Operation HEA #2

Operation Meet the Parents

Rate this book
Teddy is ready to pop the question, but can he find the perfect movie-moment proposal for Harlow? And more importantly, will Low survive meeting the parents? Oh, the joy of Christmas.

A missed connecting flight, inappropriate winter attire, and a kitchen fire…it wouldn’t be Christmas without some complications, right?

I know Harlow is desperately trying to impress my family, but I’m a lot more concerned about coming up with a proposal worthy of his Hollywood dreams. That is if he doesn’t burn the house down first.

There’s nothing like the holidays with family. Fa la la la la….

***Operation Meet the Parents is a 25K word novella companion to the full-length novel, Operation Meet Cute. Don’t miss this warm and fuzzy, all-the-Christmas-feels, steamy story.

Harlow is stressing about meeting Teddy's family, and their trip to the Midwest does not have an auspicious beginning: their flight is delayed; Harlow's suitcase (with his bodybutter!) is shipped to Florida; and Minnesota is freeze-your-ball-off cold. Teddy's mom doesn't seem to like him much either, especially after he almost burns down the kitchen.

But it's not all bad. There's a picnic in an empty terminal, a cute kitten, and the most unglamorous (but perfect!) proposal of all time.

Harlow and Teddy are seriously too adorable together and so crazy in love, I can only bask in their happiness and smile.

3.5. A very nice follow up to Operation Meet Cute, it cannot be read as a standalone. I felt that Harlow had grown up since the first book, which is a great thing! The story was light, fun and short. The love between those two came through, I just wished Teddy's mother's hang-ups were addressed more. If you liked book 1, go for it 😊.

HE REALLY JUST CALLED 🍆 A "SKIN FLUTE" 💀💀💀

summary of this book: when operation meet the parents goes awry from day one 🤣 ngl i probably would've dematerialized on the spot had i been in Harlow's shoes, just dust in the wind as i make my escape from the humiliation and embarrassment 😌

if you enjoyed Operation Meet Cute, you won't regret revisiting these two dorks as they take the next step in their relationship! 🥺🤲

short and sweet and full of Christmas cheer.

Teddys mom was kinda rude at the beginning not gunna lie… and Harlow should know he should never cook anything… ever… if he wants to impress the parents he should do something that won’t burn the house down haha

Overall super cute and made me smile the whole time. Nick J Russo did a great job and really recommend listening to this series!

Totally Sugar Sweet Follow-up Short Story!

Love the continuous awesome silly humor in this book. These two MCs are adorable and it has been so much fun watching them fall in love and take things to the next level. Charlie's continued cooking fiascos are priceless!

4.5 Swoony-Christmas stars!! 🎄😍 Loved this long epilogue including the HEA that Teddy and Harlow deserved. ❤️ It's a low angst short, with more antics from Harlow, some Christmas cheer🎄, a few secret gifts, one-or two marriage proposals and lots of steam and laughter. 💕 Highly recommended to all fans of the first book. 👍👍

As you'd expect from a KM Neuhold holiday novella, Operation Meet the Parents is a sweet and funny rom-com with almost zero angst and lots of hot sex.

Harlow and Teddy go to Teddy's childhood home in Minnesota and hilarity ensues. You should read Operation Meet-Cute before reading this book, but that's no hardship as it's as sweet and fluffy of a romance as you'll find.

This novella makes a perfect follow-up, complete with Christmas lights, sex, a freshly cut tree, sex, family, and sex - not with the family, of course, but definitely in Teddy's old bedroom.

Love the Audible of this series!

This was a sweet nugget to add to the tale of Harlow and Teddy. I was ok with Harlow being on his back foot a little bit since I'm still a little fussy about how he made Teddy suffer in the first book.

This was a cute addition to the first book.

I liked to see that both of them had the same plan and how that acted out in the end.

Besides that I was a little annoyed by how the mom acted in this one. I mean it got better in the end but still I wish she would have been a more positive mom.

This is a continuation of Harlow and Teddy‘s love story from Operation Meet Cute. These best friends finally realized that they were meant to be together. But now they just have to get through the holidays with Harlow‘s family, figure out an epic proposal, and navigate some challenges and mishaps.

These two are so cute and schmoopy together. They have such great chemistry, but the foundation of their friendship, fun banter, and just the way they know so much about the other one really shows what a close bond they have and how important they are to each other. Teddy is the protective, caring, and gentle teddy bear. Harlow is more of a sweet dreamer and a bit of an awkward mess at times. But they balance each other so well and are just adorably perfect for each other.

This is a short, sweet, sexy, swoony, meet-the-parents, snowy holiday, and figure-out-the-future update for Teddy and Harlow. Not everything can go as planned and that is half the fun.

Teddy and Harlow are back and getting ready to introduce Harlow to Teddy's parents, while Teddy also wants to find the perfect "movie moment" to propose to Harlow. Instead of smoothing sailing on the trip, what can go wrong does go wrong, from staying overnight in the airport to burning breakfast. Teddy tries to make the most of all curveballs thrown their way to make this trip as stress-free as possible for Harlow.

This was a short, sweet meet the parents with low angst and lots of laughs. If you enjoyed Operation Meet Cute, this is a lovely catch-up to see how Teddy and Harlow's relationship progresses.

Sweet lovingly story!!

Contains: first meeting with parents, Christmas, proposals, a fire and a difficult mother-in-law.

A romantic touch of Christmas, filled with a loving family, a mother who has trouble loving her son's partner, the awkwardness of a southerner in the north and a terrible cook. Very well written and with a light touch of humor. Without forgetting the perfect proposals ever. Hihi. I loved it.

OPERATION MEET THE PARENTS was a really cute follow up for Harlow and Teddy. It was fun to see the usually confident Harlow trying to impress his boyfriend's parents and boy did he have some bad luck. These two make such a great couple and the proposal scene was so perfect!

This is a fun book to follow Operation Meet Cute with plenty of holiday topics and more than a little Harlow style drama. I like how it showed a strong relationship - even when others were showing disapproval.

This was so stinking sweet I thought I'd go into sugar shock reading it. But it is a nice catch up with Harlow and Teddy.

I really enjoyed this - a bit more than the first book. I loved MCs Teddy and 'Low, I think because I already 'knew' them and it felt like getting was straight into a pair of comfy PJs. 'Low is still OTT but a bit more tapered down; a little less needy despite his anxiousness over fitting in with Teddy's family. And it suited him.

There's a little friction in the story, but not unexpected. And of course, an HEA :)

Narrated by Nick J Russo. Excellent of course ;)

A heartfelt lovely Christmas tale, a must read if you love this couple’s first story

It’s been a while since the first novel where I encountered Harlow (he of the movie Meet Cute) and Teddy but it only took a sentence or two before the effervescent Low and the steadfast Teddy came happily alive once more.

This time the now together pair is leaving sunny LA for the snowy temps of Minnesota and a Christmas with Teddy’s family. It’s Low’s first time meeting them and at a major holiday at that.

What could go wrong?

Neuhold brings us a delightful heartwarming story, filled with family, Holiday gathering and festivities, as well as a bit of angst when Teddy’s mother slow to warm up to Low. Neuhold gently explores a realistic, loving mother/son relationship and the changing dynamic when one brings home their “forever love”. I so enjoyed watching the family, Ted’s mother and the men navigate what could have been a awkward holiday but instead turns out to be a very happily memorable Christmas.

Operation Meet the Parents is a well written holiday romance centered around an established wonderful couple, two highly delightful men, each with a secret mission and special gifts for each other. There’s so much laughter, tremendous characters, some sexy fun, and a ton of love of all types, romantic and that of family.

In short, just a terrific story and a great Christmas sequel for Low and his Teddy Bear. I’m really hoping that Neuhold will give us their wedding and a welcome reunion with both families and friends.

Both books are just a delight and I’m absolutely recommending both. Read one, then this heartfelt lovely Christmas tale.

Praise be to the Great and Powerful Keanu in the sky, this novella was just as fun as Operation Meet Cute! Teddy and Harlow are both secretly planning to propose to each other while they spend Christmas meeting the parents in sub-zero Minnesota, only their travel plans go awry and Teddy’s mom seems to take an instant dislike to Harlow, especially after he nearly burns down her kitchen with his cooking - twice! I often feel ripped off by novellas and short stories, the plot and characters can feel rushed or underdeveloped. That doesn’t happen here, we already know Teddy and Harlow, meeting the parents and proposing are both substantial plotlines and plenty of hilarious things happen to keep things fun. Audio narrator Nick J Russo reprises his original performance with the same big heart and humour, can’t wait for Operation Meet The Wedding Planner!🤞

Listen the words “skin flute” will HAUNT me for the rest of my life *shudders dramatically* but even with the full body cringe I just experienced I could not love Harlow and Teddy more!!

I was super excited to get a holiday novella from KM set in the meet cute world and it did not disappoint! Harlow was adorably awkward and just a touch superficial but in an endearing way where you can’t help but be fond of him and Teddy was swoony and dream man material with his surprise picnics and steady strength.

I have found a lot of characters to love over the years but KM has a unique ability to make me fall for imperfect men who may not always be easy going but who genuinely love their men with all that they have. I adore this couple and I loved this sweet holiday read!

It is so nice to be back with Harlow and Teddy. If you haven’t read book 1, definitely do that. It’s an adorable delight just like this sequel. In this story, Low and Teddy head to Minnesota for Christmas with Teddy’s family, and yes, it’s the first time Low is meeting them. No pressure or anything. Of course, things don’t go swimmingly (because where would be the fun in that?), especially with Teddy’s mother. It was actually poignant to see her struggle with letting go of her son now that he’d found his person. Ms. Neuhold writes this story realistically, sensitively, and as always, filled with her humor and fun. There are plenty of family and holiday trappings and of course a HEA. I really enjoyed this story and recommend it highly.

I've been anxiously awaiting the arrival of this book. Harlow and Teddy, a proposal, and a Minnesota family Christmas. What could go wrong? Poor Harlow, there's just one crisis after another, he wants to impress everyone, but he seriously needs to stay out of the kitchen. Teddy is the most patient and loving boyfriend, his love for Harlow shines through as he tries to plan the perfect time to ask Harlow to be his husband. With the help of The Almighty Keanu Reeves, will Teddy find the perfect Hollywood marriage proposal moment? No spoilers here, you'll have to read the book yourself to find out. The only complaint I have, it's too darn short...

Holiday awesomeness with Teddy and Harlow!

So in Operation Meet Cute I spent a fair amount of time wanting to slap Harlow upside the head. He needed to open his eyes and see what was right in front of him.
In Operation Meet the Parents I wanted to smack Teddy upside the head. He needed to open his eyes to his mothers behavior.

Ok now that I have that out it is a perfect example of how real K.M. Neuhold’s characters are they have faults and neither is perfect which makes them perfect for each other. This book has everything you wants. Awww moments, laugh out loud moments, holiday awesomeness and time spent with favorite characters!

Teddy et Harlow

Interlude à Noel
Proposition de mariage

.

Beaucoup de mignonerie

📖

Operation Perfect Proposal

Teddy and Harlow are so perfect for each other. I absolutely love it! Harlow is terrified of meeting the parents but is determined to make a good impression because he wants to pop the question. Little does he know, Teddy has just been waiting for the perfect epic moment to do the same thing. But as life often does, it shows them that all I takes is the two of them together for the moment to be right.

Adorable Christmas Story!

Teddy and Harlow are one of my favorite K.M. Neuhold's couples. I love Meet Cutes. I used to watch Hallmark movies for them and now I read books. This was a great follow up to their story! Meeting the family for the first time is always going to stressful, add in the Christmas holiday and it's chaotic stress! Lol. It was funny and I laughed through all of it. Teddy and Low will always be a favorite of mine!

I was thrilled we were getting some more Teddy and Harlow. I adored them in Operation Meet Cute, and I was all in for an epic proposal! I enjoyed Harlow’s awful kitchen disasters, and applauded him trying to win over Teddy’s grumpy Mom. The same sweetness between these two, and the smoking hot sexy times, was such a highlight in their story for me. This was a fun shirt to revisit some great characters!
