It was great to catch up with Jayne in this action-packed sequel. The reader gets to learn more about this intriguing and expertly described post-apocalyptic alien world, and some of the main characters' back stories. I was fully invested in the main protagonists and yelling out loud at one particular villain. The best bit is that there is more to come in this exciting series!

After the feedback Amanda and I had from part 1, we doubled down, added more content to tidy up story points and refined part 2 into the gripping conclusion it is.
Redemption steps up the sci-fi, the action and adventure right to the end.

If you enjoyed Hope, Redemption will have you going to bed well past midnight.

*no spoilers* A truly engaging followup to Part 1. Where in Hope, you felt like you were in a mystery and the world around you slowly unfolded itself through the eyes of young Jayne, Redemption puts you straight into the world.
Like the author says, all themes that made Part 1 so great have all been kicked up a notch: it makes for a great action-packed sci-fi read.
