Edith and Pastor Charles own a Bed and Breakfast in a quaint Christmas themed town of Christmas Valley. Their children are unable to visit this year, so they book in some guests. They pray that God would send them just the right people who need God’s love this Christmas. Several couples, a mother and daughter, an elderly man and an abrupt old women show up. Then a young couple about to have a baby break down in front of the Inn. Anything can happen at the Church Christmas play! This was a delightful story about how God provides when circumstances seem dire. Healing and a little matchmaking take place, too. Lesson learned: do not be surprised when God answers prayer and you are willing to be used by being hospitable.
*I purchased this book from a library sale. All opinions are my own.*
This is one of the best Christmas books ever! A delightful story of a couple who show true hospitality to strangers ... and in so doing possibly entertain "angels unaware". A beautiful depiction of the way we should act, at Christmastime, and all the time! And a fun story as well.
A beautiful and inspirational re-read!
Dec 2023 ... once again, one of the best books of the season! A quick and easy read, a delightful story of a small town, people in a lot of various needs, and a wonderful inspiration for the season!

This was a cute story about a cantankerous, busy body guest at an inn at Christmas. Myrtle is in everyone's business and manages to finagles her way into helping with the Christmas pageant. In the end the owners of the inn wonder where did she come from?
3.5 ⭐️ This was a fun Christmas read reminding us to take time during the season to share kindness. I enjoyed this novella immensely and look forward to reading more by the author!
I'd had enough of the ridiculously hot weather we've had the past few weeks, so I decided to cool down with a Christmas read. So I picked this book off my shelf where it had been sitting for quite some time and read it in one day. It's the story of a unique group of folks who decide to spend Christmas at a little bed and breakfast in an out of the way town in Oregon that prides itself on its Christmas spirit. The story is at times humorous and at other times hopeful, but always charming and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
I enjoyed this Christmas story. I loved seeing the interaction between all the townsfolks and the guests at the inn. A bit disappointed in the ending though. Over all, a nice quick, easy read.
