Nathalia Hampton dreamed of college, work, finding that special someone, and enjoying happy times with her family, but fate decided to laugh and took away everything she held dear.
An unlikely friend, Maxim Petrachovich, helped her find the strength to move forward when catastrophe struck again. She found comfort in his arms and an offer that seemed too good to be true: travel the world and be his wife for a couple years, and then she could do whatever she wanted. Or so she thought.
Thalia signed the contract in haste and unknowingly promised to also be his submissive, the mother of his children, and queen to a country she never knew existed.
She should be furious, but how could she hate someone she’s come to love? A king who’s fighting to protect his family and people from the threat of destruction, ruling over all he sees, including her.
NOTE: If you like modern day fairy tale romances with a Prince who must marry to save his kingdom and an evil cousin bent on taking the throne for himself - plunging the kingdom in darkness, willing to do ANYTHING to stop his future marriage. This is a fast paced, edge of your seat romance with lots of twists and turns. Will there be a Happily Ever After or will the evil cousin, Dalek, win? You'll have to read to find out. This book is steamy and suspenseful.
I grew up in a small town in South Florida and moved to Central Florida to attend college. I married my friend, love, and soul mate and still reside in the area with our amazing son, and a feisty, four-legged little doggie boy.
In my books, I draw on my background in healthcare, business, and science, along with my husband’s engineering and wireless technology knowledge.
I love to cook and create in the kitchen and on the bbq grill. I sometimes lose myself in a song at the piano. I enjoy crafting, amusement parks, and the beach!
"The story started pretty intense but so good. Just a few pages and I was hooked up but here comes the huge BUT I read that specific word that I don’t like at all. Should I continue? Yeah, that was me asking to myself. Happily no longer after the connection was sealed and everything started to develop amazingly. One of the things I loved the most was the dual POV. Both Nathalia and Max's personalities were different including their attitudes but both combined perfectly. I loved Max protective side also a little suspicious bit that was just him being perfect. But not everything was perfect between the press, some questionable characters not saying more let's just say that a rollercoaster ride is guaranteed. Their relationship was beautiful and so romantic. Awww... awwww... lovelies. An exact representation of me reading their interactions. But I must say that don't let my romantic side fool you, the story had its darks moments."
Thalia and Max's fantastic romance has it all- tragedy and darkness, evil characters, a lovely Kingdom named Lovannia and a fairy tale Prince who rescues a fair maiden. The world created in this book was magical at times-I loved the Wedding scene, the food and jewelry descriptions and the Ocean setting. However, Thalia's story is also filled with sadness and evilness. Max is instantly drawn to her and takes it upon himself to rescue her. He also has a hidden agenda leading to a book full of action and suspense. To top it off this sweet, lovely romance takes a swift turn entering into the erotic world of submission. At times it made me uncomfortable but I enjoyed all the characters and the great world building. A must read for lovers of modern day Fairy tales.
I'm not a choose the book to read because of the cover normally but this one in part I did, it's great! The story also sounded interesting and is a great read! Prince sees girl and wants her but alas the rules of his country make it hard. Girl has a great loss and well other stuff happens. The two meet and both find a friendship growing and then changing. It has some suspense which switches things up and makes you want to smack some people. It's a definite must read!

Nathalia has gone through several tragedies all at once, then is being taken advantage of. Until her prince cones to her rescue. Max has secrets of his own, but he's uber protective of Thalia. Things get better as secrets are revealed. Lots of intrigue, danger, and suspense. I thoroughly enjoyed this story.
Nathalia had it all until an accident took it all away from her. A friend, Max, is there to pick up the pieces. He has an offer for her, to be his wife for a couple of years to secure his "family business". Nathalia didn't realize that the offer is forever and he's a prince.
Another brilliant book!. So many twists and turns.
The first 25% is so frustrating and heartbreaking at the same time but it all works out in the end, with all loose ends tied up and questions unanswered.
One thing I will say it he immediately changes as soon as they are married, which you kinda felt like she was backed into a corner as he kept so much from her. Would have liked to have seen her fight back a little more but overall it works well.
