Preposterous Papa

Rate this book
Over thirty years after its original publication, Preposterous Papa is more touching and zany than ever, an unforgettable portrait of a father by his son. The book is a glowing portrait of Oklahoma and Texas after the turn of the century, an evocative story of a time now long gone by, a reminiscence about a man who moved to the prairies in 1906 with a bushel of dreams and an arsenal of pranks. A magnificent, homespun tale destined to be a classic for another generation.
