I met Rob at our high school Chowder Day Alumni Art Show. We talked about art, college, professional and life experiences. Rob spoke about his experiences at Princeton and Duke. I shared some of my experiences at Colby and Brown. A few years later, Rob told me about his internship book. I found that we shared similar experiences in college and an interest in helping college/university students. Rob has carried the ball far down the field in life. I believe this book will help college students, anyone seeking an internship and those trying to figure out where they fit into the game of life. It is important that you don't get discouraged and continue to play the game. We all make mistakes. Play the Game is our high school motto. Internships help college students learn the rules of the game. Rob talks about the importance of listening and not acting impulsively. Honesty and goal setting needs to be a priority. Rob spoke about the importance of mentorship as well. There is a wide range of internship opportunities. Finding the right fit is key. Some great quotes in this book as well. Prestigious corporations such as Goldman Sachs and McKinsey hire Rob's interns. I highly recommend this book.
