DURING 2024 THIS SERIES, B1 TO B3, IS BEING UPDATED AND EDITED AGAIN TO MAKE THE QUALITY BETTER. I WOULD ADVISE TO JUST ADD IT TO TBR UNTIL THIS MESSAGE IS GONE. It has a lot of shifters, Greek mythology, fae lore, Norse mythology, and various supernatural things in general. It follows three sisters, and each has their own romance that varies in speed/style due to the nature of the FMCs.

Conviction of the Damned by Tierney Storer is a supernatural novel. It's the first book from the Superno Academy series.
The story is about three sisters that had been through hell in their short lives. They were close and protective of each other. Then one day they were told that they were Fae and were transported to Superno Academy. On their first day there the girls found out a few things about their family and also made instantly many enemies. Being torn away from the only life they knew wasn't ideal for them but they weren't quitters. The Princesses were going to achieve the goal they had set no matter who they had to kill.
I think that this was a great start for this series. It gives enough information so you can understand what's going on but also has a little bit of mystery. That makes the plot engaging and easy to follow. I love how much action it has with the physical and supernatural fights. The characters, both main and secondary, were incredible. The female trio was badasses in their own ways. One was a fighter, the other kind of psycho and the third acted as a supporter/healer. The Heirs were a bit of asshats most of the time but I liked a few of them. There were a few very intense scenes between two of the girls and a few of the male characters. My favorite scene was the fight in the woods.
I can't wait to see what happens next. I will rate it with 4 stars.
I heard about this book from the authors TikTok and thought I would give it a try. I was not disappointed (the beginning was a little slow but that is to be expected in a 1st book of a series because world building needs to happen), the characters are great and really well fleshed out, the story is gripping from the get go and it makes you really want to keep reading. I enjoyed the author’s writing and am looking forward to reading the next book (I’m actually going to start it right now). The world is fleshed out amazingly and you can picture the various places the author is talking about as if you were there, which is always great to get you engrossed and immersed in a book. There are characters you will hate, ones that you will love and ones that you will love to hate, this book has it all. The author also tackles some real world discussions very well and sensitively, while not making it seem glossed over. If you like fantasy and/or fantasy romance then this is definitely the book for you. You will not be disappointed in this book
I’m reading Conviction of the Damned and Gods Favor the Sinners in preparation for the release of book 3.
I had a little trouble getting into it at first, but after a few POV switches I was hooked. Kaida, Dari, and Laina have such a heartbreaking but also amazing story and the people they’ve met since returning are just 👀
I want to hate them but I love *most* of them and I can’t wait to jump over to Gods Favor the Sinners to keep going after that ending! 😳
Definitely recommend but be sure to hang in there if the beginning feels slow for you! 💜
This was a beautifully-written novel that captured my attention from the very first page. I was curious in what events led up to this point, as well as where the story may go from here. I am about to start the second book in the series, and I can't wait to get started.
It is basically Zodiac Academy with one extra FMC, triplets instead of twins. There were way too many similarities for me to get into the story and view it as its own. Read the second book to see if the story took any significant turn/difference from ZA but it still felt too similar so gave up by book 3.
I received this book and the next in preparation for the third. It took me a little bit to get into it. The flipping between POVs took some getting used to.
Once I got into the story, it was great! The sisters have such a sad story and so much love for each other. I could only hope to find “ride or die” people in my life like them.
I can’t wait to read more about the sisters, their powers and this world.
I really really wanted to give this book 5 stars. The overall story was great. kaida is my favorite character in the book and I’m excited to see how she develops further. Dari and Ryders story is also getting exciting and I can’t wait to learn more about their past. I didn’t care much for Laina only because her story line kinda faded into the background. Given she is the first to show any power I thought her story would grow more than it did but it did not.
The story itself is exciting and is a fun take on a fae universe. Three sisters whisked away to the human world after their evil parents were killed. They are then thrust back into the fae world knowing nothing of their childhood there and growing up as foster kids with various trauma from that but it forced them to be strong. There is a college rivalry vibe that they are now trying to navigate as well.
I had to go with 4 stars for a couple reasons.
There were a few inconsistencies to the story/characters. They were minor enough for me to somewhat ignore and just move along with the story but it was a bit bothersome.
Example: Kaida has OCD and also loathes being touched. But then she is suddenly fine with random touches. She even mentions at one point that she hates lip gloss or anything sticky but then later on she says she loves all makeup and experimenting with it.
This continues on throughout the book such as Dari is someone who “doesn’t care” what others think but then she seems to constantly be bothered by comments and stares.
If you can get past the above then it’s a good book. If the things above are addressed it could be a great book.
If you love fantasy fae reads you will LOVE this one! Not only is it fae but enemies to lovers . Right from the start there was so much action and it just kept that pace the whole read! I loved the drama, the multiple POV, and the way each character is so different to the next! Please check the trigger warnings before reading.
Ok! So I actually had the author recommend their book to me and I loved it!!! I love how the story balances the tones of the story perfectly. It doesn’t feel dragged out, pacing is great! Dari is bae. I can’t wait for the next book! So proud of this author! 🤍
I really enjoyed it, which might not come as a surprise considering it was very similar to Zodiac academy. It did get a bit slow towards the end, though, which is the biggest reason for my low rating.
I also had some issues with the grammar. At least, I think so? English is not my first language so I might be wrong but since I was learned to write it in a different way so it really irked me how it was written the entire book. It was the lack of comma’s before namecalling. It made it very weird to read for me since it often just felt like words thrown into a sentence. For example, it was written “It’s strange to see you again Kat” and “the only problem I have is being here crazy bitch” instead of “It’s strange to see you again, Kat” and “The only problem I have is being here, crazy bitch”.
Can someone in the comments please let me know what is correct? I’m happy to learn and correct my ways if I am incorrect.
LOOK UP TW’S OR ASK THE AUTHOR OR SOMEONE WHO HAS READ THE BOOK
Thank you to the author for providing me with a free copy in exchange for an honest review
There’s a fine line between enemies and bullies. This first book in Storer’s fantasy series crossed too far into the bullies area for me. This was practically bully to lover with a splash of insta love.
FYI, there’ll be slight spoilers in this review, but no major plot points are revealed.
There’s a lot I didn’t understand reading this. So many storylines that got scrambled and pieces that could have been written a lot better. It was a lot of telling and too little showing.
The three main characters get thrown into a life as princesses of a realm they had never heard of until there were more or less kidnapped to it. You immediately get introduced to a dozen handfuls of new characters, of which 85% are very unfriendly and the other 15% is overly friendly upon meeting them. While there are diverse characters, this book still fell into the trap of having stereotypical mean girls and bullies that are trying too hard to prove they are friends when no one else is around. It was confusing on more than one occasion. We are told the three sisters are long lost princesses of the realm and that they should be glad to have returned home where they belong. The so-called enemies used to be some of their best friends before they were kidnapped/stolen/brought (this is not investigated, but maybe in the next instalment?) to the mortal realm. Why are they suddenly bullying the MC’s as if their lives literally depend on it? You cannot convince me it was just because their parents were awful rulers. They all used to be friends when the MC’s parents ruled, so that makes zero sense.
There were more plot lines that didn’t wholly make sense, but I did want to keep reading and finish, which is what saved this book from a 2-star rating. The sisters were interesting to read about, as they are complete opposites of each other. There’s BIPOC characters and queer characters and there were scenes that made me laugh. I am, however, unsure wether the author researched mental illnesses well enough to write whole characters around them.
The author provided me with the second and third book as well and I will still be diving into those. Unsure wether or not I’ll continue with book 4.
POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD! (I can't be sure if they would be considered spoilers, so I just wanted to put this here just in case)
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait to get into book 2! My only complaint, really, is how long it took to pick up. I definitely appreciate the author taking the time to set the scene and give us a little background on the girls themselves, but it just felt like it took so long for the story to pick up speed and really introduce a direction.
I am excited to (hopefully) see secrets come to light and I really hope the girls accept that their adversaries are not the ones they think they are. I want so much out of this book relationship-wise, I don't even know how to handle it! >.< There are moments where I can't decide who I would be happiest seeing Kaida end up with, but I always settle on Cal. haha Otherwise, I am LIVING for Dari and Ryder!
I would definitely recommend this book to a friend or anyone really that's looking for a little magic and a whole lot of action! Just be prepared to maybe put in the effort until the book picks up some speed! Overall great read! On to book 2! :D
This book took me totally by surprise! I'll admit, I'm kind of burned out on books about fae. There are a few popular ones (that shall not be named) that inspired dozens of similar stories and they all felt too similar. This take on fae was so new and interesting. I couldn't put it down.
The first chapter started with action and the book really hit the ground running. There were a few times where world building made me feel impatient but only because I was so fixated on the drama and action the sisters were going through.
Each sister had such a unique personality but somehow they meshed perfectly as a group. Kaida was my favorite--I related to her anxieties so much. The initial threats and violence between her and Dari were a little shocking but in a thrilling sort of way. Like wow, they did not beat around the bush.
I wanted a little more romance as I sensed ( or hoped) some of this going heading in the enemies-to-lovers direction but I'm sure that will come in the next book. Overall, I highly recommend this is you love fantasy with great world building and unique characters. There was so much depth to this story and it's only just beginning!
I love these sisters. Dari, Kaida, and Laina, are triplets who are so different from each other, but bound by love. The three-person POV makes this first installation in the “Superno Academy” series exciting and interesting. Getting to know each sister's character opens the door for future installments. The sisters are badass and it shows in their interaction with the “Heirs”, as well as the other students and the facility. The cliffhanger ending is twisted and I loved it! I could not put this book down until the end. I HIGHLY recommend starting this series. It deserves 5+ Stars.

This was a difficult read for me. The format (lack of chapter links) is not compatible with Alexa so if you miss something when she is reading, your only option is to go back in 30 second increments or start over entirely. She also will not read the chapter names because of the formatting so it can be confusing at times as to which FMC POV we are in until their specific love interest is present.
As far as the storyline goes...a lot happens and there is potential for the remaining books. I'm intrigued despite how difficult it was to follow at times.
I got this book through a stuff your Kindle event. The three person POV style is interesting. The world the author is building is interesting but at times there are holes in the plot that don’t lineup like at one point they’re 19 and another point they’re 18 or words are misspelled that are easy or common. I think this book could’ve used another round of editing before being released. Other than that this was fun that I could not put down. I subtracted one star because the inconsistencies impacted my reading experience.
I like the story & the characters But it is soooo similar to zodiac academy and for that I won’t be continuing the series- because it becomes to predictable for me - if you haven’t read ZA then this will be fine for a new reader. It’s just to similar for me. Unfortunately all I’ve done is compare all the similarities in this book to za and kind of ruined the reading experience for me. But still for others this might be a great new series.
It took me some time to get used to reading with three pov’s, but once i had gotten used to it the book was amazing!
Everything from the character building, world building, story line and surprises along the was proof how much effort, imagination and dedication has been put into this book. I love how the author takes a topic (fae) that is well used and gives it a whole new perspective.
The reason why i ended on 4 stars was because of how long it took me to get used to the three pov’s. I also feel like during the first few chapters, theres so much information and so many people being introduced at once.
Would definitely read again!🥰

Loved the plot overall, thought it was well planned. I enjoyed how we got to see the girls over a few weeks as they started school in the fall, and how the book culminates about a month after their starting, because I dislike when books plot lasts for like a week, or alternatively, a year. I think the multi pov was wicked once you got used to it & I am in love with kaida!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE. The mental health issues are so well done. As a person who has OCD myself I despise people thinking it just means you clean a lot. The way kaida is written is excellent; her intrusive thoughts, anxieties, reckless behaviour and the strictness with her routines are so familiar and I'm so happy to see myself in her.
Found on tiktok and don't regret. I love how the author has trigger warnings listed on her bio for each series, as she talks about various dark topics or mental health issues really good & I like being prepared. The book flowed smoothly, I like how realistic the timeframe was e.g. no insta love. I'm excited to figure out what happens with David and the powers
This was a well written novel that entrapped my attention from the very first page. I wanted to know what events led up to this point, as well as where the story may go from here. I can't wait to get started on the second book.

Absolutely amazing, for a new author, this is enthralling. I couldn't put it down, definitely reading the next two. I won't spoil it by telling you what it's about, but I definitely recommend you read it.
It took me a little while to actually get into this book because it starts kinda slow. But once you start to get to know Laina, Dari and Kaida you will find it well worth it.

This was an amazing way to set up this series. While it was a bit slow to start for me, once it grabbed my attention and really held it. This is rich in backstory and world building. I found this to be unique and I cant wait to read more of the Superno Academy series.
