She's Mine: Solanie and Knight

Rate this book
Deon:

Solanie doesn't know it yet, but she's mine.

They all were.

Every woman that I’ve taken. But none of them were like Solanie.

I’m a very cautious man. I don’t make mistakes. I don’t leave behind evidence. That's how I've been able to evade capture from the police for all these years. But there’s something about Solanie that makes me want to throw all that caution to the wind.

It doesn’t matter that she already belongs to the street legend, Knight King.

Whatever I want, I get.

And I want Solanie.

Solanie:

I’ve always prided myself on being strong enough to handle anything life tossed my way. But losing the man that I thought I’d marry and my job at the same time sent me quickly staggering from strong to weak.

Until him.

Knight King came barreling into my life giving me things that I didn’t even know I needed and turned my life into a dream. That is until a monster crept out of my darkest nightmares and shattered everything.

After loving the Billionaire and the Bully by Tara I knew I’d eventually go down a rabbit hole of her entire catalog so it was a no brainer to pick up She’s Mine. Baby when I tell you this was stalking amplified!! Deon could be bffs with Andrew from “Dear Vicky” IYKYK!! I mean they went to the same school of crazy stalkers because that’s exactly what Deon was. He was penned the Beauty Butcher and was one of the most notorious serial killers Houston had come across in over 20 years.

After setting his sights on Solanie he didn’t just want to kill her, he wanted to own her and his psychotic mind had him mixing reality with fantasy on a whole other level.

Unknown to Solanie that she was being stalked, she had her own set of problems. She was depressed after who she thought was the love of her life broke up with her with no reasonable explanations. Now she’s trying to pick up what’s left of her life with no lover and no job! After her friends convince her to go out and get back to the old Lanie, she finds herself in the cross hairs of one of the most sought after, ruthless millionaires in Houston and Knight King was so captivated by her that he had to have her.

Everybody wanted them some Solanie!! One had a healthy obsession while the other man’s obsession was a deadly one…. May the best man win 🤣

There are a few minor things that I would have liked to see done a bit more strategically but I won’t spoil it for y’all. Just know for as powerful of a man Knight was, he should’ve moved smarter in a few areas of his life! This was a good read over all and I definitely would give it the green light to add to your TBR

I wasn’t expecting this from Tara but Deon is one unhinged person. I feel like Solanie and Knight connect wasn’t strong enough before the bs started. I think everyone was just too comfortable like there wasn’t a serial killer on the loose. Still a good read on to book 2.

From Darkness Into the Light💕💕

Solanie went through so much by the hands of Deon. He was such a sick human being along with his father and brother Nate. It was Very shocking to find out that Deon's father and brother were special FBI agents and that Nate turned out to be Agent Mitchell who was working the Beauty Butchers’ along with Agent Taylor. Knight was Really Solanie's knight in shining armor when he rescued her from a blazing fire. True love at it's finest. King Kurtis and his resources weren't nothing to play with. I'm glad that Deon and Nate met their end at the hands of Solanie. I like how Kian always had Knight's back and was always ready to ride out with him. It would be nice to see where Kian and Mariah's relationship goes and to see if Candace finds love😉😉🤔🤔

I enjoyed reading this book... I like that it had just a little bit of hood with lots of plotting... It was like a murder mystery with urban story combined... I loved the flow of this book and the build up of the storyline was really good... I did not want to stop reading because I was drawn in wanting to know what will happen next... Waiting and wanting to know when everyone will make the big moves...
Solanie is a young woman that is caught up feeling depressed because she lost her job and her man on the same day... While trying to find work and get over her broken heart she is struggling to pay her bills... She keeps feeling like she is being watched and followed but keeps brushing it off... She decides to go out with her bestfriends Candice and Mariah to a club... This one night changes her life kind of in a good way but also in a bad way... Let's just say that this is where a lot of turn of events began to happen around her and to her...
Knight is the man that owns a lot of businesses... Including the club that Solina and her friends went to... This is where she caught his eye and from then on he wanted her bad... Knight and his family are very well known... They use to have their hands in the streets but now they have gone legal... Well everyone except Kian... This is the middle brother and although he has been told by his family that they don't need to do that anymore... Kian feels the need to still be out there in them streets doing illegal things... Well with the FBI really having a hard time trying to catch Knight in anything no matter how long they have been working on this case... They may have just got what they wanted with the slip up of Kian...
Then we have Deon... This man is so twisted... He is a man that women do not stop and take a second look at... This causes him to take what he wants... Since women don't want him he decides to snatch the beautiful ones and make them pay... This is something that was passed down to him and his brother by their father... He has his eyes set on one woman that he is drawn to and feels that she is different from the rest... To him she is his... Eventhough she has no clue who he is... One night he followed her to the club and their eyes met... From this point on he really wanted her bad... He was willing to do anything to make sure that happens and no one else can have her... He had a sick obsession with Solanie... His obsession is causing him to become careless... Will he be able to pull off his plans or will he be caught before hand...
Now that big moves have been made and everything is about to come out... Boom I'm hit with a cliffhanger... Now to wait to find out what will happen next... Can't wait for part 2..

I see Solanie is green when it comes to a lot of things! She should've waited as far as the phone was concerned or simply been more careful at making sure she had everything before settling in. It's crazy that she knew about the butcher but didn't take the necessary precautions and be familiar with her surrounding. Kian doesn't seem as if he'll ever learn but if he gets out of this jam hopefully he'll learn that his dad and brothers won't always clean up his mess. Taylor had more pressing matters but still honed in on Knight and it'll be something if she's in way over her head. Knight doesn't seem like a bad dude even though the reactions of those that encounter him state otherwise. Deon needs to be stopped soon and hopefully his anger about Solanie's actions doesn't cause him to hurt her but make a mistake everyone is waiting for. I can only imagine what well happen once Knight realizes what's going on. I can't wait for part 2 and the opportunity for Knight to finally unleash the beast within.

This book had my attention from beginning to the very end and what a ending. Well written and moved at a steady pace, flowed really well. I was so into the book I had finished before I realized it. A page-turner. Loved the storyline and these characters. Deon and Nate are deranged and psychos of the worst kind. Evil is embedded into them. Really loving Solanie & Knight together...opposites attracted to each other. Solanie is looking for true happiness and she's found that in Knight. Kain is a major screw up and just wouldn't listen to Kurtis and Knight and see what happened. Now the question will he remain loyal to the family or become a snake. After that ending I'm sure it's time for the BEAST in knight to be UNLEASHED!!! Can't wait to see what happens next. Job well done Tara Ellis.

Nooooooooooo...I Just Can't🤧🤧😭😭

Like why Nate and Deon have to be so messed up in the head to the point of being the Beauty Butcher serial killer?? Solanie doesn't deserve being stalked by Deon with what she just got over with Myron. Just when things were starting to look up for Solanie, Deon catchings Knight and Solanie slipping. Knight is going to paint the streets red until Solanie is found. Kian is so stupid for letting Tim and Special Agent Taylor set him up. Kurtis told him to fall back and sit down somewhere but he had to be hardheaded. I hope Solanie doesn't get tortured by Deon.

Great suspenseful read!!

This was my first book by this author, and this was a great first impression. I was into this book from the beginning. I love a good crazy character, and Deon took the cake. I couldn’t believe how sick he was. Solanie deserved to be happy and she found that in Knight, the no nonsense gentle giant. I enjoyed reading about them as their souls connected. That’s the kind of connection people are looking for in their relationship. That ending was worrisome and it left me wanting more. I can’t wait for pt 2!! I highly recommend this book!!

Smh Solanie

That ending had me side-eyeing Solanie, like you couldn't wait until the morning?! Agent Taylor has it out for Knight, she's obsessed. Kian is in over his head. Deon is nuts, he had me looking over my shoulder and checking my windows. Knight and Solanie have a real connection. I'm definitely wondering how everything will play out because Knight has a side to him that is itching to be released. Good read with a good amount of suspense

Good Stuff!!

This was a complete story with something for everyone and it is good to the end.The writer gives us a touch of romance, mystery and a little drama. The two main characters are likable so you can want them to win.The writer also manages to incorporate some creepiness in with the two brothers, and I mean creepy.aT his is just an all around good story and it would be a shame if you don't pick up and indulge.

This book is a perfect combination of hood story and mystery. Solanie has been down on her luck for over a year. Knight came into her life and swept her off her feet. He has a dark past that I’m sure will come out later. Then there is Deon who is a pyscho stalker. I’m so afraid for Solanie. I can’t wait until part two.

Intense!!!!

Dang, I feel like I’m at the movies, screaming at the characters, telling them to watch their backs. Everyone is entirely too comfortable for there to be a serial killer on the loose. I’m on the edge of my seat reading this book. I just wish that Solaris was smarter than she is.🤦🏽‍♀️

Omg

This book wasn't what I was expecting at all. I was glad Knight came in and saved Solanie from pining over her ex that moved on. Deon was crazy and I hope that everything be alright. That ending was everything. That was a cliffhanger for real. I need part 2 asap.

Just ok

It's ok a little boring, the sex scenes are non existent, I'm pretty much bored reading this. There is no excitement, or drama nothing, but it's a quick read so I can move on to something else.

At first I was a little skeptical if I was going to like this book because it was a tad bit graphic for me. However, I quickly grew to love it and was constantly trying to guess how the story was going to progress and was wrong every time.

This series is too dark for me. And we didn’t really see the chemistry build between the MMC and FMC. Also, I skipped through the agents chapter because I feel like it took away from the storyline. My least favorite book from this author. Her latest two books are five stars so read those books.

So much suspense neatly packaged as a romance novel

I’m excited for a change in urban fiction . This takes you out of the normal street lit. I’m excited for part 2

Fast paced, I'm running to the finale. This showdown has the potential to be truly epic. So many mysteries within the characters; how did sis get herself wrapped up in this?!

Good read

Good read. Just not what I was expecting so I really couldn’t get into it like I wanted to. Lanie and Knights relationship seemed rushed and fake. Idk 🤷🏾‍♀️ The beauty butchers…. Ughhhhh

This was a really good series.... I definitely enjoyed the ride... This series really drew me in on part one and had me all in the edge of my seat... Then with this book it just kept building twisting and turning... I never knew what to expect... This series is a definite must read... I was shocked about a few things in here but then it all made sense...
I loved Knight he was such a good man... He is what most women look for in a man... He fought with everything in him and risked his own life to make sure that Solanie was okay...
I felt bad for Solanie with everything that she had to go through... She put up a good fight but after a while she was just over it and broken... I was able to see all the love and support that she had in her life... So with their help she is able to build herself up again...
Deon was just a lost case. He was so in love with Solanie that he started making simple mistakes... This lead to his downfall... All he wanted Solanie to do was love him... Yet he went about it all wrong... He himself was also a victim... He was a victim to his upbringing and his brother that used him to satisfy his own pleasure... Unfortunately he was never able to untangle himself from all the evil that was thrown upon him as a child... He became entrapped in this evil mind frame and because of this he lost the battle...
I was glad to see how everything ended... This was a great storyline... Now to see what is next for Tara Elis with her writing...

This is for the whole series.

Reading the title and the warning..saying " graphic scenes"etc I would have thought it would be more intense than what it was.
This series was good BUT it wasn't GREAT! sometimes I felt myself skipping through some parts to "find" some of that intensity I was looking for.
I read books of this nature and they had me feeling like I was on the edge of my seat. Like I could feel the fear in the character! Like the Twist me,keep me,hold me Trilogy by Anna Series. And I'm not saying it to be mean ,just trying to explain my opinion 🤷‍♀️ Dion was a sick individual and knight was a bae . But again I didn't get that book bae feel out of him or the chilling gaze feeling when I read this. This is why I chose 3 stars

Great Series

Really great series and I enjoyed it. I was all in from the last installment and this drew me all in. I couldn't put it down and it kept me wondering what's happening next. Held my attention from beginning to end with all those twist and turns. Loved Knight and Solanie together. She endured so much and still survived and overcame a horrible experience at the hands of a psycho. Deon was stone crazy and that's all he knew. He was a victim of his father and brother and never had a chance at a normal life. Great storyline and plot and loved how everything ended. Job well done Tara Ellis.

Loved it!!

I had been looking for a good suspense book for a while, and this series did not disappoint. Solanie went through so much, and most people would've broken, but she kept fighting against all hope. Deon was insanely obsessed and in the end, he lost sight of his own rules. This book keeps you on edge waiting to see what happens next. Knight King was the man, but even the man gets caught slipping some times. He never gave up hope and it eventually pays off. I can't wait to see what this author comes with next.

This series was soooo amazing! It grabbed my attention from page one and held it to the very last page. The characters were so well developed that it made me root for them. I am a huge fan of Tara Ellis work because she releases her part 2s so quickly. you never have to wait months for the installment and forget what happened in part one. This is my favorite series of hers, I loved the suspense of it all. Suspense and thrillers are my favorite especially those that have elements of romance like this one!

This series was so good from beginning to end. The mystery and the characters kept me intrigued. Tara Ellis really did it with this one. Knight was the man and Solanie survived things that would be broken some woman. This is a must read.
