The third installment of Rayne Matthews' bestselling MC series brings us Soulless Ryders' National President George Pederson. After the untimely and brutal murder of former president Walt, George is patched in and upgraded from VP. But not everyone is happy with the promotion, least of all Spade, the new VP. The city of Indio has a lot of dark secrets, and George holds most of them close to his chest. A self-proclaimed jerk, his attitude and actions continue to alienate him from the club and Crazy Bill, the man he loves. It's not easy being a gay man in a motorcycle club in 1969, but George makes the most of it, hoping to find love amongst the chaos he creates. But will trusting the wrong man destroy everything he's worked for?
Rayne Matthews was born in the Desert of Southern California, and now resides in Los Angeles, with her husband, four children, two dogs, and a maniacal cat. After the "zoo" is closed each night, she enjoys reality TV, reading, and writing stories that make people question her sanity.
She is the author of dark romances such as the Twisted Road Series, Soulless Ryders Origins Series. Reverse harem suspenseful thriller Dilemma Duet, and revenge thriller The Journal.
Ohh Georgie personified his place as Satan! He’s true evil. Understanding his story doesn’t change my feelings for him. This book will break him open and explain his thought process, but he’s so twisted and just mean. One more piece of the Soulless Ryders’s history.
Now let’s talk about these smexy scenes, ohhh goodness, the steam level was ratcheted up in this book, and I was here for it 🥵🥵🥵
George is a very very broken guy.. he doesn't have a single healty relationship. Every relationship he had was build with lies or secrets. He had a hard past so that is the main reason why he is so broken and he do it to him self. He set himself to destruction. It was interesting to read from his POV. It gave me a way to understand him. Maybe not be happy with his decisions but at least understand why he is that way.
This book got me so mad.. every 5 minutes I was screaming to the book. George got me really mad and very fast. But underneath the broken and angry he was just a guy that needed acceptance and love. But he didn't knew how to ask for it. At some point I was oh I think I like him and then he did some stupid thing and I was nope never mind. I have a love/hate relationship with him.
Can we talk about the bed scenes... I want more... it got me needing more of them...
George is CRAZY he did a lot of really mess up things that wow blew my mind. This was very different and very interesting.
With each book the puzzle is coming together. Can't wait to read next book.
I have read the other books in the Soulless Ryders series (they can be read as stand alone but I highly recommend you read them all). This leads to in the other two books I hated George. Well hate is putting it mildly. So when I picked up this book I cringed to see where the story about George would go. Well let me tell you my emotions were all over the place. Each chapter my mind would go to how I could off George. I didn't know I could create so many ways. So why read the book well the other characters I needed to keep up with . Also Ms. Matthews creates story that you get personally invested in. With all of the mayhem, angst, steamy moments, more mayhem, murder, friends and foes you will be immersed in the story from page one. Even though I hate George there were movements I was hoping he would redeem himself only for him to disappoint me more. I can't wait to see where all of the characters go in the next read.
Absolutely loved this third installment in the series! While I can't say that I personally liked George, but that this story was much needed in the series. As with every book that I have read in this series, I was kept on edge and definitely couldn't figure out how I wanted to feel about everything. I couldn't decide on just one emotion. Tied in perfectly with the first two to keep things moving along. I needed to read his story and while I understand where he came from, I don't think I will ever really get over hating him. I'm just being honest, it doesn't mean that I didn't like the story because I FREAKING LOVED IT! Loved that it was his POV as well, it helped put things more into perspective for me. There is just something I enjoy about reading from my characters POV. Can't wait to keep reading more from her as an author and more in this series!
George... Book 3 of the Soulless Ryders Origins books. What a ride this one was. George is a piece of work. If you've read any of the previous Origins books, you know this as much as I do. He has a warped sense of honor, loyalty, and will do anything to get what he wants. I'd like to say some not so nice things will change him, but I doubt that's even a possibility. We shall see I guess.
I am really enjoying Rayne's storytelling of the Ryders and all the players around them. Some I love, some I love to hate. Overall, I am glad I found Rayne and her books. I look forward to the many more adventures I have with her and her characters.
I received a review copy of this book, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I was hesitant to read this book because there was no part of me that felt George could be redeemable or likeable in any way but that’s what Rayne does best. She takes characters that you should never feel empathy for and makes you do it any way. I still don’t like George and he’s not redeemable for me but I understand him and his role in this world is paramount. This book was filled with tortured souls trying to find their place in a world that didn’t understand them and that didn’t understand themselves. I am excited to see what George builds with the Ghouls and I hope that one day we get to see Andrew as an adult!
If you have not picked up a book by Rayne Matthew's, please do because her books will reel you in wanting more. I love how this series of Soulless Ryder's is broken down with learning about my favorites Crazy Bill and Walt. This book is all about George and even though he is a sexy man, he has a way about him that can make you not like him. In this book you will learn about George and have a better understanding of why he is the man he is. I can't wait to read about Lou! Grab a Rayne Matthew's book and start reading today, believe me, you will love her writing!
The Soulless Ryders series resumes with the man everyone loves to hate. George doesn’t by any means redeem himself in this story. With all the murder and mayhem going on you will be turning page after page to what he does next. Can’t wait to read the next installment in this series. The books just keep getting better and better. Rayne Matthews sure takes us on one wild ride in this one. I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving an arc copy for an honest review.
George certainly doesnt disappoint! taking the mantel is never easy but for George his crazy ways quick to temper and ruthless nature make him a formidable character and leader of the Soulless Ryders. the twists and turns the steamy scenes, action and more keep you glued to the story and i cant wait for more!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
George is not the kind of guy who has many redeemable qualities. There wasn't a single moment where I didn't want to just walk away from this book. Yet, I could not stop reading to see what happened next. He never missed an opportunity to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. Then he goes and shows a crack of vulnerability... UGH!
Very well done and highly recommended.

NO NO NO that's what I'm screaming looking at : THE END" this has ben a ride with the James Bond effect " shaken stirred and with an unadulterated lust for everything dirty deceitful and definitely evil. George is a charmer with his own rules, shake his hand count your fingers😈 I voluntarily reviewed this book.
The third installment in the Soulless Ryder's origins. George is a true devil but in his book l can understand him more. He is ruthless and powerful. He takes what he wants but he has a vulnerability to him that redeems him somehow. He is a complex character and does things that are ruthless. Rayne does an amazing job with this series. Can't wait for the next installment!!!!!
what can i say about George.... this guy doesnt have a redeemable bone in his body. even when you think you might like him... he goes and fucks it all up.. Rayne writes books that make you invested.. not matter how much you hate the character. lol. cant wait for the next book in the series
George was the character you loved to hate! There were so many secrets and juiciness revealed in this book! Such a compliment to the series! I couldn’t get enough! It was a serious page turner!
What an amazing third edition to the series. We finally get George's story and what is going on in his head. Even though I dislike him the story was so good and worth the wait. Great job Rayne.
George is a guy you love to hate and good looking to boot this book keeps you flipping the pages cause you can’t help to know what’s happening next or what’s he up to now this is a great series
