Zack and his zombie chasing pals take to the high seas to find a cure for the rezombified nation in Zombies of the Caribbean, the sixth book in John Kloepfer’s wildly popular, super gross-out Zombie Chasers series.
Zack Clarke and his team—Zoe, Rice, Ozzie, Madison, and Olivia—have fled the infested coasts of Florida, chased by a ravenous mob of super zombies. There’s only one person who can help them: an oddball explorer who knows the key to the antidote...but who has escaped to a zombie-proof bunker somewhere in the Caribbean! As the pals fend off decomposing pirates, crusty crewmates, and putrid sea creatures, they race to uncover the antidote. But will they be able to defeat the zombies of the Caribbean before the cure and their plan go overboard?
The complete undead package, Zombies of the Caribbean features John Kloepfer’s signature blend of gleefully gross descriptions; short, high-action chapters; sidesplitting middle grade shenanigans; and even more slime-oozing zombies—plus black-and-white illustrations throughout from the uproarious David DeGrand. Tween zombie fans won’t want to miss this or the next stomach-churning story!
A fun read that my son enjoyed. This book was not as strong as others in the series. There seemed to be too many twists and turns without an end in sight. I still love this series!!
Zombie chasers by john kloepfer best zombie book. The book was about rice and his friends go to the caribbean and try to save florida from zombies so they get a zombie expert nigel to help them make an antidote. I kinda enjoyed reading it because how they got the antidote was very interesting . I recommend this book to zombie fans.
My Review: The Zombie Chasers must travel from Florida by boat to the Caribbean to look for a new antidote for the super zombie virus now spreading through Florida. But only one man can help them.
So they journey to find Nigel Black but their journey wasn't smooth sailing as they were attacked by super zombie pirate ship. The kids threw all manner of debris at the super zombies but the super zombie pirates just kept moving toward them, and the kids were running out of stuff to throw. They had to leave the cruise ship by boat and drifted away from the pirate ship.
They must look for the renowned zombie expect Nigel Black to make a new antidote. After finding him, he instructed them to find a frilled tiger shark and bring it back to him so he can work on an antidote to help cure the so-called supper zombies. Will the kids return back with a tiger shark or will they be shark food?
The author did a great job writing this book making it fun and an interesting read for kids. The cartoon Illustrations by David DeGrand helped tell the story.

He will travel around the world to try and figure out how to stop the zombie apocalypse. He meets a lot of friends along the way and will eventually find the cure.
