Oberon has made a splash on the world. With his undead armies amassing, he continues to gather strength to unite the world in death and destruction. To do that thoroughly, he needs more than a few things. Hunting down an artifact that will give him power equal to a god, he is forced into the Wandering Labyrinth. A place that even the gods failed to conquer. All is not as it seems inside though. Something is hurting the Labyrinth, the question is whether Oberon will hinder or aid it. The insurrection of Mayhem might be the final straw to force hidden powers that have slept almost as long as he back into the open.
So Oberon continues to conquer the continent and discovers more about his downfall. He wasn’t the only one betrayed. His granddaughter is becoming more powerful and both are well on the way to godhood. And the Hero of old is summoned and it’s a possible crossover!!!!
It’s a fun read. Fast paced. Some editing issues, but still enjoyable. I really look forward to the next on.
The only thing I hated was it was to short. Wish it was longer and I cant wait for next one, I actually waited to read this one being that I knew it was short and wanted to really enjoy as much as I could. Please don’t forget about this one as Im really tried of reading books about the someone being a hero all the time.
This is an interesting construct. A heroic overpowered protagonist is betrayed and killed but comes back pissed as a dark avenger still overpowered but now a member of the living dead. The only issue is that there is so much time between the books being published that it takes me a while to get into each new book, but it is worth the effort. Love this series
This is one of my favorite type of relaxation series.OP MC that just does not give a crap, out to rule the world. Definitely recommended if you are a fan of overpowered main characters.
The characters are stale. The story is nonexistent. The tempo has been abandoned in favor of surprise twists. Using that mechanic over and over is the death of a series.
