I was only supposed to get information from her, a means to an end. Too bad with one look at her, that all changed.
Valentina being at the club rally we hold once a year was like putty in my hands, the way she was willing to let go and have a fun night, was even better for me.
The only kicker is, Valentina has no idea that her past is wrecking my future, she’s caught in the crosshairs, and I’ll do anything I can to protect her even if that means protecting Valentina from her own family.
Tory is back with Bullet’s story and he won’t disapoint in this action packed, Happily Ever After, Alpha Hero story! Although this is the last in the Diamondback MC that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the saga. A second generation is already lurking around the corner.

I started this & then didn’t blink again till I finished it😍
The second I read that Bullet was put on Valentina to see if she new what shady stuff her dad was up to I knew that Bullet was going to fall head over heels for her. In the typical fashion for the men of the Diamondback MC, Bullet (aka Corey) & Valentina had that instant spark and chemistry that was off the charts and they were perfect for each other.
What I was not ready for was the tears this book made me shed. I was full out bawling my eyes out, but also so glad that there were those few weeks full of beautiful memories all the characters got together that. This story hit me full on in the feels, but the tough stuff really made Corey & Valentina’s relationship so much stronger and I loved the direction the story went for their HEA. This was such a good read, and the steamy parts didn’t hurt either.😏🔥

Surveillance and Steam
The Diamondback MC has had a dirty cop and his daughter under their radar for a while now looking to take this cop down. His daughter, Valentina, has just left an abusive relationship and returned to her childhood home to find her father just as abusive. Now out on the night for a good time is where she meets Corey/Bullet a member of the Diamondbacks MC. Little does she know that Corey has had his eye on her.
This book had secrets that tore Valentina’s life apart and she had no idea if Corey was the man she thought she had met prior. All she knew is that this man brought her happiness and fulfillment. Once secrets start coming out will she let Corey help her overcome everything that is happening in her life?

This is the 8th book in the series and for best enjoyment, should be read in order. This is a fast-paced MC read. Valentina has just moved back after getting out of a bad marriage but staying with her father is no better. When she meets Bullet, sparks fly, but is he just using her for what information she may know? Entertaining read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Great characters with lots of emotion and steam. I liked it.

My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.
This is my favorite Diamondback MC book, it does a great job of balancing action, drama, and sexy times.
Valentina had a great childhood that went sour after her mother died, her father, Brian, turned into a monster that verbally abused her constantly. Escaping him as soon as she’s able to she meets and marries a man just like him, starts off sweet but turns verbally and emotional abusive. It takes her a few years but she divorces him and has to go back home. She’s trying to get enough money together to move out of her childhood home, away from her father.
Bullet aka Corey, a Diamondback member, volunteers to get close to Valentina, the club has been having trouble with a crooked cop, Brian, He’s put a bounty on Bullets’s head so the MC bugs his house to get any information and evidence they can to find out what’s going on. What the find is Valentina, Bullet takes one look at her and knows she’s his, he uses a biker rally to get close to her. They start out flirting and end up in bed that night. The next day he brings her back home, her father is waiting for her, he’s been drinking and has his gun out. He says some terrible things that scare her. He tells her he knows where she’s been and she’s a biker whore like her mother, if she continues to see the biker he will kill him. She doesn’t know what he’s talking about in regards to her mother and quickly hides out in her room to get away from him. Wanting to keep Bullet safe she decides to end things with him and move out.
The MC discovers pretty quick she knows nothing of her father’s crooked ways and sees the video surveillance of what happened when Bullet dropped her off. Bullet’s pissed and says they have to get her out of there and he’s backed by Crank one of the old timers. He brings her back to the clubhouse and they settle into daily life. The club Ol’ Ladies love her as does Crank, who calls her Tiny Tina.
Drama when she overhears the MC members talking about the surveillance, her, and her father’s dirty deeds. Feeling betrayed she runs outside where her father and a few of his goons have just arrived, they shot a recruit, don’t feel bad, he let the bad guys in. Her father grabs her and holds a gun to her head. Bullet tries to talk him down and even offers himself as a trade. Her father confesses that he’s not her father, her real father was a biker and he just put up with her because of her mother. And he’s after Bullet because as a detective in his old career he had ruined a deal Brian, a beat cop at the time had with the Irish mob. Shots are fired all the goons and Brian are dead but sadly so is Crank. Valentina is gutted, she had come to love Crank like a father.
It takes a bit of time but Valentina gets back to herself slowly, she waiting for Bullet to apologize and he does nicely. He also takes such good care of her while she’s grieving and deal with so much upheaval in her life.
I’d give the story 10 stars because the story doesn’t neatly tie everything with a bow and end. First pleasant surprise, Crank was her uncle. He regretted not knowing her troubles and helping sooner, he leaves her half of his estate and personal mementos. Also a refreshing change, the couple is in their thirties and don’t want children. So no barely legal girls, no virgins, and no “can’t wait to knock her up” vibes.

OMG!!! WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Bullet/Corey and Valentina met at the Diamondback MC biker rally that's in town. Bullet plans surveillance inside of Valentina's home, he's after her father. Bullet had a bounty put on his head from Valentina's father, Brian. While at the Biker Rally Valentina's friend ditches her and that's when Bullet introduces himself. When Bullet was looking at the surveillance footage he claimed Valentina, so now he wants to get to know her. They walk around the rally and he buys her things, then when they go to eat she pays. After a while of walking around Bullet lets Valentina know he has his camper in the back she tells him they can go there. As soon as they get to Bullet's camper he's pleasuring her then they make love. They fall asleep inside the camper and are woken up the next morning by someone pounding on their window. Valentina is introduced to all the other ol' ladies and a few of Bullet's brothers. Valentina is taken under the wings of the ol' ladies and one of Bullet's brother's an older man named Crank. Valentina looks up to Crank like he's her father, she only can wish. Valentine's father is awful to her since her mother passed. After Bullet takes Valentina home her father has been drinking, he's a cop, so no one will stop him. When he starts yelling at Valentina she goes to her room, when she hears her father leave, she packs her thing to leave. Since Bullet has surveillance inside of Valentine's home, Shovel Wild and Razor Dirty know what's going on, they call him into their large meeting room alone with Crank. When Bullet sees the footage of Valentina's father, Brian he tells his prez he's going to get her. When Bullet gets to Valentina's house he asks her where she's going, she tells him she'll find a hotel to stay the night. Bullet tells her she's staying with him, or she can stay with his sister. Two weeks later, Valentina comes to the clubhouse after an early shift, she talks to Crank for a while then goes to Bullet's room to take a nap. Before she gets to his room she overhears some of Bullet's brother's talking about the surveillance that he's got set up in her home. Valentina doesn't hesitate, she drops her purse and rushes out the door, Crank calls after her and that's when Bullet notices her. When she gets to the door, everyone hears gun shots go off, then all the brothers grab their guns and go outside. When Bullet gets outside he sees Valentina's father has her by gunpoint. Brian asks her if she knows everything about him, then Bullet sees Valentina's eyes close. Valentina finds out that her mother was wild and like to visit motorcycle clubs, and Brian isn't her father. When Bullet notices Crank sneaking around to go behind Brian, he starts talking to him. Bullet tells him he doesn't know what he ever did to him. Brian tells Bullet, eleven years ago he was a beat cop while Bullet was a detective his only job was to not let Bullet get close to the Doyles. Brian's been paying for Bullet taking down their shipment ever since. Bullet asks him the job you took was for the Irish all along. He's been a dirty cop that long, Brian tells Bullet that Valentina means nothing to him, she's not his daughter. Valentina asks who her father is, but Brian tells her that her mom never told him. That's when the brother's take aim at the goons that Brian brought with him, and Crank comes in and unloads his gun into Brian's head, who takes one shot at Crank and hits him in the chest. Valentina rushes to Crank who holds his hand out to Valentina, her other hand is hold his chest where the bullet went. Crank tells Valentina to give Bullet a chance, he needs someone like her. When Doc Filthy reaches Crank, then looks at Bullet, he know the whole MC will never recover. A week later, Valentina doesn't get out of bed, she cries herself to sleep, she can't eat. Bullet is trying to help her, he stays with her. Bullet tells her she needs to take a shower, Crank's funeral is soon. Valentina tells Bullet she can’t breathe, it’s consuming her soul, knowing that this was her fault. Bullet tells her no this isn't her fault, she can blame him or Brian. Bullet asks her to try to eat some soup, then he feeds her. When everyone is ready, Shovel announces and they follow the hearse to the cemetery. A few days later, Bullet needs to go to the lawyers for Crank's last will and testament. While he does that Valentina heads to her parent's home to go through their things. Bullet insists that his mom Jenny and sister Izzy go with her. Bullet calls his sister not being about to get a hold of Valentina. Bullet tells Valentina she is needed back at the clubhouse. When Valentina arrives Bullet tells her to come with him and takes her to his room. Bullet tells her he owes her an apology for what he did. Valentina tells him it's about time, but she's already forgiven him, she tells him he's hard not to love. Every night, every morning, any time she was lost in her own misery, it’s him who’s stood beside her laid with her held her through all of her tears and nightmares, never expecting more of her. Bullet tells her he loves her too, and to stick with him, he'll always be there for her, fix the mistakes he will make. Then head to talk to the attorney and Valentina finds out that Crank was her uncle. Her father's name was Rock and Crank was his brother, but her father, Rock passed away when she was born. Her mom and dad had a fling one summer but her dad had a penchant for other women and drugs. Her mom was in love with her dad until she found that out. Crank didn't want to disrupt Valentina's life when she was younger plus he didn't have a leg to stand on. Valentina's mom asks Crank not to tell anyone who her father was. So Crank contacted the MC attorney to give the story, and give half of his estate, a few mementos and a letter. Six months later, Bullet and Valentina are headed on their honeymoon. They were married four months ago but were waiting for Bullet's mom to go in remission. They talked about it and knew children wasn't for them, but Valentina knows if she changes her mind Bullet will go with it. They are content in their lives, plus they have all their MC family. Three years later, they are back at the biker rally, where it all started. Valentina stepped up in her career, now she's remolding their house. Valentina tells him she loves him more and more each day. Bullet tells her he'll always love her that will never change. Bullet will be there forever for Valentina.

After Valentina's mother died, her father became a real jerk. Valentina quickly moved out and moved to another city. Then she meet a guy who treated her kindly and respectfully. The two married but as time went on her got more and more verbally, emotionally and mentally abusive. She divorced him and tried to make it on her own. However she couldn't support herself and so she arranged to move home to live with her dad again. A co-worker has talked Valentina to go to the rally a local MC is putting on in town. Since her dad was away, Valentina is ready for some fun and possibly a good time. Valentina and her friend go to the rally but her friend ditches her within minutes. Then she is approached by a handsome biker named Bullet. He shows her a fun time and then takes her to his camper for a good time. When he returns her home the next morning, her dad threatens her and Bullet. She is determined to move out as soon as her dad leaves even if she has nowhere else to go. Luckily Bullet catches her packing the car and invites her to stay with him.
Bullet's MC has hidden cameras in Valentina's dad's house. They are very curious into the things he has done and will do. The MC leader wants someone to get close to Valentina and Bullet volunteers. He doesn't want any one close to her except him. The more he talks to Valentina and watches the cameras, the more positive he is that Valentina is neither involved in her dad's stuff nor has a clue what is going on. After he hears her dad threaten them, he is willing to do whatever it takes to keep her safe so he brings her home with him.

It all started on a lie. But was it really.
Survaliance was what brought her to his attention.
A dirty cop's daughter the very cop that put a price on the head of a Diamonback, they don't know why so they put survalliance in the cops house.
Bullet a.k.a Corey was once a cop, he retired at the age of thirty six becuse of all the corruption that surrounded him.
Valentina left her abusive husband after years of emtional abuse, she lived a year trying to make it on her own, but finally comes home to Texas and into the houue of the man she has come to hate. Brian raised her on his own after the passing of her mother.
Corey and Valentina meet at the bike rally that the Diamoback MC is hosting this year in Ely Texas. But it was a planned meeting and after one taste of her lips and time in her presence Corey knows this is so much more than a job to do, he knows he will have to come clean and tell her the truth about their meeting but time runs out and so does the life of one of the Diamondback brothers.

I have loved every single one of the the books in the Diamondback MC series ... and I´m kind of sad that this series got it´s final book... but I have to say that this was a perfect book to end the series with! As with the rest of the books in the series, the characters and story development were amazing.. the story had tons of heat and chemistry, with plenty of drama and suspense thrown in to keep me absolutely invested until the very end. I loved Valentina and Bullet... their story might have started off with a secret, but their chemistry was off-the-charts, and their love for each other was as real as anything could ever be. Poor Valentina, I really felt for her... she was dealt a crappy hand when it came to her family life. Bullet is just the rock that she needs ... his loyalty and his strength were beyond swoon-worthy! Definitely a great story! (if you haven´t read the rest of the books in this series, you don´t necessarily have to read them to love this one ... but seriously, you should!)

This book though part of an ongoing series can be read as a standalone but because it is in the middle of something happening with the MC it can be a bit confusing also there are several references to what has happened in previous books. The book begins with Valentina coming back home from a bad divorce and coming back to Ely, TX to live with her father who is abusive and has some shady business going on. Bullet wants to get back at Valentina's father because he's got a hit out on him. In order to get back at him he wants to use Valentina as a way to get back to Valentina's father. When they both meet at an MC event, Bullet falls instantly for Valentina and as they get to know each other he realizes that she doesn't know anything about what her father has been up to. As their relationship continues, her father finds out that they are together and her life is danger. As deceit begins to unfurl all their secrets come out is it enough to save their love?

This is Corey's and Valentina's story and if you have not read any of the Diamondback MC you should before you read this one. I believe this is the end of the series and it is well written with some steamy action, some fun but with tears too. The MC thinks Valentina might know something about a hit put out on Corey and Corey is tasked to find out if Valentina knows anything about the hit. He meets her and immediately knows she knows nothing about the hit but their chemistry is instant and Corey knows he has to protect her. I was rooting for them throughout the book wanting them to have their happy ending. We do find out who put the hit out on Corey and I hated that one member of the MC had to give their life for this story to be complete but it is really well written steamy and a great ending to the series.

Bullet's story is the perfect story to end this AMAZING series on!! Corey has a hit out on him and he's trying to find out who ordered the hit is it the corrupt cops he used to work with everyday until he retired because the corruption was so bad. Valentina's father Brian is a dirty cop who they have under surveillance so his meeting Valentina is no accident. Bullet needs to find out if she knows anything about the hit on his life he knows as soon as he meets her that she's innocent and that he has to protect her. They had instant chemistry and he knows that he's going to have to tell her the truth about everything. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this exciting story to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this steamy book!

Moving after a divorce aren’t easy to deal with and moving back home sounds like a great solution to get away from it all starting over and then moving in with family may not be the best idea that is the situation Valentina finds herself in, moving back home with her dad who isn’t a nice man after the passing of her mother he changed to turning into a very mean, nasty and boarding hate each time he speaks to her. Bullet sexy as all get out information seeker (yep not official title ) he is supposed to be getting information about her father but ends up wanting more than information he wants her and isn’t afraid to work for it. In fact, she will be his but will she especially after figuring out why he started liking her to begin with, will she allow him time to explain it all and can they happiness?

Valentina has had a rough life. When he mother died she ends up escaping by marrying a man who is emotionally and verbally abusive. She finally leaves him but with only her clothes and a few personal effects she has to move back home. She goes to a club rally and ends up meeting Bullet (Corey). She has no idea that he and the club have been watching her. She ends up leaving her home when her father goes ballistic on her. Corey finds her packing her car. She goes back to the Diamondback MC club to live with Corey. Trouble come in the way of her father, Brian, showing up with some goons to kill Corey and Valentina. There is drama, murder, violence, passion and love. Hate that this is the last book in this series but looking forward to the next series to come along. This is book number 8 of the Diamondback MC series and focuses on Corey (Bullet) and Valentina. Valentina had moved back to town a few months prior after leaving a toxic marriage. She met Corey a couple months after moving back home and fell hard and fast for him. Corey fell for Valentina pretty quickly as well but he was sitting on a pretty big secret that threatens their relationship when it all comes to light. Valentina honestly couldn’t catch a break and my heart broke for her. Thankfully, Corey wasn’t willing to lose his woman and did everything he could to show her he loved her. This was a great story and a great addition to the series!

This book wraps up the Diamondback series and what a ride it was. Valentina and Bullet were a great story to close with. Valentina‘s life has been nothing but low points, but Bullet wants to change all that once he comes into the picture. I loved his character! No matter what he was there for her and that’s what true love really is. Even at her lowest, when who knows how long it had been since she showered, he was still there to support her and cuddle up next to her. I enjoyed all the emotion that came with this story. It balanced well with all the steam that was included. This book was quite the ride and I recommend reading it as well as the other books in this series.

Oh this one was an emotional rollercoaster. Valentina's life isn't a cakewalk. Bullet's eye has been on her for a moment or three. When she walks into the rally, it was like she walked right into his heart. Her father is gunning for him and the club. The plan was set but it all went out the window when she danced with him. Will she understand all that when she finds out the truth? This one had me teary. Valentina deserves to have a man who loves her wholeheartedly and a family by her side. Bullet's devotion was so beautiful. I really, really don't want this series to be over. I have loved every single story so much. I desperately need a second generation of Diamondback, asap! Six stars for Bullet and Valentina!

Valentina has no idea what she has come back to. She left one horrible man and her father is not who she thought he was. This creates issues for Valentina. Bullet notices her immediately. She becomes so much more to him than a job for his club. Valentina has had enough mistreatment by men and now Bullet appears to be a great guy. When things come to light, she hopes that his feelings are true. She needs a man who makes her important. I have enjoyed this series and the different couples.

I loved this book! Bullet and Valentina were awesome together. I loved the connection and the chemistry between these two. Valentina is back home after a failed marriage but she truly does not want to be there. Bullet is trying to figure out who is messing with him now regarding his past but he was not expecting Valentina to come into the picture. I loved the drama, twists and turns, and sweet HEA that this book offered. I can't wait to see what Ms. Tory has in store for us next. I would highly recommend this book, this series, and Ms. Tory as a wonderful author.

Talk about a dysfunctional family. Valentina comes with baggage but even she does not know how much. Bullet is there for her every step of the way. This is a quick story but it packs a punch, many twists and turns and a lot of action in and out of the bedrooms. There is steam and chemistry. Most of the characters are likable and some are not. This kept me on my toes. Fabulous story. I love MC stories and this is packed full of action.

I completely devoured Thick, book 8 in the Diamondback MC Series by Tory Baker. Well written and kept me reading until the last page. Valentina and Bullet had awesome chemistry. After a nasty divorce Valentina moved back to her childhood home to live with her dad. Bullet's plan to watch her as a means to investigate her dad becomes so much more. It becomes clear that Valentina is meant to belong with him but lies and betrayal threaten to rip them apart. And when danger strikes can he keep her safe? Love this entire series.

When she returns home her father who is abusive starts in on her and she decides to move out so Bullet offers her a place to stay with him.
