Hello. I'm Pierce Brown, the author of the Red Rising Saga, a NYT #1 bestseller.
I figured I'd write you myself than have corporate copy pasted below my totally natural author photo.

In my books you'll find stories of men and women finding their inner strength when all seems lost. You'll also find me exploring themes of love, violence, hope, and power--what it means, why people seek it, and how they hold onto it.

Sons of Ares Vol. 2: Wrath, was a great follow-up, more action, more heart, and deeper insight into the rebellion. It kept me hooked the whole way through. Really enjoying seeing Ares’ story unfold.

Obviously this is much more condensed than a full novel but i love that it just gets down to the nitty gritty. Fitchner is such a bad ass and i love it. He has no issue with throwing that razor around and i am here for it chile! haha

Not as well packed as the previous adaptation. Although very enjoyable for Red Rising fans.

Red Rising: Sons of Ares, Vol. 2: Wrath collects issues 7-12 of the Son of Ares graphic novel series, a prequel to Pierce Brown's Red Rising series. Like the first collection, I listened to Wrath via audiobook, specifically the Graphic Audio dramatization that fully produces the story with a full voice cast, sound effects and a cinematic score.

Being the second entry in the prequel trilogy, Wrath serves more as a link between volumes. There's a greater focus here on the relationship between Fitchner and Quicksilver, and by the end of the volume, the Sons of Ares becomes a full-fledged revolutionary sect. Like the first volume, the best aspect of Wrath is gaining insight into the Society prior to its collapse.

This dramatization of Wrath is only three hours long, and it sets up to the final volume — Forbidden Song — quite nicely. Once again, if you're a fan of the Red Rising series, I highly recommend listening to the Graphic Audio dramatization of the Sons of Ares series if your library has access to them.

I really loved this graphic audio performance. Once again, great voice acting and sound effects. And I like the story and how it foreshadows (even though it's a prequel) Quicksilver's ambitions in the saga.

I also like how this time around they separated the storylines by chapter.

I love how the audio performance expands on some of the dialogue and descriptions.
I laughed when Fitchner was interviewing housekeepers/child care workers.
And the great quotes from the graphic novel sounded great on audio.

5 out of 5 Shipbuilders.
