You’d think that a college town would have a lot of job opportunities but that’s not the case in Sequoia. I’ve already exhausted all of the businesses in town but no one is hiring.
No one but the Stud Farm.
When I go out the night before my interview with some friends hoping to blow off some steam and celebrate summer break it was just meant to be fun.
Instead, I end the night by slapping Griz Ford.
I didn’t know that it was him, I swear. I figured that out the next day when I showed up for my interview at the Stud Farm and found him grinning at me across the kitchen table.
I figure there’s no way that I’m getting this job, but he surprises me and we end up making a bet.
30 days.
I work for him, cooking for him and cleaning his house. In that time, he’ll try to get me to fall for him. All I have to do to win enough money to cover my costs for the next school year is resist him.

I LOVED this book! From beginning to end, I was enthralled. Griz and Monty meet one night at a bar but because Griz comes off as cocky and awkward, he ends up getting slapped. The very next day Monty finds out that the place where she applied to work (Stud Farm) is owned by Griz and that she would be working under him. He makes a bet to see if she could fall in love with him within 30 days.
They have fantastic chemistry and the spice is off the charts. I really enjoyed reading this, five stars!
important bits: virgin heroine celibate hero no OM/OW drama no cheating safe HEA & epilogue!.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
3.4 stars. This was an insta-love, virgin FMC, rancher MMC, novella length romance. Not gonna lie, I was here for the smut And I got it. It was for sure hot. It was also pretty dang sweet. The FMC (yes, I just finished the book and I can not for the life of me remember her damn nam—*snaps* Monty! It was Monty! 😂 I remembered Nevermind)…anyway… Monty had a shit childhood with addicted parents, and she doesn’t trust easily. Griz helps her heal and accept his love for her.
Someone wrote in a review that they could tell when the author changed because in one moment our Hero was nuzzling his nose against our girl and giving sweet kisses on her cheeks, whispering all the praise and sweet nothings into her ear to furiously railing her, demanding no less than 5 orgasams and a soaked bed along with her passing out from too much pleasure 💀☠️💀
And I just have to say that is exactly Cameron Hart’s style. It’s some of the most bonkers sex I’ve ever read. Not sure about Shaw Hart since this is all I have read but I can decidedly say this fits the other author’s MO.
Also, Griz was hilarious. I laughed so much at his internal monologue
“I try not to wince at my words, and instead, end up winking at her. Kill me. She stares at me, her face turning red with anger. And then it hits me. Her hand. She slaps me across the face. Hard.”
Anywho, love it and will continue on to see more unhinged sex scenes where our Heroine has no ability to avoid falling in love for the pure and simple fact that the man is a genius in bed. Well worth my time.
Griz and Monty were so hot together! This book packed a punch in a short amount of time. The chemistry, the ambiance, the side characters…what’s not to love.
If you are looking for an instalove, cowboy romance, look no further! Cameron and Shaw knocked it out of the park.
Good romance book and good start of a new series, if you read, you’ll want to continue, This is the hottest book I’ve read from these authors, actually it’s very steamy, Safe and very romantic Very interesting secondary characters!
WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.

Branded de Shaw Hart Serie Sequoia Stud Farm libro 1
Argumento:
This story is fabulous! From the first couple of pages the characters are identified and their personalities come out and they grab your attention. Each of them seem to be the opposite of each other. Griz has a ranch he grew up on and loves. He is a charmer, sexy, handsome, toned muscles and an air of confidence. Monty’s home life was very bad with bad parents. She is quite, shy, gorgeous and works hard but doesn’t date. She is currently looking for a job. When Griz sees her from across the bar he knows she is the one. When Monty walks into the bar she feels the tingles, sizzles and wonders why and then she sees Griz. The characters make this story come to life! They are likable/lovable. They have an easy going nature and an instant attraction. What will happen? The story is hot, sexy, steamy and passionate. But the story is also tender, caring, compassionate, good hearted and loving. So good. So sweet. So romantic. Why do we read romance - to find that love story that will make you feel their romance and can’t help but love! That for me was this story. Great read!.

I downloaded this on Stuff Your Kindle day today! I'm giving this free book 3.5 stars!
I went into this book with one goal: I needed a short and sweet, smutty story. I had hope this would fit the bill. This story delivered exactly that!
Griz is literally so hot. His obsession with using his mouth is fantastic. I loved how obviously head over heels he was for Monty and how much he wanted to love her. He always abided by what she needed though and did a good job holding back.
This was fast paced and definitely insta-love. I think insta-love only works for me in novellas, because the timing feels more necessary. The plot was a little light and the pacing kind of surprised me. When Monty and Griz had their first time, I was surprised it happened when it did. I expected a little more build up, just based off the story. And the third act conflict felt very abrupt and overplayed, but it was solved easily enough and we were able to move on quickly.
Anyway, I'm gonna have to check out the other books in this series. This wasn't fantastic but it hit the spot I wanted it to. This novella was enjoyable, I'm glad I read it.
Another amazing book by two of my favorite authors!!! This is such a sweet, low angst, insta-love kind of story. We have Monty who has sworn off relationships due to an awful childhood & Griz who is just about everyone’s perfect book boyfriend. Monty assumes that Griz is the typical vain, woman chaser, player because he works at ‘Stud Ranch’, little does she know he’s a complete gentleman & the locals in town gave the Ranch that nickname due to what they think of him & his brothers. Monty goes for an interview at the ranch to only find out that Griz would be her boss. He offers her a bet of 30 days to fall in love with him or they’d go their separate ways. Thinking it’s a piece of cake - Monty agrees. He then spends those weeks slowly gaining her trust & they blossom into a beautiful relationship. Like I said before, Griz is the definition of a perfect book boyfriend. This was such an adorable quick read. I cannot wait to see what the brothers get into!!!

Monty has an interview at the Stud Farm. It's her last chance to be able to stay in California for the summer. She doesn't want to have to go to Fallen Peak and stay with her sister. The night before her interview, she goes out with her friends. When she get hit on by a guy that ask her if she wants him to " give her a wild ride ", she slaps him and walks away. With one look, Griz knew that Monty was his soulmate but she left him tongue tied and saying inappropriate things. Monty gets a huge surprise when she shows up for her interview only to find out that Griz will be her new boss. When Griz offers Monty a bet, 30 days to give him a chance for her to fall in love with him, she thinks that should be easy. She has always stayed away from guys because how she was raised. She didn't realize just how determined Griz was. Griz was so sweet and caring. He was determined to show Monty that he was all in no matter what. I would love to have a Griz for myself!!!! I can't wait for the next in this series.
Branded is the first book in the series and is Griz and Monty's tale.
Love Griz. What comes across as cocky and arrogant is actual an awkward shy guy that is taken by a beautiful woman.
Griz does not get off the farm much and does not interact with other. So tonight, he was meeting up with his friend at the bar, when he spotted Monty walk in. Monty had a rough childhood and is hoping that her interview at the Ford Farm will allow here to stay, if not she will have to go back home for the summer. She is out with friends when she feels the instant connection with Griz when she walks in.
This is a fun fast read with the perfect amount of push and pull as Monty fights her attraction, and struggle with the comment from her parents and her feeling about her future. Griz has a big heart and wants nothing but to have Monty as his, but he needs to prove to her that he will always be there for her.

Griz is a cowboy at “Stud Farm” who gets slapped by Monty at a bar. Little does she know that she has a job interview at the farm with him the next day. They make a bet about her falling for him within a month. She bets against this happening but he is so certain it will. But does she really lose if he wins?
I really liked Griz because he worked to gain Monty’s affection and he was really sweet to her. Monty has trouble with trust and letting people in so she’s a bit hesitant towards Griz, I do enjoy when a heroine makes the hero chase after her a bit.
I love cowboy books and this one was a great read. It was funny, sweet and heartwarming. I can’t wait for the rest of the series.
If you’re interested, Monty’s sister Tilly is the heroine in “A Very Mountain Man Christmas” from the “Fallen Peak” series which is another great series to read.

Monty did not want to go stay with her sister and her husband for the summer. She preferred to stay in Sequoia, but she was having a hard time finding a job. She has one last interview tomorrow at the Stud Farm, tonight she is going out with friends. She meets a man at the club that night she ends up slapping, little did she know he was the one interviewing her the next day.
Griz too one look at her and knew she was it for him, but she seems to think he is a player. When she shows up at his house the next day, it is time to take advantage of her need for a job. He offers her a bet, that he can make her fall in love with him in thirty days. If he loses she gets paid for the whole summer, if he wins, they both do.
I loved this story, Griz did not let her keep him at arms length.

OMG if you like cool and sexy cowboys and their stories then this is the book to read. From beginning to end. We start with the fact that Giz and Monty meet on a night out at a bar. At first I didn't know what to think of GIz, but once further into the book you'll love him and the storyline. When Monty finds out the day after they ran into each other in the bar where she applied is the Stud Farm and also that it is Giz's company. The characters and the characters flow into each other perfectly and hold your attention while reading this story, the chemistry and attraction is palpable between them and there are plenty of steamy and hot scenes. This book is definitely recommended and well worth reading. Looking forward to the next part of this new series
I received a free ARC copy in exchange for my honest review
Nothing like slapping your potential future boss the night before your interview . Well that’s just what Monty did. It was instalove for Griz, however getting tongue tied around his soul mate meant Monty wasn’t impressed. So she slapped him and walked away.
Imagine her shock when he opens to the door to her interview the next day. Determined to win her over, Griz bets her 30 days. 30 days to get her to fall in love or he will pay her a while summers salary. Griz slowly works his way into Monty’s heart. He is so sweet and gentle with her. Knowing she has been hurt before.
The more time they spend together, Monty is also unable to deny their attraction.
Their story was sweet, steamy and filled with plenty of heart. Can’t wait for the rest of the brothers.
I read this book 📕through KU and will buy this book in the future either by itself or thru the bundle when that comes out. If I like the other books then I will buy the bundle but if they aren’t steamy enough I will just buy the books 📚 I like. I am looking forward to reading all of the brothers’ books😊🤞🏻 There were some steamy scenes in this book but they don’t consummate till around 63%. They know each other for a couple of weeks. Low drama, sweet Main Characters, virgin female. My only complaint is the losing virginity scene, lol, no foreplay at all, just some kissing… for some reasons I notice with these authors they do this sometimes, they have steamy foreplay in the other scenes in the book but when having the losing virginity scene… nothing, lol. Like I said earlier I am looking forward to the other brother books 📚 ❤️
Probably 2 1/2 stars. Monty is introduced in another book and I was super excited to read her story. How Monty and Griz met was super cute and with the bet the story was looking really good but then it fell flat to me. I have no problem with a sex heavy romance novel but when there aren’t enough non-sex moments to actually build your attachment to the characters and the sex scene are so frequent and wordy that you start skimming them, it’s not a successful read. It would have been nice to also have some interactions with the other people that live on the ranch to introduce you to them before their books. There’s one or two lines with one brother on the phone but that does little to get you excited for future stories. So far the mountain man series with her sister Tilly was much more successful. On a side note, nicknames are fine but a h calling her H Griz is cringy.
This was a wonderful story! Monty is looking for a job and wants to be able to stand on her own two feet. She is a strong, independent woman who has had a terrible childhood. The only good thing that came out of it was her sister. Griz owns part of the Stud Ranch. From the moment he saw Monty, he knew that she was The One. Their meet cute was anything but cute. Griz fumbled around and it did not end well for him. Griz makes a bet that he can make Monty fall for him in 30 days. She agrees reluctantly. It was so much fun watching them try their darkest to win the bet! This book was incredibly enjoyable!.

These ladies know how to write together, each book they collaborate on is fantastic and this is no exception. While out with her friends Monty sees Griz across the bar she is attracted to him but then he gets arrogant and she dislikes him. Coincidentally she also has a job interview at his ranch the next day, so she thinks it's best they don't let things go further. He hires her to be a live in housekeeper but they also make a bet that she will fall in love with him within 30 days. As they live together they fall into a routine and eventually they give into the sexual tension and love they have for one another. With every books these ladies write there is a hea. Love Griz's nickname for Monty, darlin’!

Wow! What a combination of authors... I was expecting lots from this book and they totally delivered!! I loved the 'prequel-ish' book to this series and it just got me hooked for this one. I waited (not always so patiently) for it and it was so worth it. I loved the storyline, it had so much depth and I was completely dragged into, so much that I was hanging on to every word. I really enjoyed both main characters and I loved their chemistry and interactions, you just knew that their romance was going to be GOOD! I really didn't want to put this down and then I reached the end and I was happy and sad, sad it was their story had reached its happy ending but also sad because I wasn't ready to let go of them yet. I cannot wait for more from this series!.
Shaw Hart and Cameron Hart kick of their latest collaboration, Sequoia: Stud Farm, with Branded, a super swoon-worthy and steamy instalove romance. Griz and Monty have electric chemistry from the moment their eyes first meet. Then their meet-cute takes a hilarious turn when she ends up slapping him - only to discover the next day that the job she is interviewing for is with HIM. Griz knows Monty is meant to be his, so he makes her a bet that she will be in love with him by the time her first month of employment is up. Has anyone ever wanted to lose a bet so badly?
A fun, entertaining, swoon-worthy and sexy read, I can't wait to read about the rest of the Ford brothers on the Stud Farm!

*spoilers* Monty is determined to rely on herself as much as possible and not on the rich and very nice brother-in-law. She and her sister had a bad upbringing with a narcissistic father. Monty never was nvolved with a guy, when she goes on a night out with her girls she meets Griz, feeling something special, but because of her bad experience she fights it. The next morning she interviews and becomes Grits housekeeper. There is also a little bet involved. Grit is agood guy who wants to show his woman that he is different. Amazing characters, great story and Grit and Monty melted my heart.

Monty was determined to not rely on a man. So she did as much as possible on her own only relying on her brother-in-law for schooling and a car, which she accepted reluctantly. Her and her sister being brought up by druggie parents and a narcissistic father that’s a bad taste in their mouths so when Griz interrupts Monty’s girls night out with cocky pick up lines she is so turned off. She fights her attraction to Griz tooth and nail because of the bad experiences with cocky men but Griz it’s not like that and he will prove to Monty anyway he can that he’s not like that. He’s not gonna give up when he knows Monty is his future that when she gets a call that will leave her shaken up and doubting everything will he still be there?
Monty had a rough life growing up so when it was time to leave she moved to California to go to school. College is out for the summer and she is looking for.a job so she does not have to go back to stay witb her sister. She ends up getting a job at a local ranch where she places a bet with the sexy boss. Her boss Griff fell in love with her the forst time he saw her at the bar the night before, so when she showed up at his house for a job interview he could not let her get away. What will happen? Great short story with a HEA.

Montana has not had the best upbringing and her sister is very close, but her parents are drug users, combative and rude. Little love lost at home. Meeting Griz in a bar ends in his flirting backfiring, but she discovers that the man she slapped is the person she is hoping to work for. Hired, with a side bet, this couple are well matched. He understands her moods and is genuinely gentle and caring towards her. Not surprisingly they get HEA, loving and content. The book is well written, the characters are likeable and the storyline is sweet and sexy without being crudely offensive. There is a deliberate calm to how the relationship develops.
I have been waiting for Montana's story ever since a very mountain man Christmas with Ledger and Tilly(Monty's sister). I love that we got to revisit them a bit. Monty is looking for a job as she is trying to be independent. Griz is a hot, but somewhat awkward cowboy. He has a socially awkward moment and doesn't give the best impression to Monty. This is unfortunate since one look at her and he knows she's his future. Thank goodness he gets a second chance. It's still a long road from there since Monty has a lot of issues to work through. Definitely recommend! A sweet hea and I can't wait for more from this series!🥰
Griz Ford is the youngest brother of four and if men truly get better with age, we’re in for a treat with the rest of these mis series.
Griz is hot AF and he wrung my heart out with how sweetly he treated Monty, his skittish, sassy love of his life (except for the really bad pick up line at the very beginning, but he will definitely earn your forgiveness for it).
Monty is my perfect kind of heroine. A bit vulnerable but strong in spite of her past circumstances. She is strong AF!
Griz gotta have patience with his girl. He’ll be rewarded with her trust and love.
