t want a way out.
Real or not, there’s one thing about fairytales that no one ever warns you about:
When you put on glass slippers, you’d better tread carefully.
Or you’ll bleed.

A reader first and foremost, Jagger Cole cut his romance writing teeth penning various fan-fiction stories years ago. After deciding to hang up his writing boots, Jagger worked in advertising pretending to be Don Draper. It worked enough to convince a woman way out of his league to marry him, though, which is a total win.
Now, Dad to two little princesses and King to a Queen, Jagger is thrilled to be back at the keyboard.
When not writing or reading romance books, he can be found woodworking, enjoying good whiskey, and grilling outside—rain or shine.
❥ 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒆 I loved her with all my heart. She is brave, intelligent and stands her ground against Misha.
❥ 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒂 This man, I want one. He had a traumatic childhood and is dangerously, cold and a bit psychotic. He starts a game with Charlotte but soon there are feelings involved.
✥ 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌 Wow. Just wow. This book is twisted, full of secrets and there are so many emotions involved. As a reader this is a wild and entertaining ride. I loved every single page! Normally I‘m no person who cries while reading but I just couldn’t stop after the second plot twist. I didn’t see that one coming. Charlotte and Misha are interesting characters with amazing tension and their banter was so good. They make a deal to do a fake marriage which is a real marriage but just for political reasons. Quickly this whole fake situation develops and both of them catch feelings. I enjoyed following their story. It was thrilling, funny and I ate everything up. I‘m so happy that I picked this series up because there were other books from this author that I sadly didn’t enjoyed but this series? Perfect so far. Of course there are little details that could have been better but the whole vibe is just what I‘m in the mood for.
𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤? Yes! A dark enemies to lovers bratva romance with a fake marriage and a real princess x oligarch? Sign me up.
I liked this but I didn't love it. The first chapter was really good, but it went downhill from then on. The couple had chemistry but I didn't feel a romantic connection besides lust. The feelings came out of nowhere and I didn't buy them. Safety wasn't the best since they technically met at age 6. He was a manwhore (he was forced by his father to visit prostitutes and be a 'man' so I'm not too critical about that) and the heroine was a virgin. No others after they spoke the first time, but there is some ow drama with women throwing themselves at him but he rejects all.
BUT I can't not rant about this. The whole reason why this is a bully romance and why the guy hates the heroine is because
SPOILER
He wanted a balloon when he was 6 and his father didn't allow him to buy one. The heroine gave it to him 'on the house' and then he tried to repay it with a flower. She didn't accept the flower and laughed in his face, so his father thought he was a shame and not 'man' enough so he started treating him like shit.
I’ve been waiting on this one for a while😳😳🤪 Yes I’m addicted with these series! And I will read the next one in next month too😍😍🙏🏼🙏🏼😙😙😙
WARNING: Drugs, death, alcohol, bullying, mind games, sadness and violence.
I come to realize when i read this series that at first the book will start of confusing and irritating for me because I didn’t like the way the hero is with the heroine the first time they meet and they talked and how things goes from there. Yes this is a bully romance book, but for me personally I don’t like to read a hero who always plays mind games with the heroine especially this heroine right here is innocent and a virgin one. She never have a serious relationship before so she’s clueless about her emotion and also about her decisions because of what she is in person (she’s a princess but not by born). But I’m also glad that the hero didn’t play the mind games too long with her because that will be exhausting to read tbh… The hero have been through a lot in his life with his dad being such a sadistic bastard and very bad person in a wrong way so in the end i understand how childish the hero can be and also he still in high school so that means he’s young. People and learn and grow i guess… So if you read that the hero is this and that (childish and annoying) is because he grow up with a very bad parent with him that really raise him in a wrong way. But in the end the hero find his peace and find his way with the heroine… They find happy ending and eternal love!
“When it comes to Charlotte, there’s a war inside of me. Its a battle of hatred versus lust. And sometimes, they just agree to get along together. I hate her. I want her. And that hasn’t and won’t ever change.”
“Her hand lands on my arm. I stiffen, gritting my teeth as the war surges inside of me. Lust, hatred. Desire, scorn. Obsession and revenge, battling it out over my very soul.”
“The hookers at fourteen. The first taste of my sixteen birthday. Drilling it into my head for years that I was a lion, and the world was my hunting ground to exploit and plunder.”
“Someone as fcked up and broken and twisted inside as me. Someone who never learned to love the right way. Someone never got hugged, or told they were doing a good job. Or that they were even wanted.”
‼️‼️‼️THE HERO is a manwhore for sure before. But in the end i understand his situation being a manwhore like that and I’m glad he change to be better. But its been a while like few weeks like that he didn’t slept with anyone and then he meet the heroine…
‼️‼️‼️VERY HOT SMUT SCENES.
‼️‼️‼️THE HEROINE IS A VIRGIN
‼️‼️‼️NO CHEATING
‼️‼️‼️IT HAS PUSHING AWAY FROM BOTH but never too much and not too annoying...
‼️‼️‼️THE HERO IS POSSESSIVE PROTECTION ALPHA MALE. He’s not OTT possessive though… Just possessive. If you know what i mean lol
‼️‼️‼️They are in high school.
‼️‼️‼️SAFE ROMANTIC HOT LOVE STORY.
‼️‼️‼️DRAMA WITH OW BUT NOT TOO ANNOYING. NO DRAMA WITH OM. Other drama is about family drama and about themself well mostly about the hero being so confused about his feelings with the heroine😂😂😂😂
‼️‼️‼️THE HERO ALWAYS SAYS YOU ARE MINE TO THE HEROINE. “That you’re mine.”
“You. are. mine. All of you.”
🥺🥺🥺
‼️‼️‼️THE HERO WANTS THE HEROINE SOOOO BADLY…
“I want Charlotte, because i want to possess her. I want her because she turns my fcking blood to fire and my c*ck to iron.”
“I’m just thinking about fcking her every second of every day.”
“Its still an easy answer. Whether there’s still anything there for me or not, I’m picking her.”
“Maybe I can’t have her and the empire. But its still the easiest choice in the world. I’d pick her every time.”
‼️‼️‼️IT HAS SEPARATION FOR FEW WEEKS. BOTH ARE LOYAL AND NEVER GOES TO ANYONE ELSE. EVEN BEFORE THEY KISSED AND HAVE S*X, BOTH ARE LOYAL.
‼️‼️‼️Not too many jealous scenes from both hero and the heroine.
‼️‼️‼️HAPPY ENDING. Married!
What I don’t like about the book is that for me this book have too many mind games and fore play, i didn’t read many romance between the two. The hero play too much mind games with the heroine then actually be romantic with her, in the end he is romantic though but we only get to see that in end… Like all of them with their closest friends goes to somewhere so we can see more of them chemistry you know and get to see their other friends, but nope😟 only one time have a lunch together but that was before the hero and heroine even a couple. Hhmmm…. And also it’s annoying that the hero is the only one who gets to have naked woman wants him, two other woman who likes him to play with them. He obviously didn’t touch them like all of them but seriously, why he’s the only one who gets that? The heroine? ZERO MAN, zero other man likes her or chase her like the hero. For me thats not fair though🥲 not too many jealous scenes from the hero either so thats a bit annoying too because i thought he would be OTT possessive though🤣😅😅
🌐🌐🌐➡️↘️⬇️➡️This is my own personal thoughts and opinion about the book so if thats not sit right with you or you feel I’m not being fair blablabla, please know that everybody in this world have their own different things that they like and don’t like. It may not be the same thing with you but thats okay because i am my own person and you cannot control me or tell me what to do. For example; i put ketchup (tomato sauce) on my fried chicken. You think that’s disgusting? For me its not and i’ve been eating it like that for many many years. You tell me to put another sauce and see if i like that better? I already did many many times in years but i still like the way i like it. It’s called differences between me and you and billions people in this world😊 be open minded😙 I respect people’s opinions about my opinions but in the end of the day if i say I don’t like it or i do like it, its up to me and its on me. And in the end of the day i always liked and show my respect to books and people’s opinions on books whenever that book is good or not good in my opinion 😊 Respect people’s opinions guys😙😙 I don’t want to write this down because its not really my thing to do it. To like address something like this when obviously i know the people who’s been reading my reviews many times and all the time, they are smart enough to understand and respect other people’s opinions no matter what their opinions on book or their point of view 😙😙 am i right? 💕 also there are people even though i already write “this book is different because i have my own taste of book” those people still comment my taste is this and that when HELLO… everybody have their own thoughts on books and what they want to read… why i read it then? I read it and give it a review because i have to read a book to give it a review… why not read the description book to understand before I’m going to read it? Hello just in case you haven’t notice, description books can be tricky because they write this amazing things about a book but turns out the story is so toxic. Maybe for me its toxic but not for you? YES HELLO THATS WHY US HUMAN BEING HAVE OUR DIFFERENCES, WHAT I LIKE IT DOESN’T MEAN YOU WILL LIKE IT AND EITHER WAY TOO. why i still write the review then if i just don’t like a book? Because I CAN and i want to, you cannot tell me what to do and not what to do🤪 if you still wants to be negative and be karens about my review on book after all of what i just write, i will never acknowledge you and simply ignore you because its not that hard🙏 I won’t respond to negativity comments🙏🏼🙏🏼 DON’T ASK ME AGAIN ABOUT WHY NOT RESPONDING TO YOUR NEGATIVE COMMENTS BECAUSE I ALREADY SAY IT HERE AND I WON’T BE EXPLAINING AGAIN BECAUSE WE’RE NOT CHILDREN SO ITS NOT HARD FOR YOU AN ADULT TO UNDERSTAND😌😌 YES MY REVIEW IS LONG BUT YOU READ IT ANYWAY AND ITS FINE ACTUALLY I CAN WRITE AS LONG AS I LIKE😎 YES MY GRAMMAR IS BAD SOMETIMES AND MAYBE ALL THE TIME BUT LUCKILY MANY PEOPLE CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT I’M SAYING🤪 ⬅️↖️↕️⬅️↩️⤴️
This one was alittle darkish but it was so good.. Misha and Luka (he gets his story later) are kinda picking up where there brother left off since he's taken now, now parties and drugs are Misha thing. And Misha Dark Prince has his eyes set on someone he hates/loves Charlotte aka Princess Daries she was at his manor and asked him to marry her he turned her down at first because he dislikes her with a passion for something that happened years ago. Now he has Revenge on his mind and agrees to her plan but he wants her to be his and do everything he says. These two had some sexual tension up the butt and I enjoyed It so much better then the first couple. The taunts and teasing the Sex toy during a speech!!! LORD THAT WAS HAWT!!!
But not all fun times there was some dark moments in Misha past thanks to his father.. that took a turn when secerts were found out. The only thing I was meh about was Misha grudge against Char when they were 6... I understood his point but THEY WERE 6.
Angst, tiny ow drama (girls would through themselves at H), no cheating, drama, secondary character, sexy times, virgin gal and sorta manwhore

I was so excited to read Misha and Charlotte's story. It was sexy and angsty and that surprise twist!! OMG!! Jagger Cole has me obsessed with this series!!
Overall, Charlotte was a breath of fresh air. She was honest and forthright and I loved her friendship with Tenley. The back and forth between her and Misha was next level. Now I can't wait for Lucas's story! 4 stars! ~Ratula
A great storyline that was fast paced with tons is twists and turns! A little bit of a slowburn, but with tons of chemistry and teasing. Can’t wait to dive into the next story in the series!
I can't not get lost in these series. I have a serious problem but I regret nothing.
Here comes Misha's story. The Dark Prince, another heir of the Russian Bratva, his manwhore, party animal ways make Ilya look like a good guy. Misha has the biggest chip on his shoulder thanks to his upbringing and asshole dad. And he truly hates Charlotte Bergendem. Charlotte is nicknamed Princess Diaries for a reason, no matter how much she hates it. Her mum was saved by an actual king when she fell into the ocean - legit like a fairytale - so now Charlotte is the princess of Luxlordia. And her getting married is the key to shut the parliament up and help her stepdad with being re-elected. She's a good girl, does what has to be done, but this is where her line is drawn. She will marry if she has to. But it will be at least her choice who. And shitfaced at a Lordship Manor party, proposing marriage to Misha seems like a very good idea. Except, he says no, she soon throws up all over his feet, and can only pray he forgets about it by the next day. Not much luck there and as it turns out, Misha needs the image of this marriage as much as she does. Getting his revenge on Charlotte is just an added bonus.
To compare it to the first book, I liked Charlotte more than Tenley, but Ilya is still my number one at OHA. Also, the reason why Misha hated Charlotte was just plain silly to be honest. I got where his demons were coming from, but still.
Very much looking forward to the mysterious, mind-reader Lukas and hope he brings a little more darkness!
3+ Stars, I just could not put this book down. The sexual tension between these 2, was so good!!! I'd say safe w exception! H and h had an encounter once when they were kids, then later on the h joins the same high school as the hero. They had no interaction and they first really started talking to each other when the book starts. Hero was a manwhore but then rejects any other girl after talking to/getting involved with the heroine! I like ya/na mafia books, so this was definitely a nice read overall :D

This follows Charlotte, whose life changed dramatically three years ago. After living with her mother and barely getting by paycheck to paycheck, her mother caught the attention of a king. Now part of a royal family and officially a princess, Charlotte is attending the prestigious Oxford Hills Academy. Struggling to fit in and meet the expectations placed on her, she finds herself drawn to Misha the heir to his father’s underworld empire and one of the three princes of the school.
I love Jagger’s work. It’s dark, delicious, and the journey always pulls you right in. The storyline here is definitely more character-driven with a little bit of plot, but it still delivers twists and turns that hit the spot.
Starting with Charlotte I really felt for her. She’s treated like an outcast at the academy, constantly made to feel unworthy. She has this innocent side, but she also packs a punch when she’s riled up and trying to put the MMC in his place.
Misha, the MMC, is dominant, possessive, and controlling in a way that clearly stems from childhood trauma and being raised in the Bratva. I devoured the spice and the angsty tension between them it was steamy for sure. The twists were completely unexpected, which I loved.
Lastly, the audiobook was fantastic with dual narration by Aaron and Alden. I highly recommend experiencing it in that format.

I am a Jagger Cole fan for sure but I have yet to read or listen to the entire back catalog of books. One series I have yet to dip my toes into was the Savage Heirs series.
I’m so glad I did. This one did NOT disappoint!
Blurb: This is not a fairytale.
There’s no glass slipper, only shards. Prince Charming is the villain, and happily ever afters are a myth. Except now, I need to construct one. Thoughts: I truly loved this one. Charlotte and Misha were a dark romance dream. I truly felt for Misha’s upbringing and when he released all his anger for his past…perfection. I am always up for an MMC that is a jerk to everyone but the FMC.
The audiobook was in dual narration and I was fully immersed in this story. Auri Alden and Aaron Shedlock were the perfect voices for Charlotte and Misha. They brought the conflict and heat and everything in between with their performances.
Loved it!
Tropes: Dark Academia Romance Mafia Marriage of Convenience Enemies to Lovers
Thank you Jagger Cole and Valentine PR for the alc to listen to and review
This is the second book in the Bratva Academy Series and in this book we get Misha and Charlotte's story. What a story it is! Misha and Charlotte are combustible together you can feel the sparks shooting off them. Misha is the son of a Russian Oligarch and Charlotte is the newly minted princess of Luxlordia. They have nothing in common he grew up in wealth while she grew up with a single mom who worked as many jobs as she needed to in order to keep a roof over their heads. Misha has always tolerated Charlotte because she's Tenley's best friend and Ilya and Tenley are together. When Charlotte is put in an untenable situation she decides to take an unconventional approach to solving it by approaching Misha with a devil's bargain. Misha sees this as the perfect way to exact his revenge on Charlotte for her ruining his life which might be why it feels like he hates her sometimes. Unfortunately she is unaware that she did this so this is where the games really begin. Charlotte will not just blindly do whatever Misha says she fights him and the more she fights the nastier Misha gets in their battle of wills. Jagger Cole really gave us a great follow-up book in this deliciously twisted series we get intrigue, murder, government plots, twists&turns, depravity and plenty of steam. Misha's story was deliciously dark. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers but you definitely need to read this book it's dark and delicious Jagger Cole is really doing an INCREDIBLE job with this series!! I CAN'T WAIT to read Lukas's book King of Pain it should be phenomenal! I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion of this book.
Eeeek I knew I would love Misha and Charlotte’s story! This had so many good tropes and their dynamic was so fun. Charlotte and Misha enter a marriage of convenience and it’s such a fun trip 🤭
Tropes/Theme: -Princess x mafia heir -Marriage of convenience -Hate to love -Exhibitionism
"Nothing’s been fine since we started this bullshit and stoked this fire that never should have been fed. Because I’m pretty sure one, or both of us, is going to get burned."
Really corny, cringy, trashy book… but it’s also the first book i’ve read in 6 months that wasn’t an audiobook!!! so im applauding myself for that (hopefully i get out of my slump soon 😭)
This book is a steamy read between Misha and Charlotte. The chemistry between these two is off the charts hot!! Misha has so much anger for such a young man and continues to hold onto it when he knows it would just be better to let it go. Charlotte is strong, sassy and independent and doesn’t let Misha take their “games” too far. The story is really well written and I can’t wait for the next book in the series!!
First came Ilya Volkov. He was hot. Next came Misha Tsavakov. He is hot and filthy. Just how I like ‘em.
These books! If you like Bratva heirs who have a multitude of scars from their pasts. Who fall for girls that can’t see to think straight when their around said Bratva boys let alone make a sensible decision. If you like seeing the bad guys get their just desserts and you like reading hot sexy scenes on public transport that you have to try and hide invade a school kid sees the smut you’re reading (yup thats me lol). These books are the perfect pick me up!!
Misha and Charlotte have the kind of love/hate relationship I can only dream of. Each has a use to the other. But Misha has a secret that keeps him loathing Charlotte and their chemistry sizzles because of it.
Misha is fabulous. His dirty domineering talk will get you going, as will his filthy antics. He likes to watch and he’s so darn naughty!! Charlotte is another sweet character who finds it hard to say no to a Bratva Boy.
Lukas is next up and I am rubbing my hands in glee because he is my absolute favourite of the three Dark Princes’s!
On a side note...the model is hot 🔥 🥵 he definitely looks like what I picture Misha looking like.
Okay back to my review..... I knew I would love Misha and his book but he's so different from Ilya and Lukas. Where Lukas is the one everyone is eager to read about I knew I would love Misha. He was always the playboy the fun one but I knew there was more to him and my gawd was I was right.
I won't spoil the book but learning who he really is was jaw dropping.
I was also shocked to read Charlotte was the leading lady..Tenley's bff. She was fun to read as well and definitely a good match for the playboy.
This story has so many twist and turns and tons is steamy sexy times. Jagger Cole never disappoints with his novels and I just can't get enough of this second generation crew. And love the extra scene.
I personally think this book specifically can have a second book based few yrs after giving that Misha has people against his leadership.
i know fiction has no bearing on reality. i also know it’s not meant to be realistic. but what in the ever lording fuck was this.
the virgin im-not-like-other-girls princess and bratva bad boy who has the most fucking ridiculous reason for revenge (not that im not sympathetic of what he’s gone through, but a BALLOON??) have copious amounts of manipulative foreplay eventually leading to weirdly passionate sex. oh, did i forget to mention THEY ARE HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS???
the thing im mostly pissed about is that this book could’ve gone in so many different directions, but instead of going right, it went left, took a u-turn, strolled through a dingy back alley and shat itself until it reached the wrong destination.
DARK PRINCE is the second instalment in Jagger Cole’s contemporary, new adult BRATVA ACADEMY erotic, Bratva, romance series-a spin off from the author’s BRATVA’S CLAIM series. This is nineteen year old, heir to one of Russia’s biggest criminal empires Misha Tsavakov, and princess Charlotte Bergendem of Luxlordia, a small Bavarian country. DARK PRINCE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.
WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers. Although most of the characters are high school aged, and attend a private, boarding school for the elite, Royal, rich or connected, the story line contains adult situations, therefore I do not recommend for anyone under eighteen years of age.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Charlotte and Misha) DARK PRINCE follows the marriage of convenience between nineteen year old, heir to one of Russia’s biggest criminal empires Misha Tsavakov, and princess Charlotte Bergendem of Luxlordia. Two years earlier, following an incident aboard a cruise liner, Charlotte Lawrence’s mother Jessica married King Heinrich Bergendem of Luxlordia, making Charlotte a princess by extension. Life at Oxford Hills Academy is anything but royal when our heroine is taunted and teased as a wanna-be princess but life back home finds Charlotte about to be forced into an arranged marriage with Prince Frederick of Norway, in an effort to save the Luxlordian government from collapse. Enter Bratva heir Misha Tsavakov, one-third of the dark and dangerous ‘savage Bratva heirs’ who rule and control Oxford Hills Academy. Desperate to marry anyone other than the crown prince of Norway, Charlotte drunkenly proposes to Misha Tsavakov, whose hatred for Charlotte cannot be explained, but whose own life back home, is increasingly volatile and dark. What ensues is the acrimonious relationship between Charlotte and Misha, and the potential fall-out as years of secrets and lies reveal a twisted and deadly past that is about to destroy the man with whom Charlotte will fall in love.
Misha Tsavakov knows first hand, the cruel and harsh reality of the criminal underworld, having lived a life of savagery at the hands of his father but Misha’s less than worldly antics and attitude have pushes his father one too many times, and his final f-you is marrying our story line heroine. Believing he had one-upped his father, Misha will quickly discover that his father has plans for the princess back home.
The relationship between Misha and Charlotte is a marriage of convenience; a tempestuous and caustic affair wherein Charlotte refuses to marry someone not of her choosing but in choosing Misha places herself in the hands of a dark, cruel and dominant young heir. Charlotte is an innocent but quickly finds herself falling for a man whose own life is spiralling out of control.
We are reintroduced to Bratva Prince/heir Ilya Volkov and Tenley Chambers (Savage Heir 1), and Lukas Komarov: King Heinrich Bergendem and Queen Jessica; Misha’s father Oligarch Boris Tsavakov, and his second in command Kristoff.
DARK PRINCE is a story of cruelty and abuse; secrets and lies; power and control; freedom and love. The premise is heart breaking and twisted; the romance is dramatic and dark; the characters are charismatic, broken but healing.
I haven’t read many bully romances. Maybe a handful, if that. But I am all in on Cole’s Bratva Academy and those deviant kings of Oxford Hills Academy. With each book, the savageness and cruelty amplifies. After finishing, DARK PRINCE, is anyone nervous about the lengths at which Cole will go with Lukas Komarov? Because dude scares me. Lukas. Not Cole. Well, maybe Cole.
Misha and Charlotte enter into an agreement of sorts that will benefit them both with their families. Misha just may be holding back a darker, more sinister secret of how it will benefit him even better. But as they spend more and more time together, the boundaries they carefully constructed in the beginning, begin to crumble. And neither one is prepared for the fall.
I didn’t care much for Misha in SAVAGE HEIR so it took some time for him to grow on me in this one. But grow on me he did. I looked past his drug induced, playboy ways and ended up loving his character. Especially towards the end. But the guy is witty and incredibly charming.
Cole, again and again, you have me at your mercy with your unique characters and your very active imagination that transfers amazingly into words. And good god man, how do you keep doing the romance like you do?? Hot, hot, hot. Bring on the next one!! I know I am not ready for the likes of Lukas but I dang sure am going to give it my best. 5 Stars!
My Jagger Cole era continues, and this time it’s Dark Prince. Still mafia, but with an extra layer of dark academia, bully romance, and a marriage of (in)convenience laced with revenge and lies. It’s one of Jagger’s earlier titles (new to audio), and while it’s a little different from the 2025 mafia darkness I’ve come to crave, it absolutely does not disappoint.
We get the same intense, tortured MMC who’s soft only for her, and a FMC who’s a newly minted princess (her nickname is Princess Diaries and it fits) trying to drag her country into modern times by finding a loophole in an archaic law. She’s determined, stubborn, and absolutely not prepared for how real things become.
Misha is everything. The push and pull between him and Charlotte was delicious. My heart fully shattered once the photo on his wall was revealed and we learned why he wanted to ruin her, but, wow, what a redemption arc.
Their banter had me actually laughing; it was so much better than I expected.
I WILL be going back to read Tenley’s story because everything I saw of her and Ilya has me desperate for more. And I cannot wait for Lizbet and Lukas. I swear I’m already half in love with Lukas (even though Misha will be hard to top).
The plot twist? My jaw. On. The. Floor. I knew something was off, but I did not see that coming.
Aaron Shedlock is new to me, and his voice is ridiculously good. I could’ve listened to 14 more hours of him reading the phone book. The breath he gave Misha gave me goosebumps more times than I can count. Auri is also new to me, and the way she balanced Charlotte’s lightness, sharp edges, wit, and snark was perfection.
Thank you, @jaggercoleauthor and @valentine_pr_ for the ALC and for feeding my addiction.
When I started this book, I wasn't sure if I would like Misha. But as always Jagger has made me love another fictional character!! I love the way Jagger writes these stories that grip you through the entire story.
Misha and Charlotte could not be more different but Charlotte needs Misha to help her. Misha is one of the three that rule the school and he is definitely not easy to approach. I loved his character and the way he one loyal to the select few but could care a less about the rest. Charlotte is the good girl that always follows the rules and does what she needs to. I enjoyed seeing her step out of her comfort zone. And Misha is definitely out of her zone. I did love this marriage of convenience story!
The audio of this book is amazing! I absolutely devoured it and enjoyed every second of this one. Aaron Shedlock and Auri Alden bring this one to your ears and do so phenomenally! Aaron has a deep, resonate voice that is perfect for Misha. The way they reads this made it so easy to picture this story like a movie. Auri has a honeyed voice that hits the mark for Charlotte. I really liked her reading the chapters that are from Charlotte's POV.
This audio is amazing and one you will thoroughly enjoy!!
100 ⭐️! This is hands down the best book I have read this year. I discovered Jagger Cole this year and all his books have been phenomenal but this one is extraordinary. From the moment I read the first sentence, I was enthralled. It has been some time since I have read a complex and intriguing hero. Misha and Charlotte chemistry is so explosive! This is one of the HOTTEST books I have read, my kindle was steaming.🔥🔥🔥
I am at loss for words, this book is so much more than what I was expecting. I am sure it will be my favorite book of the series. I felt so many emotions while reading I couldn't put it down. I love how Charlotte took control of the situation that she was in and just made things happen her way and Misha had so much more depth than I could imagine. This is the type of book that stays with you and you think about the scenes and the couple and you can't help but melt a little every time because you just love the story so much.❤️❤️❤️
I am not sure how Jagger Cole does it, but each book surpasses the previous one and I can't get enough. Read this series you will not be disappointed. In fact, just read all of Jagger Coles's books, they are just amazing!
Misplaced anger has him hating her, yet frustratingly wanting her to be his and only his. She's out of place in the elite school, but as a newly minted princess she needs to learn to fit in. When she finds out an antiquated rule from her new stepfather's country means that she needs to get married asap in order to avoid an arranged marriage, she thinks going to him is what will work best as no one will approve. Events, emotions and actions spiral out of control from there. Will these enemies become lovers and fall in love or will their misguided attempt to get what they want from their parents end in disaster? Great interactions as you can feel the hate and the lust, well developed characters and a plot full of action will have you on the edge of your seat and turning pages long into the night after you should have gone to sleep! I am so ready for Luka's story that I am jumping in with both hands held high! If you aren't into bullying, then this series may not be for you, just know the bully's turn into teddy bears who bite by the end!
Misha was a character with layers. He had so much anger for one so young, he continued to hold on to the pain he had endured instead of letting go. He like to tease and play games with Charlotte, see how far she will let him or until his own desires push him. Charlotte is strong and sassy enough to push back, denying that the encounters have any effect on her at all. This book is a really steamy read. The chemistry between the characters is off the charts and the development of the story is very full and written very well. I enjoyed this book a lot, it was a great read. I’m so looking forward to Luka’s story!.
This is the second story in the Bratva Academy series and features Misha and Charlotte. This is a case of opposites really do attract. He's the playboy decadent hedonist who grew up in a harsh environment with no mom and a terrifying father. Charlotte could have had a similar bad childhood, but she had a loving mother even though her father was no longer in the picture. She was the smart nerdy girl who hasn't done a bad thing in her entire life. It was interesting to see how these two learned more about each other and the twists and turns were ones I never would have expected. Great story and I'm looking forward to our third Bratva Heir.
I received a free copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
This is the second book in the Bratva Academy Series and Misha and Charlotte’s story. Jagger Cole never disappoints and Dark Prince is one amazing read with characters you can't help but fall in love with. The chemistry between Misha and Charlotte is intense and explosive. This story was dark and twisted perfection, with a powerful storyline that I couldn’t put down. I highly recommend this 5 star read that will have your attention from beginning to end.
She walked straight into the darkness when she asked him to marry her, but she had no idea what he truly wanted from her. He ended up burning down his whole world, and in the end it was worth every bit of it. The truth, the lies, and the heat between these two are absolutely worth the read or listen. I love this series so much, and I cannot wait to listen to what comes next.
