Mia and Chase's story got the skim treatment. I just couldn't force myself to read most of it.

Mia is a very spoiled mafia princess and her father has just died and she just found a dead man in her house. To make matters worse she's kidnapped after her father's funeral by Chase who she had a serious crush on when he worked for her father now she thinks that he cheated with her mother so she's giving him hell. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this book full of secrets to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this mafia love story.

Mia's Mafia father just died. She is alone on the third floor of her home hearing 'bumps in the night.' When she creeps downstairs, she finds Chase embracing her mother and blood from a deadman on both of them. When Chase worked for her father, she had a crush on him, but now she can't stand that he cheated with her mother. Chase kidnaps her after the funeral and she gives him all kinds of trouble. When the true story eventually comes out, it is very different than Mia imagined and makes a good happy ever after.

Great short, hot story. Mia is the mafia princess that Chase always protected even after he left the family and her father died. He had loved her even though their age was so great. Once she gave into her true feelings she found a great love with him and their family.

This is a short ,fast paced mafia romance with strong characters and an interesting story line. The author does a terrific job painting her scenes and developing her characters. It's well written and is a great story.
