Loved it
Is there much more to say than it was another excellent book by Vall? probably not but reviews have a word count so... in short I loved it
He's gotten much better in giving characters motivations outside of sex, his story lines are still fun and engaging, dialogue is better overall than it was a few years ago, still can do with out the "Awe shucks" humble MC stuff but, hey that's kind of a trope for this genre and its better than the arrogant vain glorious twit who has no brains or sense trope so no real complaints. I really think this new rotation is showing his more creative side and I can't wait for the next installment.

Rock it, roll it. And then drop kick it. What a life and a turn of events for The Alpha. Mercenaries on one side the FBI on the other. What's an alpha to do, simple, remove the problem. Go for the jugular and let it bleed. Once again poor Jessie is just wanting to enjoy his women, go to college, and protect his pack. But seems some people just can't help but poke The Alpha. So what's a shifter to do...

Mother great.addition to the shifter storyline!
Jesse,aka the ALPHA, gets a message that the parents of the late Aiden and Max wish to see him! And Jesse gets a shock regarding the wier tradition regarding the deposed Alphas children! And on top there seems to.be a plot afoot to attack the ALPHA! And it seems that a government agency is sniffing around! Never a dull moment for an innocent shifter king.!

Entertaining Read
Jessie is trying to integrate the new pack members. He steamroles over some minor opposition. However, some strange men are tracking him and his pack. Also, a government agent comes to visit and her investigation persists longer than what is comfortable. Is it too much to ask for some relaxation time to enjoy his Omegas? I like the action, humor, romance, and mystery. I look forward to the next book.

More Alpha awesomeness!
The Alpha is a series that hooked me from the start and the kind of series that just keeps getting better with every book.
And Book 4 adds a whole bunch more into an already awesome world, with two new threats on the horizon and old enemies causing trouble.

Excellent Series
Excellent book with hot action, adventure and well crafted characters. Jesse and his group have come to the attention of the FBI, and a group of were-hunters. Things start moving fast, and there is someone in the shadows moving pieces! I'm looking forward to the next book!

Non-shifter threats and shifter politics
Another awesome addition to the series. Non-shifter threats are aimed at Jesse and his growing pack. Shifter politics abound and character development continues apace. This series is a dark twist compared to other series by Eric Vall, but just as great as his other series to date. Now I need book 5.

Extremely Awesome Book!
The Alpha series book four. Is a perfect addition to this series. Jesse and his ladies as well as his pack. Are all fantastic characters. Set in a realistic world setting. The Alpha storyline is very fun to read too. As the author puts a great sense of humor. Into his writing. Can't wait to read book five.

Lots of action
I really enjoyed the story and a lot of action and a little bit of intrigue and mystery. There are a lot of battle scenes and of course there are a few spicy scenes cuz Jesse has to show his love for his girls and they for him. Vending of the book has a interesting twist and I can't wait to read what happens next.

Good but different from the first three.
This book was an interesting change of pace from the last books. Gave the series a chance to build a little before we move on with the story line.

Mr Vall, keep these books coming. Like Summoner and Dragon Conjurer, you once again sucked into a story-line that once I start reading, I just can't seem to even want to put down. Keep 'em coming and I'll keep on reading.

Another Winner
Fun read, I really like the characters more in this book then the first three books. I can see each of them evolving into much more then window dressing. Really looking forward to the next book.

The story around Jesse and his‘ Omegas goes on. Some humans are looking in the latest death of an Alpha. It wouldn’t be a problem if they weren’t although looking into Jesse. Is this just a coincidence or is this a serious threat to the new pack?

What happened with narration? Same dude, but the character voices.. Who listened to Gemma and was like, "I always heard her in my head as a terminally stupid camel trying to pass as a human. Perfect!"

Too much. I believe I will at least pause my reading. There also needs more action in a more clear, easier to grasp, way. I am getting lost in the names and numbers of the new members also. I wish I were able to describe better, what I want, but I am not a writer, lol.
