Engaging book - If you have been with this series since the start this was perfect. Humanity will never bow down to those who try to take their freedom when there are still a few ready to right back...and that they did. I am not going to go into specifics here but this book was everything I didn't know I needed from this story. And the story was not dragged out... It was perfectly paced. I love Cassidy, Chris, Elle, Manny and Vera... just to name a few here.... Can't wait to see where the author goes from here....

Amazing author and book! An exciting page turner that I could not stop reading! I neglected all household chores for two days lol. I laughed, cried, and felt very connected to the characters. I absolutely love Cassidy but have to give a shoutout to Vera who's personality cracked me up! The world building is amazing also, I felt as if I was there and could picture everything in my mind perfectly. I read this book without having read the first five in this series and can honestly say this book can be read as a standalone also, which is an amazing task for an author especially it being book #6 in the series. It will definitely make you want to read the first five and also be one of those series you will to reread over and over again. Five stars from me!

Didn't Disappoint!!
Once again you gave me hope. I have always been team Cassidy and Chris so after what happens I could not see how this could go back to them and be ok. You gave us the HEA....well the start and that is all I needed!! Thanks for another amazing book. It gave me all that I was hoping for and then some.

Great series
Thouroughly enjoyed reading this saga. Simmer Lane took on a long journey with extraordinary twist and turns. Great ending to the world collapse from the first book in this series.

Definitely intense
After a few years I finally finished both series. I really enjoy this author’s writing although the constant see-sawing of Cassidy’s relationship with Chris and Uriah got real old. Other than that this was a really great series.
