When life comes crashing down around you, the only thing left to do is pick up the pieces…
Easy’s a man who made a mistake and paid for it with four years of his life. A man who trusted someone who turned around and screwed him so hard it landed him in prison. A man who spent years searching for where he belonged. Who found his place after he joined the Blood Fury MC. Who finally found his “easy.” At least until her. A woman who has him playing a dangerous game. One neither of them can win unless he changes the game and the rules. While rules were meant to be broken, the one they’re breaking could have serious consequences. Even so, while she’s a risk, she’s also the reward. But things can change in the blink of an eye. When the unthinkable happens. The unexpected. Ready or not, life is barreling towards him faster than he can handle. All he can do is hang on for the ride and hope, in the end, he survives.
Note: Blood & Bones: Easy is the twelfth book in the Blood Fury MC series. As always, this story has no cheating, no cliffhanger, and has an HEA. It’s HIGHLY recommended to read this series in order.

I hate seeing this series come to an end. It was a fun ride with so much emotion from Trip to the final page of Easy. Jeanne St James is a wizard of words that pulls you in to each character's story and makes you feel every emotion from laughter and joy to heartache and self discovery. Thank you for this journey and I can't wait to see what the future holds!
It's a sad day to read the last book in this series. The Blood Fury MC is so different from the Dark Angels MC but they have in common overthrowing the ways of their fathers to become 'clubs' not 'gangs.' The thing about the Blood Fury seems to be Trip's aim to take in the lost, the abused and uneducated and ex-cons that have nowhere else to go, knowing 'it takes a village' working to support one another to overcome the disabilities left by horrible parenting. Over and over, Jeanne introduces us to people who have not been cultivated for success who slowly become more than expected with the acceptance of the brothers and the RULES set down by Trip and enforced by the executive committee.
A lot of joy is to be had by club members with unlimited booze, weed and other homegrown and produced goods by the Amish neighbors, sweet butts to satisfy a man's needs, and bi-monthly club runs and pig roasts with live music and dancing. Every member is given a job to earn his/her way. The drawback seems to be caring for each other in spite of their tempers, rudeness, inability to commit, and other stunted personality development problems because of their lack of a loving childhood environment. The strengths and weaknesses of so many of the characters in this book, EASY, prove over and again that regular care (Trip has them all live on the farm property) and true love win out in the end. It was hard for Easy and the reader to offer support to Shade as he finished business with his 'sperm doner' yet Shade was so admirable in his care of his stepdaughters and his adopted son and the new babies of the club. But everybody suffered when Easy broke the RULES! Will he be saved? This is a must-read series!
What a great ending to the series. This series has been about so much more than an MC. It’s about second chances and not letting your past define you. Family is more than blood, it’s the people you choose. In Easy we not only see him finding a forever he didn’t realize he wanted but a few other questions from previous books get answered as well.
As always Jeanne St James has created a world that I never want to leave but this is the last of the series. I'm hoping one day she will return to write a second generation. But I digress. This one was one I was anticipating since Easy was on the edge of others books but we didn't really get to know him. He was so worth the wait. I loved how he went with the flow but when presented with his perfect (not that he knew it at first) match, he goes all in. The relationship develops on its own without the influence of the very nosey bikers that this group is made up of. And let's not talk about the group of women that are more protective of their own than the men. Easy makes mistakes as well as his woman but what I love is how they acknowledge and correct and move forward. One day, one night at a time. This was a perfect ending to a perfect series. One more thing, you don't have to read the rest of the series but please do. You will understand so much of the personalities that are close to these two characters and the reasons they do what they do.
Where was the romance in this story? Two people that had sex for months without talking or getting to know each other at all and then suddenly they have feelings? I felt like this book was the most mashed together case of settling and giving into peer pressure I've read in a long time.
Spoilers ahead:
I felt so bad for the h. She had no options from the time she landed on the doorstep of the MC. Forced to help raise someone else's kid for room and board and rarely off the leash enough to date or find a man outside the club. Given no option to go to school, learn a trade, earn her own way... WTH did they think was going to happen? Of course she fell on the d*ck of one of the members. And then, when she had grave doubts about how she actually felt, she was given no opportunity to actually figure it out without all kinds of expectations and pressure that no young girl could stand up to, especially since she had no skills to move on or move out or make any other choices. Her immaturity showed in so many places, but all of her reservations about being pregnant in her current situation were very mature and nobody took them seriously, they just brushed her off and pushed her to Easy. At this point, I think they have spent the total of maybe a week in each other's company in a relationship where they spent time together and talked to each other but still at night sneaking around to have sex and go for bike rides. Before that it was literally, no talking, ever, in the dark, sneaky sex for a few months. This book also skipped a lot of crucial development that might have made this couple more believable. I think we skip from 3 months pregnant to 6 months after the baby and she and Easy are getting married. I don't remember a time in the whole book where either Tess or Easy tell each other they love each other. Tess never had a chance to be anything but a biker's Ol'Lady and it's a shame.
I didn't really get Easy and his motivation, especially with his background. While I think Trip is a little bit heavy handed, Easy got off easy.
And then add in that there was no romance between Tess and Easy and this was a hard book to swallow.
I've read all the books in this series, I was invested in the MC even if I didn't think a lot of couples had very compelling love stories. For a surprise last book, I would have liked to see more of Sig and Red adjusting to their new family and have some insight into the plans for the future. The wedding epilogue felt like too little insight to the current lives of the members to be fulfilling.
Easy’s story is here, and it doesn’t disappoint. The Blood & Bones MC was there when he needed someone the most and they have become his family. He has watched his brother’s find their ones never sure if he would have the same fate until she comes into his life. She is everything he didn’t know he wanted and is about to take him on the ride of his life.
This story has all the aspects that you enjoy from this series including hot chemistry, humor, adventure and all the feels. The camaraderie not only between the two captivating characters but the great group of secondary characters is what makes this story and this series so special.
Easy is finally living an easy life with the Blood Fury. He's found his place and wants nothing more than to ride it out. But life always has plans you don't know about and Easy is in for a bumpy ride. This women walks into his life and stakes a claim without even realizing it. It was supposed to be fun, a bit of excitement but now she has to really think about what she wants. Its a hard and painful road to love but these two fought hard. I loved this couple, as I have every single BFMC couple. I'm sad this is ending but I've loved this journey from hardships and fear to peace, love and complete acceptance.
This one ends the series in a good way, but man I was pissed at Tessa and a little bit Easy for the first half of the book. More Tessa because she knew if they were caught she wasn't goin to be the one getting the beating, Easy was and a bit Easy because he knew Trip would be mad and he needed to either go to Trip, despite what Tessa wanted, or start locking his damn door.
When they were found out, things went about the way I thought. Tessa did have one surprise that I wasn't sure if it made things better or worse. Either way they dealt with things and moved forward and seemed to be happy with where it landed them.
Its hard to believe that there have been 12 books in this series. When I first discovered this author Diesel had just come out in the other series. Now, that series has finished, the Shadows have ended, and now 12 books in this one. Time has a funny way of going fast but also feeling like it was yesterday. To be at the end stings a little. Especially, knowing that it will be awhile before this author comes around to MC romance again. I'll be here waiting for that time.
There were parts of this I struggled with, mainly Tripp, because he is just so abrasive. It really bothered me in this one because he knows how love works. Regardless, I enjoyed seeing Easy get his love. A love, that was a total surprise.
I absolutely LOVED this story! Easy and Tessa were spectacular together. So much grit and emotion! I also appreciated how so many small things were revealed about the Fury. And the way the Epilogue concludes the series; all about finding family and home.
Easy is book twelve it the Blood & Bones series. I enjoyed and savored every word in this book. Easy is just that – Easy and never in a million years did he think that he would find someone and want to settle down. We see a side of him that is gentle, kind and caring. This storyline is witty, emotional, action packed, and will keep you on the edge of your seat. I am so sad to see this series end. The town of Manning Grove has a special place in the hearts of its readers as do each and every member of the Fury and the Bryson Family. This series totally encapsulated the brilliant writing of Ms. St. James. Storylines were wrapped up with a neat little bow on top! A definite must read!
This was a perfect ending to a series that I have come to love. The writing of the characters and the world building is some of the best out there.
Easy has flown under the radar for the series but seeing him come into his own and find the one meant for him was truly as amazing sight. The feels that this book brings out is absolutely perfect for how everything plays out. I can't get past, I never knew I needed him but he is up there in my favorite characters but I think I say that every time with a JSJ book....but it is true.
I am sad to see this series ending and am looking forward to seeing them in the future (possibly)
The final book in the Blood & Bones series belongs to Easy, from the beginning Easy popped in and out of the stories but I would never call him one of the main characters so I was unsure what to expect from his story. I am delighted to say that I'm glad Jeanne St. James decided to give him his own story. I really enjoyed Easy and Tessa.
With the Guardian's of Freedom drama dealt with at the end of Whip's story I wondered where we would be going with Easy. The drama from the Guardian's was not missed. All the drama is in their relationship and what they go through together and then the series is all tied up in a neat bow at the end of the book.
This was a great read.
If you like MC's then the whole Blood & Bones series will win you over. A bunch of alpha holes who are possessive, protective, sexy AF and will die for those they love. . . . Easy doesn't know what he has gotten himself into. He's been sneaking around with Tessa for a few months, every night she sneaks into his room they have sex and she leaves. There are no words, no lights, and nothing after. At first, the whole deal worked for Easy, apart from the fact that if the president finds out he'll throw Easy a blanket party for sure. Now though Easy isn't as ok with the arrangement. He can't stop thinking about Tessa and he wants more. He just needs to get her to stay long enough to talk.
'She tried to break free of the kiss, but he only held on tighter, keeping her there. What he couldn’t say out loud, he told her silently. You’re mine. You’re fuckin’ mine. Whether you wanna admit it or not. You’re gonna realize it one day soon. And when you do… Oh, fuck, when you do… There will be no hidin’ it. Everybody will fuckin’ know. Just like I already do. But ’til then we’ll play this chess game of yours. ’Til the king captures the queen, knockin’ her off her feet and outta the game. Check-fuckin’-mate.'
Tessa is surely walking on the wild side. As Cage and Jemma's house mouse and Trip's little sister, her life as part of the MC is a good one, and sleeping with a member is only going to rock the boat. With her options limited in the form of male company, that doesn't get chased away, Easy seems like the best man to help her scratch her itch. But that is all it is, in and out like nothing ever happened.
When Easy tries to get Tessa to talk she panics and shuts him down. If he goes to Trip there will be expectations on her and Easy and she's not ready for that. She has no idea if she wants to stay with the club let alone become someone's ol' lady. Easy needs to pump the breaks and leave things the way they are.
Tessa might not think it but Easy is serious about whatever it is they are doing either ending or becoming out in the open. It seems no matter how serious he is he can't say no to her.
When Cage figures out what's going on he's furious but he knows when Trip finds out things are going to get a whole lot worse. Agreeing to give them a very small window to figure it out, Easy and Tessa try to make sense of how they are feeling and what they want.
After an accident throws their plan out the window the whole club finds out and Trip is set to explode. The accident not only outs their relationship but also gives Tessa something to think about. With Trip banning them from seeing each other or having any contact, they get a whole lot of time to think about what they want.
When Trip's punishment is over Easy and Tessa will have to figure out if they can be a real couple without sneaking around.
Blood & Bones: Easy Blood Fury MC, Book 12 By: Jeanne St. James Narrated by: Ava Lucas, Teddy Hamilton
After giving up four years of his life for trusting someone, Easy does not give it out easily. When he became patched into the Blood Fury, he knew he had found the one place that accepts him for who he is, has his back as he has all of theirs. But when his heart gets involved, trust may not be the only issue. A woman is now in his life, and though he wants to share his happiness with the club, she is hesitant. The casual relationship has grabbed Easy's heart. What will happen when things come out? Will the rules allow Easy to remain? Jeanne St James took my heart with this one. I love Easy. He had been dealt some unfortunate circumstances, and he pulled himself up and found his spot in life. The push pull of his relationship, the result of the secrets and the twist that comes in the end had me on edge! This is the perfect ending for this series, as all the club is around, the true feeling of family and understanding. I love this story and this series is one of my favorite! I look forward to seeing some crossovers!
Ava Lucas and Teddy Hamilton. I don't have to say more than that, as Jeanne St James knows how to pick her narrators. Each one is perfect for their character, finding their stride and making them real. Lucas creates a character that is hestiant, unsure and on the edge, but truly has a heart of gold when insecurities are overcome. Such a great depiction of her. Hamilton is Easy. He is gritty, yet a teddy bear! I love how he understands Easy and makes him true to himself. The perfect team for this one, and a listen that should not be missed.
Easy seems to take the hardest way to every thing. I think it would have been a little better if at least his mom came to the wedding, called or sent a card... But I guess his parents had to both stay in character and be bad. Tess has lots of confidence issues but her story was mostly thinking... There were exciting bits, like Shade dealing with his dad, and the accident with the deer but much of the story is kinda in the heads of the couple... What they think, feel, their past... There are quite a few places the story sorta jumps like the blanket part for Easy that kinda ends up with Tests telling everyone she's pregnant... Or the way they are at the accident scene then hospital then he's in a meeting, it seemed kinda choppy. I got the feeling this was a kinda revisit of all the couples and their stories in some ways but it was an ok story... It has a good story with some elements that keep you wanting to find out more... Oh and the intense disposal of a bad guy... Unfortunately the getting to know each other happens in a skipped part of the story you only find out about on reflection... As a memory... I prefer to read the interaction than have it condensed into a sentence of they spent time in the three weeks before the accident getting to know each other and he told her about his family and what happened that sent him to prison for four years... It sorta felt like a cheat like when you have a homework assignment and you need it to be turned in and you don't have time to actually finish the story so you just add a memory of when it happened so it done.
So I binge read 33 of Jeanne St. James books starting with Brothers in Blue and so far ending with Blood & Bones. All I can say is I'm so hooked on these guys. The final book in Blood & Bones is Easy's and Jeanne did a perfect job wrapping this up. At first I wasn't thrilled with Tess especially putting Easy at risk. But as I read on I started to understand somewhat what was in her head. Tess was the Prez's sister and was off limits to all the guys. When Easy wanted to go to him Tess asked him not to. They were both playing with fire. On that fateful night when a deer almost took them out their secret was revealed and oh boy not good. Also (not spilling the beans here) when Tessa was handed some surprising news everything started to unravel. Oh yes you better believe Trip gave Easy 2 weeks to heal then the punisher was brought out. Again Easy took the brunt of the punishment for a woman just like when he was a teenager and was defending himself. Man Trip really has a temper a scary one at that. When tempers calmed all was good. Don't want to spoil this last read for anyone, but trust me it was good. At the end Jeanne mentions more books on the guys crossovers etc. which will go back to the DAMC and the Dark Knights I can't freaking wait. Now I'm onto the Blue Avengers and so can't wait.
This series comes to a close just like we started, with family. The president of the Blood Fury was set on building something great on the ashes of past. Ashes filled with pain, betrayal, abuse would be paved over, buried. Easy, like so many of the guys, found the Fury when he had no one and nothing to his name but a prison record. Deserted by his parents while incarcerated, he was welcomed into the brotherhood and he never looked back. Now he is risking his patch, his home, his family for the woman who keeps sneaking into his bed. But he can't stop, won't stop. She is in his blood now. I was an anxious mess for two thirds of this story. Sneaking behind Trip's back is a dangerous game to play and Easy knows how that game ends. Yet these two are like magnets and soon they have both caught feelings. The push and pull between them kept me up so very late but I loved watching them grow closer. There is a wonderful bit of the story where Easy is helping Shade with a thing and it showed what a deep friendship they have. Such a great read. I have to say, while I'm sad that this main series is done, its been a phenomenal ride!
This review is so very sad for me to leave! I have loved these characters from the start, and now that the main series (12 books) is complete, it hurts my heart to know my time with them is done. I will certainly be binge reading these again!!
This talented author has written a "world" that is addictive and easy to enjoy. It has everything we want, need and love in an MC romance series: Clubhouse and Brotherhood loyalties? ✔ Resilient and Strong women? ✔ Steamy chemistry and attractions? ✔ A perfectly written Happy Ever After? ✔
I can not say enough good things about this author. Her style and skills keep a reader entertained and attached to each character. I really enjoy the world she has written, as it is easy to fall into. Each book in this series was impossible to put down once started. The pages literally turned themselves and before I knew it, I was at the end!
I STRONGLY recommend reading the books from this author in her published reading order to get the most from each character and each story.
Thank you Jeanne for sharing your creativity and masterful skills with all of us! I look forward to reading your next one!
Easy just wants to have fun but he gets himself into a difficult situation that could get him in a lot of trouble. He's not sure what to do about it so he just lets it ride and continues to enjoy himself. He knows keeping a big secret is hard to get away with for very long but he just cannot stop himself.
Just know that when you start a story by Jeanne that you will have a hard time putting it down. The anxiety and suspense will keep you so interested you just have to see what will happen next. What a great ending to a fantastic series. It was great to catch up with all the Fury members and their families. Everyone of these alpha guys found their equal and together they all found people who would always have their back. Shade was one of my favorites of the Fury MC and it was wonderful to read about how his life came full circle. I can't what to see what Jeanne comes up with next. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
As much as I was dying to read this book - I also put it off for awhile. I wasn’t (and still am not) ready for this series to be over right now. Thank goodness the author has mentioned second generation books and crossovers from her MC series. That helps me from being too upset. The story was wonderful. Easy and Tessa okay a very dangerous game thinking it’s just a bunch of booty calls, but end up falling in love. I’ve got to say I’m disappointed in Trip. The book left me with kinda a bad taste in my mouth over him. While a club rule was broken, the punishment was extreme and more because Trip felt hurt vs. being best for the club. He truly hasn’t seemed to learn better from Buck’s mistakes with violence and his temper. I’m not sure if I was Tessa that I’d ever forgive him or stick around after all of that nonsense. The epilogue was beautiful and a nice way to see all of the couples and how far they’ve come over the entire series. I’m already anxious for more.
Oh my goodness, this book…. I didn’t have low expectations for the book, honestly don’t know what I was thinking going into it. Easy really never hit my radar that often. I mean I know he was around, he just didn’t catch my attention…sneaky little booger. After reading his book, Easy is without a doubt one of my favorites! He’s sweet and funny and loyal and just a really good man. This book is so amazing, the main character are perfect for each other. We also got to get reacquainted with one of my other favorites, Shade, and see him lay some more of his demons to rest. There also is plenty of humor. The executive meeting…Ozzy absolutely cracks me up! Oh and Jemma is my hero, do not mess with that woman! Once again Ms. St. James has sheared her vivid imagination with us and I am so glad she did!
Who knew we needed Easy?! I sure didn’t! I wasn’t sure what to expect from him. He was just there, a character that didn’t stand out in the other books but let me tell you, he is a needed & amazing character!
His lady (I don’t want to spoil it for you) is a great addition to the sisterhood. They were a great paring. I truly loved the inner monologue for both Easy & his girl. I really enjoyed seeing more of the club inner workings with the drama Easy & his lady caused. The secondary characters added so much to this story! Cage was an unexpected surprise & Jemma + Sailor. The Shade storyline was a great ending too!
I never love to read that last of a series but this one was amazing. I was left feeling satisfied with the ending for all the characters. I enjoyed seeing a bit of everyone in the epilogue.
Oh my gosh - I had not expected to fall in love with Easy and his Significant Other (I will not reveal who she is, as trust me you don't wanna know it). His character was just there, nothing that interesting while reading previous books where he was a character - always in the back, a shadow. So how we should be interested in him? Well, I was so wrong! His character was amazing! The others were too! Easy and his SO are made for each other - you will know what I mean when you read this story, but you SHOULD read other books, as this would mean not understanding the depth of the story overall and especially epilogue - this one made me inner cry for the closure for every character and tying all loose ends. This is the series that I will get back to in the future as this author did an amazing job here. I know I will read everything from Ms. St. James - so I can't wait for something new!
Such a bittersweet moment for me when I read the very last word in this book. I have loved each and every book in this series, and for Easy's book to be the last - I am just gutted. But as I flipped over page after page, if Easy's book had to be the last written, boy did Jeanne do this bunch of misfit characters a fabulous send-off. I had no preconceived ideas as to how this book would unfold, but by the end I knew it was written exactly how it was meant to. The book brings not only brings closure to Easy's story, but even some previous storylines that I didn't know I needed to read. Jeanne is such a masterful storyteller, and I never know what adventure she will take me on - I just like to continuously hop on for the unpredictable ride. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book
It’s been a while since I’ve been literally ready to throw my iPad across the room, but Easy’s book seriously had me on the verge. I’m still pretty much up in my feelings.
Easy’s Love interest , had me on the edge of my seat and that’s honestly normally pretty hard to do.
Jeanne St. James did an exceptional job of tying up loose questions that may have been left with any of the previous Blood Fury Books.. the Epilogue was amazing!
I would definitely suggest starting with first book in the Blood Fury MC, Trip and reading tru them all.
I wish I could give more than 5 Stars for this book, because it’s been awhile that a book has taken me on such a roller coaster ride of emotions..
Before I dive into Easy, I need to stress how important it is for you to read this entire series. If you don’t you are missing out on an amazing world.
As always the author delivered a million star work of art! Ahh!!! This one had so many twists, extra goodies, nail biting suspense, scorching hot scenes, heart breaking realizations and discoveries, intense moments of coming to truth.
I will not spoil one thing about this masterpiece. It’s simply perfect. Sadly this ends this part of the Blood Fury. I was excited to see how Easy’s story ended but sad because it was the last book of this series.
You will absolutely love this book and all of the finishing touches to some of our most beloved characters.
Easy is the 12th and final book in the series. I absolutely loved reading this book. I'm sad that this series has to come to an end. The series has always been more about second chances within the MC. Family is so much more than blood its who you choose. It takes a village. Easy has watched his brothers find their other half and finally his has come into his life. The chemistry between Easy and his lady is amazing. Tessa is Trip's sister and house mouse for Cage and Jemma. She comes to Easy at night and leaves right after having her way with him. Easy wants to come clean to Trip. Things have a way of coming out and the sh*t hits the fan. To find out how it all works out, you need to read this book.
A nice ending to the Blood Fury MC but I will say it felt a bit rushed.
I feel like this story suffered a bit from telling instead of showing the reader the story. Lots of time jumps with oh and this happened in between the jump.
Also feel like we didn't get enough of the back story of the two MCs. We learn a little of Tessa's issues of feeling loved and accepted because of her relationship with her mother but honestly there would be way more trauma and issues because it. I know JSJ can write some amazing backstory and depth to characters especially those with trauma so it felt a bit sad to not get that with Tessa and Easy.
Still an amazing read and I'd def recommend JSJ and her series to those interested.
Ya'll, I say it with every single book Jeanne St. James puts out...you have completely blown my mind!! Just when I think I can't fall for another biker I do. Easy is just so dam lovable and Tess is the one who needs his easy love. He shows her that she is worthy and she shows him that all decisions don't always end with bad results. The twist was not something I ever saw coming....but DAM!! It was amazing!!! And do not get me started on the epilogue... My heart is so happy for the brothers and the sisterhood. Cannot wait until the next generation. Thank you Jeanne St. James for an awesome ride! Your devotion to your books, characters, and us fans is strong and we love you for it. Until next time...I will be living in Shadow Valley for just a bit longer 😁
When your past speaks in your head constantly you d out EVERYTHING. When you have been treated as if you are nothing, you start to believe you deserve nothing.
Tessa had a mother who treated her as if she never deserved to be born. A father who never truly wanted her, so why would any man really want her and she didn't want anyone telling her what she could or couldn't do. Stubborn? Absolutely, she is Trio's sister after all.
Easy made a mistake in his past. He paid for it even though it wasn't his doing. He had parents that turned their backs on him. Now he has the fury, but did he screw that up by making a bad decision, or did he finally make the wrong decision for all the right reasons? Loved this so much!
