It’s been almost two weeks, and Holloway still isn’t back from his ex-wife’s book tour. To top it off, Miranda is being hounded by her crusty Aunt Lu in Minnesota about her mother’s death. The last thing Miranda wants is to delve into her past again.
Worst of all, Parker has gone on a case without her. Now she’s royally PO’ed.
So PO’ed, she travels to Chicago on her own to prove her mother’s death was an accident and get her aunt off her back.

I just finished fatal fall by Linsey Lanier she is one terrific author I could not put this book down this book should be a ten star book I have also read all of her other books I highly recommend this book and all her other books to everyone Dorothy Schaefer
An excellent read. Miranda gets in over her head with Parker off on another search. A neurosurgeon with a God complex and a supply of straight jackets terrorizing hospitals. Was Miranda’s mother’s accident really just a stroke of bad luck? And any excuse to rent a Tesla. A necessity for investigating after all. Thanks
Having spent the last couple of weeks recovering from a nasty fall… my face looking like I lost a horrible fight… I have been reading Books 📚 1-18 📚 and I want more!!! It’s taking a long time for those babies to arrive!!! Where is Wendy? What’s happening with Mckinsey? When will Gen get a clue? Inquiring Minds Want To Know
I am so thrilled to see Parker and Miranda are still going!! I had read all of these, and started reading other books. I was so happy to see another 2 books about them!! I love these!! This Miranda Steel story really has you working your brains trying to figure out who she should be looking for when she finally figures out that her mother was murdered seventeen years before. Great read ,thank you to this author. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill
I loved this thriller. This series is always great. I could not put this book down. I highly recommend this book and series. If you love mystery books you will absolutely love this one
I really liked book 18 of this series. Actually I loved each and every one of them. I hope there will be more in this series, especially since Santana is not dead after all. Keep up the good work.
I love reading miranda and Parker mysteries. When you start reading, you don't want to put it down. Lindsey Lanier is one of the best authors I've read.
Fantastic novel following a husband and wife, both private detectives, working two major crimes. Linsey Lanier instills thrills and suspense in her literary style.
Miranda steel and Parker solve another mystery… the death of Miranda’s mother. Quick read and they both think Santana is dead. Can’t wait until next book
such an interesting concept seeing miranda and parker solve two separate cases individually but i did miss them together. also, really frustrating how miranda is stupid enough to just jump to the conclusion that santana has been “eaten by bears” — easily falling for what he wants them both to think — when she’s much smarter than that.
Always a 5 star author for me. Love this series and hope for many more adventures with Miranda and Parker. Not as in love with them working separately but still just as intriguing. These books keep me up all night.
