Wow. There’s a lot going on in this book, and I didn’t realize how much of my day it was going to run away with. Once I got started, I couldn’t put the book down. Anything involving a Bancroft will be far from simple, and Jenson has the ability to further complicate even the most complex of existing situations. The times I didn’t want to smack him for being a jerk, I wanted to hug the stuffing out of him. I spent the first little while flip-flopping about Selena. I think a lot of that had to do with how much of her personality reminded me of my own. She talks a good game in her head and to her best friend, but when confronted, she mostly folds like a bad poker hand. Once we really got into the story and I was able to see how she stands with Jenson and supports him, I pretty much loved everything about their relationship. I hate realizing that this is probably our last foray into the world of the Bancroft brothers, but if the tabloids are still digging into the possibility of more baby-mamas, I’m crossing my fingers that maybe we haven’t seen the last of this family yet.

Selena and Jenson's chemistry was explosive and they were so perfect for each other. They each helped the other grow into their full potential and complimented each other. It was a slow burn romance that began with her not liking him that much. He was one of the Bancroft brothers and was not only wealthy but arrogant. No shortage of drama or family dynamics. I really enjoyed this book and found it hard to put down. So grab a comfortable spot and your favorite beverage because once you start reading you won't want to stop. Well written with strong, well developed characters and an entertaining story line. I read an advance copy via the author and voluntarily chose to write a review.

The hero is so immature, selfish, and careless, I started to hope something bad happened to him. The heroine is so weak and dick-whipped, she kept coming back to him even AFTER she knew his actions put her life in danger. They both deserved to be tortured. Hated this book. DNFed.

I usually try to write a review within a day of completing the book. I must admit it’s taken me a couple of days to write about “Bad Boy Love Affair” by Ali Parker. This is not a book you quickly read. There’s a lot going on in this story and it’s so good! I’ve read a lot of books by this author and somehow never read any in the Bancroft Brothers Billionaire series. In one way it’s exciting because I get to go back and enjoy all the stories about the various brothers for the very first time. I also get to reassure you that even if you haven’t had the pleasure of reading any of the other books that came before this one, you’ll still be able to understand and enjoy it.
Jenson is the ‘black sheep’ in an illustrious family of very successful brothers born to two different women. (Ironically, he’s the only one who doesn’t have dark hair). He has a long history of making bad decisions and getting into big trouble. Even he’s tired of his nonsense. More than anything in the world, he wants his family to respect him. He manages to get the money together to purchase a casino and is confident it’s going to be his path to financial success and respectability. When he shows up in his new offices, he discovers Selena. She was the highly capable executive assistant to the former owner of the casino. Selena is very serious about her job and doesn’t know how to deal with the new owner, who’s incredibly attractive but also incredibly obnoxious and never takes anything seriously. Jenson’s past catches up with him suddenly and everyone involved in his life is in serious danger, especially Selena and his family.
This story is so full of angst, nicely balanced by different types of humor, excellent banter, steamy scenes, and lots of family drama. Jenson’s big family provides plenty of secondary characters, added to by Selena’s best friend and confidant, and even by Selena’s small family. More than once, I wished I could shake Jenson, and even more frequently I wished I could hug him. He and Selena deserved a happy ending, and with the way things kept going wrong, I couldn’t figure out how they would get it. The ending turned out to be even better than I could have hoped. Such a great story!

Bad boy Jenson finds his saver
Selena is a personal assistant to the owner of the Casino. He original owner has retired and she hasn't meet the new owner.
He's handsome and arrogant. He comes in when he wants. When he finds out she is his assistant he sends on errands to pick up ridiculous things. Down to condoms and underwear. She's furious at him for treating her like that. She is his right had person in running the business and office fir the Casino.
When he finds out how deep he is in trouble for winning big in a casino in Vegas. Three goons come to collect from him because they feel he scammed them.
They came to collect their five million dollars or they are going to go after Selena and his family.
Selena stands by him through thick and thin. The sexual tension between them is amazing and it seems to ground Jenson. He goes to his family for help to bail him out but they tell him "No". They have helped him before and he keeps getting in trouble.
He tries everything he can on his own but can only come up with three million.
In the mean time he is starting to have feelings for Selena because she stands by him when his family seems to have abandoned him.
He has until Christmas eve to come up with the money. The goons sent him pictures of all his family threatening him.
He panics and goes to Kathy Bancroft the matriarch of the Bancroft billionaires to ask for help. She refuses him, but he knows she has been there for him and his three brothers.
Great story to the end when his eight brothers all rally around to help him out when he delivers the money.
Selena is the woman he has been looking for all of his life. She stayed with him through it all. She brought out some things he didn't know he had in himself.
Great story of love and family.

This is the latest book in The Bancroft Brothers written by the best selling author, Ali Parker. If you've read the previous books then you know that Jenson is not really expected to make a success of his life due to his previous poor life choices. But after a major issue a while back he is sick and tired of not being as good as his brothers and is determined to turn his life around. But Jenson being Jenson, life is not always easy. However, he is really lucky that his PA at the casino that he now owns is a real star and one beautiful young woman who is feisty, intelligent and the one person who can keep him on track. He doesn't 'do' relationships but Selena makes him think and do things that he has never done before. Their first meeting is less than auspicious as he asks her to go and buy him extra large condoms for a date that night! Oh boy! He was lucky that she didn't walk out then and there. When trouble comes knocking at his door again, he is really petrified as this time it's not his life in danger but Selena's and he cares too much for her. When he goes to his brother's and Kathy for help he is devastated when they refuse - if only they had told him why he needed the help!! This is one red hot, steamy storyline [set your a/c on as life gets HOT] with passionate characters - a hero that doesn't realise that he can be one and a feisty female that is determined to have a HEA with him. I am so very pleased that his Mum chucked Ron [vile stepfather of Jenson] to the curb. A great page turning story that you won't be able to put down till you've completed it. Jenson's life has been one hustle after another trying to grasp the good life everyone else has. He just didn't expect how big a part his new assistant would play. Selena has worked herself up the ladder to get where she is as an assistant to the casino owner, now she has a new boss. If she didn't need this job to put a roof over her head she'd quit and concentrate on selling her ceramics!! Cocky, insufferable jerk who knows nothing about running a business... who asks their assistant to buy them condoms?! When Jenson's hustle comes to bite not only his rear, but threatens those around him, life gets real and fast. Short cuts...they rarely work out. And if we are looking at using shortcuts to get 5 million dollars. Well that just has trouble written all over it.
Jenson is the youngest of 3 brothers. His older brothers have made a life for themselves. But Jenson has always seen himself as a loser. But now that he has purchased a Casino, he will show everyone that he is not a loser anymore.
Selena has worked her way up at the Casino and is now the right hand person to the owner. When the owner sells the Casino, Selena is worried what the new owner will be like. Well she is in for a BIG shock\surprise.
He is such a pain that poor Selena is thinking about quitting and making her ceramic busy, a full time busy.
Jenson knows that he would be lost without Selena.
But Jenson has trouble following him. And not only is he in trouble this time, but his family...And Selena. What the hell is he going to do?
Love this book. Love all of the Bancroft Brothers books.

I really hope this isn't the last we see of the Bancroft Brothers.
Jensen was always the loveable loser in the other books he was a part of. He is now finally trying to make it on his own, but he doesn't do it conventually. He takes over a local casino, where he falls for his new assistant - Selena. I loved the character of Selena. She was feisty and full of life. I love the banter back and forth before they finally give into their mutual feelings.
Then the floor drops below them both. Jensen swindled the wrong guys this time and Selena is caught in the middle. Instead of running away from him, she runs towards the danger.
Jensen became a better man because of Selena. And he finally got the respect of all of his brothers. If this is the end of the Bancroft saga, I think it fits the ending well (or could there be more Bancrofts out there? Great subplot!)

Jensen is a mess, the youngest of his mother’s boys, always getting into a fix. He just bought casino where Selena works as to the owner, which is now him. He does not know what to do with one, so he sends her on errands around the city, to get him personal things.
Selena is really running the casino as Jensen really does not know what he is supposed to do now that he owns it. She gets annoyed he does not come in on time, has her running errands to well into the night.
The pair have such chemistry between them, she tries to deny it in the beginning, and he does not think he is good enough for her. It gets to be too much to avoid and they keep meeting up outside work and then in the office.
I normally shy away from books that are long, but this did not feel like it, once I started I could not put down. I absolutely love Jensen, is just enough of a wild child and just what orderly Selena needs.

Bad Boy Love Affair – Ali Parker
Jenson Grier is the youngest of the Grier brothers. Jenson always was in some type of trouble. By purchasing this casino would him making a good start with his life. Of course Jenson had no clue how to run this casino. His assistant Selena was the first person Jenson met. Jenson true self came out as being immature and arrogant. Jenson biggest problem was gambling. He won 5 million dollars while in Vegas. Jenson felt he won the money fair and square, However the money he won was connected to the mob in New York. These men came to visit Jenson about the money. Since he was not there they threaten Selena. When Jenson found this out he went to his brothers for help, even Kathy Bancroft. Jenson had to correct this problem himself. This story is about family. The drama, family unity and love and Jenson learning responsibility, friendship and the love he and Selena found. This is another one of my recommended book. This is my ARC review.

I have very much enjoyed all the Bancroft Brothers novels, however this one is my favorite! Jenson is the black sheep of the family and is definitely their problem child, in spite of being a grown man. Selena is the executive assistant to the owner of a casino, which happens to be the one that Jenson just bought. When a very professional, Selena meets the new owner… well the sparks fly when an arrogant, cocky, brash Jenson decides to push her buttons! When Jenson’s past catches up with him he has to work diligently to protect Selena and his family. It definitely takes the wind out of his sails. This well written story is angst filled, as well as addictive. The chemistry between these two is on fire! I loved this story and could not put it down. Congrats, Ali!!! You did good! This is 5 stars.

I enjoyed digging in to Jenson's story. He's the guy that's always in trouble, the guy looking for a quick buck. He's a bit cocky, a pain to work for but there's more to him than that. His story had me flipping pages, loving his pull to Selena, their sparks were intense and mixed in with the bit of suspense it all came together for a great read. I felt connected to Selena, her heart, her pride in her work and her love of her craft. They work well together. These brothers have been through a lot, and they all have a connection that continues to grow. I'm ready to start from the beginning with these Bancroft men. I also loved Selena's friend Megan and hoping we get her story as well. A great book to add to your must read list.

Jenson was the black sheep of the family until Selena changed his life forever. They say a zebra can’t change its stripes, but Jenson goes from the black sheep of the family always getting into trouble with every turn he makes, to prim, proper and professional with the influence of Selena, his assistant. What a wonderful story of Jensen going from thinking he won’t amount to anything and that nobody loves him to finding Selena who loves him at first sight and provides more support than anyone has in his entire life. She will fight for him like no one ever has before and will break down the walls of his heart and implant herself there. Such a great story of the love of a family, uncertainty, fear, anger, but most of all love, love, love. Absolutely magnificent. It takes a while, but Jenson and Selena finally get there.

Oh those gorgeous Bancroft boys! Jensen has always been the black sheep of the family. Always in trouble and needing to be bailed out by his brothers. This time he really messed with the wrong people, Winning a bunch of money from the mob. He didn't know they were the mob at the time and thought he made a clean getaway, but he was woefully mistaken. He bought a casino with the money and inherits Selena as his executive assistant. He sends her on so many ridiculous errands that she is about to quit. Then the thugs appear, demanding their money back and throwing threats around. This is a great story told with so much feeling. I loved the characters, their banter at times is hilarious. And ththe romance is beautiful and hot! Ali Parker always delivers, and this is no exception. A must read!

This is definitely a page turner! Jenson the youngest son of Art Bancroft the one who isn’t a rule follower. Jenson likes to play cards and learned early how to count them, well this time he might have bitten off more than he can handle. Jenson now owns a casino trying to show his older brothers that he’s growing up. Selena is Jenson’s executive assistant that is really the one running the casino and attempting to teach Jenson how to be a CEO. When Jenson’s past catches up with him Selena is thrown into the middle of it. I loved the chemistry between Jenson and Selena. You want to keep reading to see what will happen next. If you haven’t read any of the Bancroft books you will be hooked on them from reading just one of them.

Lays it all out on the table
Selena, an executive assistant, makes an impression on Jenson, her new boss, when she makes her way into his office on the first day he shows up in the operating offices. As the story progresses there is a bit of push and pull going on, his past traipses into the office, and if he cannot shake them loose there will be ramifications that they might not survive. Ali Parker lays it all out on the table in Bad Boy Love Affair. Poor Jenson has finally found someone that sees beyond the screw up he was to the person he is and the potential he has just to maybe throw it all away when his bad choices come back to haunt him.

Selena, an executive assistant, makes an impression on Jenson, her new boss, when she makes her way into his office on the first day he shows up in the operating offices. As the story progresses there is a bit of push and pull going on, his past traipses into the office, and if he cannot shake them loose there will be ramifications that they might not survive. Ali Parker lays it all out on the table in Bad Boy Love Affair. Poor Jenson has finally found someone that sees beyond the screw up he was to the person he is and the potential he has just to maybe throw it all away when his bad choices come back to haunt him.

This is a fantastic addition to the Bancroft series and I loved every minute of it! I'm so glad I read this while I was on leave from my job because no projects would have been completed while I was engrossed with this story. I have to say that there were quite a few times in this story where I wanted to reach in and shake some sense into Jenson, and other times I wanted to simply hug him. I liked Selena's character, I could certainly understand how it's easy to be all hardcore, no-nonsense in your head and even with those closest to you, but it's something else all together when confronted in actual situations and you fold up like origami. Loved how they were there for each other when it really mattered and their chemistry is fantastic.

Jensen and Selena’s love story was great! Their chemistry was off the charts. I loved how even though she wasn’t fond of him in the beginning, she stood by his side and a friendship grew which grew into love.
I love how they both learned about each other and supported each other through everything. Selena changed Jensen and helped him grow into the man he should be. Jensen helped Selena to come out of her comfort box and encouraged her to follow her dreams. Now I have to go read about the Bancroft brothers!

Although Jenson isn’t a Bancroft by name he’s all Bancroft the Grier name be damned. Selena is supposed to be Jenson’s executive assistant to help get his new business venture off the ground. When this arrogant alphahole bites off more than he can chew and barrows from the wrong dudes Selena sticks with him. It’s a test of their love affair. Just hope she doesn’t get burned. The Bancroft brothers is a phenomenal series, one you absolutely must read. Ali has done an amazing job writing all the sexy Alphaholes and the strong beautiful no nonsense women. This is a must read. Hope this isn’t the end for the Bancroft Grier brood.

Selena couldn't believe what an a****ole her new boss was but he is the worse but there is also a spark between them.
When his latest trouble turns up at the office and threatens not only his life but Selena as well he knows that he needs help.
Will his brothers help him or will he be on his own.
Nothing goes the way he wants but for some reason Selena is by his side.
Can they make it through together or will it be too much for her to take.
A must read full of drama, suspense and plenty of emotion but also so much love.

The only problem I had with this book was that once I started it I literally could not stop reading. I really enjoyed this book. Ali gave Jensen an amazing story. Jenson always felt he was catching up to everyone else and Thomas and Oliver were concerned when Jenson bought a casino. He never saw Selena coming or how big a part she would play as his new assistant. Selena has worked herself up the ladder and she worked hard and now she desperately still needs this job to put a roof over her head or she'd quit and concentrate on selling her ceramics!! She finds her new boss a pain in the rear, he’s cocky, he’s a jerk in so many ways he asked her to buy his condoms. Such a good read

I wasn’t sure what to expect in this final Bancroft-Grier series book featuring the unfiltered, self-entitled, and at times self-absorbed new owner of Amethyst Casino and Hotel Jensen Grier. It is a steamy novel with a fair amount of family drama, Jensen and Selena’s steamy workplace romance, tension in the form of persistent reporters and a mob debt, realistic multifaceted characters, and a heartwarming Christmas Day ending featuring the entire Bancroft -Grier family.

Selena finally meets her new boss. He is arrogant, cocky and very sexy. On is first day in the office, he asks her to buy condoms. What kind of boss does that? Jenson feels that he won the money to buy the casino legally. Little did he know who he played poker with. When the mob comes asking for their money back, they pull Selena in by threatening her life also.
There was so much going on this story that it was hard to put down. I wanted to keep reading to find out what was going to happen.

Ms. Parker has given her readers a compelling story about the youngest Bancroft brother, Jenson. At first I wasn’t too sure what to think about Selena since she is prone to give in to the wishes of others. However, when she met Jenson she got her “act” together and supported him. She was also changed when she had someone who supported her.

Jensen and Selena's story makes for compelling reading, it's well written and easily engages the reader watching the interactions between these two is addictive. He's now the owner of the casino where Selena works, she takes on the role of his assistant there's just one problem he finds himself attracted to her whilst being infuriated by her at the same time.
I loved the way their relationship evolved as the story progressed, Serena more than proved to be a perfect match for him not only professionally but personally too.

This is a book in A Bancroft Billionaire Brothers Series by this author, and can be read as a standalone. It is an off limits romance between Jenson and his assistant Selena. These likeable characters and the unique plot make for an entertaining read. It is a romantic adventure with enough drama, steam, frustrating moments, sweetness, family dynamic, twists and turns, and engaging secondary characters to keep the reader interested. A sweet read with a happy ending.

Loved the book it hooks you in, the characters Selena and Jenson were really interesting. Selena is an Executive Assistant at a Casino she worked as usual waiting for the new owner dropping off paper work in the bosses office when she finally walked in on him. Jenson is the new owner of the Casino, he is the half brother to the Bancroft brothers and wants to impress them. There was lots of action and adventure through out the book the chemistry between the two main characters was hot, Selena had to look after him and teach him how to be a boss and a CEO.

I love this series
This was the first book series that I read and having just finished this one, I want to go back and reread about all the brothers again. The stories are excellent. The family struggles are real. And I love them. You root for the characters and want that happily ever after for them. I loved how the ending has everyone together. This author is one of my favorites. She really knows how to draw you into the story Read the books in order — they are wonderful.
