A visit from the Vampire King never ends well; this time it’s the ultimate do or die.
The Vampire King has tracked me down, not that he ever lost track of me. He has wanted me for ages, and with the Alpha out of the way he thinks he can finally have me. Especially now that he is aware of the mesmerizing power of my blood.
He wants me all for himself.
He didn’t, however, plan on the three Vampires he had sent to collect me to be my mates. They are loyal and ready to protect me.
We just didn’t expect the Vampire King to come at us with an attack of biblical proportions.
Rejected Mate is the second book in the Shattered Fate series. It is recomended for readers 17+ for the all around lovin' and intense amount of heat that you will find on the pages within.
If you love Sam, Hall, Jen L. Grey, Kelly St. Claire, Tara West, K.F. Breene, Jaymin Eve, and Linsey Hall, then this is your next addiction.
It's not Fox, it's Foxx. There's too much heat here for just one X
I don't normally review individual books in a series, but this book deserves a terrible review. In book one the series seemed to start out strong. The author seemed to be developing the characters and story line well. Then Lizzie met her vampires. That's when the whole series started falling apart. There was Insta sex and love. But, I thought maybe book 2 would get better. Boy was I wrong! Not only does this book have many grammatical and spelling errors, but Lizzie turned into some kind of tantrum throwing lunatic. There is nothing I hate more than a main character who thinks that with very little skills or knowledge, they can take on the villain. On their own. Lizzie is stupid! Her mates are supposedly protective, yet they don't prepare her for the vampire king confrontation. But, as stupid as she is, she decides she should go off on her own because nobody is going to tell her what to do! My eyes are rolling here.... I absolutely hated this book. I already bought book 3, so I may try to see if it gets better. If it's anything like book 2 then I probably won't finish it. I've read books by this author before and liked them. This one deserves negative stars.
