Outward Sky picks up after the explosive end of book 5, with the main characters unexpectedly diverted from galaxy-menacing dark forces to explore...the deeper meaning of family and friendships? Yup, but the action continues apace as the series drives on towards an epic confrontation.

Fun series, above-average for the genre. Plot twists keep it interesting, and while no one will mistake the book's characters for refugees from a Dostoevsky novel, they are unusually deep and grapple with real human "stuff" -- all while adventuring across the universe. Excellent entertainment.

Gunn is gone, muerte, caput and everyone is lost. But! Is he really? Are certain characters who they are? This book, masterfully written by the author, keeps the readers on their toes. By keeping the suspense on the following; Is Gunn's father dead? Where is Gunn's mother? What is Hepatia? Is Hecacte Black the real mastermind behind the species who wish to control the universe? Who is Pasha and what role will she play in all of that and, why is Earth's location hidden?
There may not be as much action in this book as the previous one as the author uses his gift to take the readers on site where meetings are held and strategies discussed. The common goal being to "nul" Black and her band of cutthroats.
This is all done among grief, major revelations and an array of twists and turns. Oh! Yeah! 5 STARS.

Loved it! Non-stop action with lots of twists, turns, bumps, and pot holes in the road. The crew is still trying to take out Grey, but they continue to have trouble getting and keeping allies. How do you destroy something that can’t be destroyed and stay out of its reach while you’re at it?!
This has been a great story arc, but I AM ready for the author to bring it to an end and start a new one.

After everything that has happened so far Salvo has managed to survive to this point but not without a lot of problems and deaths. She deserves a break but of course things start to heat up again and the fun and games begin..... again. Entertaining and fun to read as things start up again. Had to see how it would go this time around and what surprises were in store for all.

Very good book/ series. A must read really.

It is very good well thought out, interesting in solo many ways. I think it is just getting better as the series continues, unlike many series in which after a fresh vibrant start things become boring this builds the suspense across volumes.

Books 1-6

Read about "space vampires" and controllable bad guy zombies. This is non stop stop hide n seek run and gun stories of good vs evil. Many stories within the book but you don't get lost
