Amazingly written chapters, but really terrible review questions. The questions are far from what I've seen in real exam dumps, or AWS provided study questions. They are vague. When you're asked to offer a solution, the primary concern is oftentimes not stated clearly in the question. Should I go for the option that rules out latency? Do I have enough budget in this scenario? How high level the solution must be? It is especially annoying when all the options are theoretically correct, but a lousy explanation is provided in the Appendix about why the "correct" option is the best option. Questions are much shorter compared to the actual exam, btw, so it's clear why most details are being left out.
Surprising, because as stated earlier, the authors are really great when it comes to explaining the services / concepts within the chapters.

Awesome book
I bought this as a second book and it's much nicer. I think if I memorize it all, it should be enough to pass an exam. Of course YouTube is a must haha. Fingers X ed you guys!

The book was very insightful on the topics of MLS-C01 exam. However, compared to video courses prepares specifically for MLS-C01, there is not much about actual machine learning theory. I recommend the book from Packt: AWS Machine Learning Specialty Certification Guide, it has much more ML theory. The Study Guide position has better overview of managed AWS ML services though.
