Curtis, a grumpy recluse, lives on a mountain alone and is quite content with his life. Then a ray of sunshine by the name of Kendra moves in next door and Curtis is very smitten and quietly watching her.
A power failure, a misunderstanding, and some groveling on Curtis’s part, and the sparks ignite and the chemistry is very spicy and hot.
Very cute, short story that kept me entertained.

She brought out his inner beast.
Curtis and Kendra are cute together. She's sunshine and he's a grumpy Gus. Good thing she likes him like that. A fun steamy read featuring a man who's good with his hands. He's a furniture maker. I love that the epilogue goes out several years and touches on the next series.

My rating for this one is a 3.5. This is a well written short story with great characters. I would have like to have seen more of their story. This one is worth your time. This one is for that lazy afternoon read. I think you will enjoy this one I know I did.
