In a world where Omegas are cherished, Alphas are revered, and Betas are forgotten I wouldn’t have changed a thing.
Growing up in foster care, my friends and I took care of each other. Ares, Killian, Rafe, and Nox, were my everything: my first loves, my only family, my pack.
The same night they told me we’d be together forever, I presented as an omega, and everything changed.
They betrayed me and turned me over to the institute where Omegas are auctioned off to the highest bidder. I thought I’d never see them again…
But four years later, they came back for me.
Four alphas. One omega. A pack bond that couldn’t be broken.
Pack Origin is the first five chapters of Pack Bound.

I knew this was a novella. I knew I would be pissed at the end because I would want more... and did i read it still... YES. Am i pissed that it ended the way it did, absolutely!😭
Bliss lives in a foster home with her foster parents and several other kids. But she has created four life long friends that stand out from the rest. Even though she's a beta and they are all alphas, they have always protected and supported her.
Usually as a beta you're told that it's dangerous to hangout with alphas but Bliss knew her guys would always be there for her. Well.. they were, until they weren't. Once things started to get a little too real for the guys they had to turn Bliss in.
They betrayed her and let her go when they said they never would. Now she's alone and has vowed to never let anyone take advantage of her trust ever again.
⭐️11/10 recommend - I NEED MORE ASAP
😈reverse harem / omegaverse /friends to enemies / betrayal
I got to the part where one of the guys says that they'd all slept around with other women just to pass the time until she was ready, and I tossed it into my DNF pile. Umm...that's cheating to me. If you know she's yours, and you sleep around (especially if she doesn't sleep with anyone...I asked, no one answered, so I'm assuming she's a virgin. Ugh.) you're a cheater. And the other guy says they've all been celibate for a year because surprise surprise, she's hurt that her guys are manwhores while taking turns sleeping in her bed. Wtf. They've been celibate for a year...they're 17. So they STOPPED being manwhores at 16. I feel like this was an enormous missed opportunity for them to be faithful since they were all in love with her, AND they were all children. Is it really just me? Honestly? I just don't get it.
Update - please read the short prologue i.e this book. The actual book hasn't included this prologue and if you're in any way like me.."someone who reads multiple books in a month but is unable to keep track of all the stories because you're already onto a new story"..well you NEED to read this prologue.
I can't get over the fact that Ares smells like a "cloudless night sky"! Can someone please describe that scent to me?! 🤷🏾♀️
So this one is a short prologue of a yet to be released book, which you don't really have to read because I guess it will be added to the actual book when it comes out next month. But I'm kinda interested so far. The heroine and her 4 alpha-guy friends live in a foster home. The heroine unexpectedly turns out to be an omega and instead of keeping her with them, the guys leave her at the Omega center for ''a good reason''. I don't hate the guys for what they did, but I can't wait for the time leap!
This is the first 5 chapters of a book coming out in Spring 2022. And I decided to torture myself and read them, even though I knew I’d have to wait for the rest 😅
Prequel novella for new non-shifter omegaverse RH with rejected mate trope. Multi-POV.
It was ok, just lacked depth on the main characters or the already established relationships for me. There's a lot of stated relationship/connection like the FMC thinking of the guys as her best friends or "my boys" or the guys thinking they're in love with her - but I didn't feel enough depth to it. I didn't feel the pre-established connections, more like was stated. The guys are protective/possessive of her, but their behavior ran hot/tepid even before the end. The FMC was bland, not having much established for her character other than being all about "her boys". Other than being drawn to their scents, I have no idea why she's it for them or vice versa. The ending should have felt gut wrenching, but I was just eh cause I didn't really feel strongly for any of the characters.
The prequel sets up the friends-could've-been-lovers turned enemies when they reject her (thinking it's her best protection).
Intriguing and full of promise, this short prequel for a new series did exactly what it was meant to do - capture my attention and left me wanting more. So excited for the full book to come!
I usually don't give prequel novellas such a high rating but what can I say? I'm a sucker for the friends to enemies to lovers trope and it brought me a gross sense of satisfaction watching this pack of friends get broken up. 🤣 The spice is minimal/non existent here because the whole goal was to give background on how close everyone was together before Bliss emerged as an Omega and I think that they succeeded on that front whole heartedly. Seeing how protective everyone was over their found foster family warmed my heart but it also made the ending hurt that much more even though I knew it was coming. Maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment but it made me SO excited to see how everything is gonna pan out once I eventually start Pack Bound! 😈
The male narrator for this book is AWFUL! In his attempt to give each guy a unique voice, he ended up choosing a weird mix of Voldemort and Batman. It is very unappealing. I am in the mood for an omegaverse so I will pick up book 2 and hopefully I get used to the voice. I can already tell this FMC is going to get on my fucking nerves though. I understand that she is unexpectantly going through a transition in this book, but she is completely overreacting about the boys' supposed betrayal. They are obviously trying to keep her safe. Hopefully the guys are easier to differentiate moving forward. All 4 felt like the same person in this novella. There just isn't enough page time to flesh out characters, so I'll give book 2 a chance.
In reality, we’d always find a way to do whatever she needed. Because every single one of us was in love with her, and every decision started and ended with Bliss.
Whyyyyy did I tease myself this way?! I need more and I need it now. I am so excited or this series. My obsession with omegaverse knows no bounds. I know this is just a prequel/novella, but I already feel like this is going to have a unique take on the typicaly omegaverse world and I am here for it. I am the worst with cliffhangers, so I'll just be over here silenty fuming until I can get more.
This is a short novella to give us an introduction to Bliss and her guys. This bad boy is short (obviously) and packed a punch!
I have only read one Omegaverse that I have liked, and I have a feeling this will be added to that list if the novella is anything to go by!
The cliffhanger was expected, but the way the authors wrote it.. it was gut wrenching. It was wrote amazingly with so much emotion that you felt like it was you experiencing it. I loved it.
This book has tons of build up for what’s your come. The wait for book one is going to kill me.
Since this is a prequel novella it was a very short and quick read. The characters are also in high school so there is no sex in this book. There is some sexual tension and you can definitely feel how all these characters care a lot for each other. The alphas are very protective of Bliss and caring so it felt obvious to me their crushes on Bliss. And vice versa, it felt very obvious how much Bliss liked all the alphas: Killian, Nox, Rafe, and Ares.
It does a great job of setting up the series and how everything works in this omegaverse world so I would say you need to read it in order to understand what is going to happen next in the series. I think if you don't you will still understand it? But this gives you a pretty clear picture of everyone's feelings on Bliss going to the institute, before and after it happens. Also when I downloaded Pack Bound I thought this was going to be in that book (since it says first 5 chapters of Pack Bound) but that wasn't the case. So even though it is mentioned a bit in Pack Bound about the guys calling the institute on her and overall feelings, I think this first novella shows a little glimpse inside what could happen next...
The novella definitely left me wanting to quickly pick up Pack Bound and see where everything will go, so the fact that this series is now complete? I would say the novella did a good job of giving some pretty good information, world building, and leaving you wanting more.
It wasn’t that long ago when I said I wouldn’t read contemporary romances, I was a strictly Regency Romance girl. 250 books later…I proceeded to say the same thing about fantasy/paranormal or basically anything else not strictly human. But here I am dipping my toes into Omegaverse and I gotta say, I’m very intrigued.
I liked this prequel because it helped 1) me understand this new universe, and 2) setup the backstory for these characters. I am ready rooting for Bliss and can’t wait to see how this story unfolds, which takes 4 years after this novella!
While there is no real spice, there is plenty of palpable tension and desire.
I’ve had this book a little while but after seeing it advertised again today I decided to give it a read. My brain is not taking much in at the moment so I wanted something fast that had me hooked and this story ticked those boxes perfectly.
This book starts at the beginning of Bliss’s journey into presenting as an Omega. After a dare to kiss an alpha friend her omega designation starts to appear. Bliss not knowing what she is doesn’t seem the signs until the alphas around her all start growling and she starts to scent everything.
I’m already invested in the story of this group, their background and what brought them together is so different to other Omegaverse stories. Even though it was only the prequel novella there was so much emotion in each of the characters. That ending had my heart breaking into pieces 💔 I love the dynamic of this pack and I can’t wait to see where the next part of the story takes them.
This is a short prelude to a much longer story, but it stands out because it centers on high school students who actually KNOW they are high school students and not ready for the dangers this world will bring them. I liked that. All too often we see books with very young protagonists who are actually fully immersed in the adult world and act with adult reactions instead of the young adults they actually are. Not saying teens can’t be mature, but rarely ALL the time, and few can manage the stresses ALL the time. Heck, most adults can’t either. I appreciated a book that basically allows them to mature and grow into the characters we’ll love in the future.
Okay, I'm obsessed! This is a prequel story for the Blissful Omegaverse. It takes place when the characters are still in High-school and book 1, Pack Bound will be 5 years later. ✅ Omegaverse ✅ Found Family ✅ Sweet Omegaverse ✅ coming of age ✅ Touch her and unalive
I love friends-to-lovers! What could make it better? I'd say four friends to lovers. I can say I absolutely would not have enjoyed "Pack Bound" (Book 1) had I not read this first. We get POVs from all characters. The actions that separate these Alphas from their Omega was heartbreaking! For the guys and gal. Great introduction to the series.
