Amarie Nesbitt has it all. She is young, beautiful, rich, and owns a thriving beauty company. The last thing she needs in her life is drama. A bullet through her office window makes her fear for her life. She is sent on a downward spiral as she becomes the focus of an unknown assailant’s cat and mouse game. Will she make it out alive? Targeted is a thrilling, suspenseful novel that is laced with erotica and romance. It will leave you turning pages to find out who did it and why.
This was an okay read. The build up in the beginning of the story, was exciting and suspenseful, only to feel let down in the end. From the middle to the end of the book, the typos began to become a problem. There were also words missing from sentences that made me reread, for understanding. It felt like there were too many loose ends that never were developed, or resolved. Amarie and Tameeka's friendship felt odd to me. If they were so close why didn't Tameeka tell Amarie that the money she was making, was not enough to live from? That relationship with Trent was strange as hell too! Then set him up with your boss? Where they do that at? 👀 It wasn't terrible, just wasn't for me.
A different read for my norm right now, but well worth the read. With some interesting characters, some crazy drama, secrets, and a little love. I loved the flow of the storyline, and definitely loved the drama.
This is an awesome book filled with love, drama, suspense and action!!! The book was great from beginning to end and it kept me wanting more and more!!! The plot twist was excellent!!! This book is a must read and I thoroughly enjoyed it!!! Keep up the good work!!!
Although the story had many layers, a few plots in the story were not cleared up in my point of view. What about the man in the closet, who was it really, and what happened with the license issue? If you overlook those points, the story is pretty good.
Short book, less than 200 pages. Mysterious for sure, wouldn't classify it as a romance though there are some romantic elements, the overall plot was a mystery/thriller. And that is what captured me the most. The romance was lackluster and very messy. Not many characters and there wasn't much character development. Overall I thought it was good and it held my attention for sure!
So I chose Targeted as my first choice in Nadia Nicole November read , now Nadia giiiiirrrrrl you had me like 😮😬🤔😳. When I tell you I thought Trent was the one targeting her. Boy was I wrong, so wrong. This book grabbed you by the collar on the very first page. This book was suspenseful and such a page turner. I really enjoyed reading this.
This book needs to be heavily edited. I was confused in the beginning on why Trent was in her closet like he’s a creep and even more confused on why he needed to steal her ID as if he wasn’t part of the FBI and could get the information himself.
I'm not usually a fan of stories told in more than 3 POVs, but the author did a great job at character development. The plot was intriguing, and I loved the ending. I would've given it 5 stars, but there were quite a few proofreading errors. I look forward to reading more of her work.
2 1/2 stars This was an okay quick read. I don’t like when books have grammar and spelling errors. Storyline was a little unrealistic but it was entertaining.
Thus book was bomb! From emotional to messy to target to love! I had to give this book a 5star very well written it was a little movie in my head as I read about Snakes and Tamika! Great read! I definitely recommend!
