A lucrative business venture is under the investigation of the State tax department. Cinnamon is holding on for dear life financially, but the taxes accrued on her property and party promotion business were holding her back from reaching absolute success. Couple that with a controlling and abusive boyfriend, she's finding herself in tighter constraints socially and fiscally. Meanwhile, Rome is contemplating on the perfect gift for a beautiful stranger. When the suggestion of a diamond being a girl's bestfriend is mentioned, it sparks excitement. But, how the hell was she going to afford a nice, and very real diamond for this person of interest? The plot thickens as she puts her trust in a friend to help her retrieve the precious jewel. Random people become involved in both situations making them increasingly difficult to trust anyone.
"Diamonds" chronicles the stories of two very different women, from two separate worlds who deal with life's odds stacked against them. This fast-paced novella was inspired by real-life events but is a work of fiction.
