For the most part this book was just okay. I'm actually surprised that I kinda liked it since that type of forced proximity (isolated together) hasn't worked for me in the past.

At first I didn't like the h much because she was a bit annoying and she had all those first world problems. I can't say she grew on me but, at least, I didn't hate her in the end.

What I liked the most about it is that the hero is an amputee. It's the first book I've read with a character being an amputee and it was interesting to see how he deals with it.

All in all, the plot wasn't that special and it could definitely be more well developed and the MCs were okay. It could be better but it wasn't bad. 3 ⭐

The End of Us was without a doubt my favorite book in the Love in Isolation Series. I was really intrigued about Piper and Tristan's age gap, forced proximity romance and I couldn't have asked for more from these two. I truly loved every minute of my read filled with humor, emotion and sexy times.

Piper was a highly entertaining heroine with all her sassiness and flirty repartees. I enjoyed how she was always ready to make her sexy and older bodyguard fall for her. Tristan was such a protective man in his job, but also as a partner. He was the whole package of swoon worthy hero. And his dirty mouth...oh la la!

As much as there was light and funny moments between them, their connection was so much more than only physical. They learned to see under the surface. I enjoyed that we clearly saw Piper was more than the cliché socialite "princess" and Tristan was dealing with trauma from his past as a military man.

I highly recommend The End of Us and the next novel in the series has me really excited.

Piper is constantly in the public eye as a social media influencer, but with that comes a stalker. Tristan is hired to be Piper’s bodyguard, he is with her constantly and watching over her. In the time they have spent together Piper and Tristan didn’t talk much, they don’t really know a whole lot about each other. However, when Piper’s life may be in danger they are forced to spend time together in isolation.

I LOVED Tristan! As the story continued and more of his backstory was told it was impossible not to completely love the guy. He is dealing with some very real issues. While he does struggle at times, he doesn’t let it completely rule his life. Piper originally comes across has kind of the spoiled princess, but as the story continues the real Piper comes out and she is actually pretty down to earth and also very helpful and giving.

The TENSION. The CHEMISTRY. The BANTER. I couldn’t get enough of it. You can feel the chemistry sizzling between Piper and Tristan from the start and once they finally give into the connection they have it is like the fourth of July. I love what they bring out in each other and they support they both give to each other.

If you’re looking for a forced proximity, age gap with a little suspense mixed in this is one to read.

The Love in Isolation series was a sign of the times- hard to believe we’re still in those times, but fortunately, I’m still loving this series. I was excited to dig into Piper and Tristan’s story after we met them in The Best of Us, and KF was delivering up two of my favorite tropes- a protector/bodyguard and a meaty age gap. And, I really enjoyed it.

Piper, our heroine, is a privileged heiress to a large fortune who spends her time as a social media influencer, but her public lifestyle puts her at risk when she finds herself the target of an overzealous fan turned stalker. Fortunately she has a hypervigilant, stoic and super sexy bodyguard in Tristan to keep her safe. But after her stalker targets her at her sister’s wedding, Tristan decides to take his caution to the next level, sweeping Piper away to a family beach vacation house to hide away. Cue all that steamy, tense forced proximity!

Tristan is so dreamy- the type of swoony, protective, loyal hero that I’ve come to expect from Kennedy Fox. I loved the substance of his story and depth of his character- he’s so easy to fall in love with, and I admired and swooned for him in equal measure. Piper, though, took a minute for me to warm up to- in part because even though she’s in danger, she’s quite bratty about Tristan trying to do his job to HELP and protect her. Though, I think KF does a nice job of evolving her- and since there’s an age gap, I can also chalk it up to her immaturity. I did love her sass- and I loved their chemistry. I did like finding out the different layers of them, more than the facade others see, and their romance was super sweet. Another great addition to the series!

4.5⭐️ Absolutely amazing! I have been waiting for the next book in this series after the last one and it was worth it!

I absolutely loved Tristan and Piper! I loved their fast-paced storyline, totally captivating with the stalker situation. I loved both of their characters. Especially Tristan and his backstory. They have such hot chemistry that you can just feel it, it was believable. I loved their banter especially now that they're together 24 hours. It was an all-around entertaining read. I loved the representation in this book. I was so intrigued by it. I definitely enjoyed their story.

A beautifully written book by Kennedy Fox. It has been refreshing to read a book with inclusivity that not many authors have written about (I don't want to spoil too much!).

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and read it all in one sitting. I particularly liked the glimpses that you get of Kendall and Ryan from 'The Best Of Us'.

I've really enjoyed all the books in the 'Love in Isolation' series and the fact that all the characters interconnect in one way or another makes it so good. The next book has been setup perfectly and I've enjoyed getting to know Tristans brother a little bit in this story.

If you love a book with a little bit of suspense, spiciness and a happy ever after, give this one a read!

I had high hopes for this, but honestly, the writing style just isn’t for me. It felt very cold and matter of fact. No emotion. I also didn’t feel any chemistry between the H/h and their behavior came off as a little cringy and not at all believable.

5 Star Review The End Of Us (Love in Isolation #3) by Kennedy Fox
AUDIO REVIEW:

I really enjoyed this story from Kennedy Fox. The narration by Andi Arndt and Sebastian York really brought this story to life for me. They were both well suited to the characters and were so easy to listen to.

When Piper finds she has a stalker, it is up to brooding alpha bodyguard Tristan to do everything in his power to protect her. Forced to hold up and hide from the stalker, Piper and Tristan are thrust together.

Piper is determined to break down the walls that Tristan has surrounded himself with. They are drawn together not only by circumstances but an attraction that becomes too hard to ignore. As lines are blurred and subsequently crossed, complications arise.

I really enjoyed the push and pull dynamic of their relationship? It was also entertaining to see the growth of Piper as the story progressed. But what happens when the danger is resolved? Will they go their separate ways or take a chance on the happiness they deserve?

Piper is a stuck-up rich b*tch with a stalker problem. Hot, ex-military bodyguard, Tristan, was hired to keep her safe. When Piper’s stalker shows up at her sister’s wedding, Piper and Tristan have to head for the hills (or beach, as it were) to keep her safe.

Piper grew on me (and Tristan, apparently!) after the first few chapters. I think we can all relate to these two as they’re holed up at home with minimal contact with the outside world (hello, COVID quarantine; thankfully we have internet!).

As the days pass, Piper and Tristan get closer and closer; they learn not only to enjoy each other’s company, but each other’s bodies. There are some 🔥 scenes between these two. The authors did a great job building that fire.

This may very well be my absolute favorite of the Love in Isolation series! Tristan and Piper seem like polar opposites with a deliciously large age gap, but when it comes down to it, they connect on a level that has nothing to do with age or class. This incredibly steamy book will have you dying for more, begging for just one more chapter of these two! They face obstacles you'll never see coming, and they are stronger together because of it. What a wonderful story of love, perseverance, dedication, and protection!

Piper is an online star who has a stalker threatening her which causes her parents to hire her a bodyguard. Tristan is determined to keep Piper safe so when security is breached he acts quickly to get her to safety. Hidden away at his family's beach house they come to rely on each other in more ways than one. Fun, steamy and sweet.

I feel like I have been waiting forever for the next book in the “Love in Isolation” series and it did not disappoint! I loved the angsty tension between Piper and Tristan, it was absolutely delicious.

Piper is a popular online influencer. She’s loved by millions but with that popularity, there are some that love her too much. When her stalker becomes obsessed with her and attempts to kidnap her, her bodyguard Tristan, takes her away to hide in isolation until he can be found.

The tension and suspense was turned up for this book and I could not put it down until I finished the story. We had gotten a little glimpse of Piper and Tristan in “The Best of Us” and I knew their story was going to be good. Having an age gap in a romance is one of my favorite tropes and I loved their 16 year age gap, it was a perfect addition to their relationship and added so much to it. Tristan has moved up to be one of my favorite men in the Kennedy Fox world. His past broke my heart but in the end made him stronger. Piper is the balance and support he needed in his life. Both found that someone who will always cheer you on and support you through the tough times. Their relationship is goal status for any couple out there.

Kennedy Fox is so good at writing swoony, protective men and equally awesome and strong women. I cannot wait to relive this story in audiobook when it comes out.

We also get a sneak peek for the next book, “The Heart of Us” which has Tristan’s brother, Easton. He was a fun secondary character in this book and I can’t wait to read his story next. Another age gap but the woman is older!

Andi Arndt and Sebastian York were absolutely amazing as Piper and Tristan. Both are so good at bringing all the emotions when they narrate. I love when they co-narrate together, you’re guaranteed an amazing book.

I received an Arc of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I am new to this series, jumping right in with book 3. I don’t find this to be a problem as although some characters are featured that have probably been mentioned in the earlier books, this story was mainly about Piper and Tristan.

Piper, a 21 year old spoiled heiress with her own popular social influencing set up is faced with a stalker who is threatening her. Bodyguard Tristan, 16 years her senior from a military background removes her from danger and takes her to his family beach house.

The beach house is not to Pipers usual standards plus she can’t access the internet! Her materialistic ways and sense of entitlement grated on me quite a lot in the beginning. Tristan didn’t seem to like that part of her personality either, calling her out on being fake and putting on an act being happy and positive in her posts and vlogs while moaning about everything off the camera.

Tristan is cold and standoffish at first and quite grumpy and although I knew the 2 of them would get together, I just didn’t understand how this was going to happen! It must be true about opposites attracting - or being confined to a small space with nothing else to do.

Piper does start to get better through the time spent at the beach house and at the same time Tristan starts to become less cold and they start to build a relationship. After a few attempts at seduction from Piper, Tristan can’t control his feelings anymore leading to some

This book does have a HEA and was an enjoyable read featuring age gap, virgin and disabilities which I thought was done quite well. I look forward to the next in the series.

I was smitten and completely charmed by this couple as I fell into this forbidden love story.

The End of Us speed by as I turned page after page. I will admit, at first,  I wondered how a spoiled brat heiress could charm a toughened, trained bodyguard, but as the pages flew by I was enraptured by this duo.

Piper is a billionaire heiress, but also an influencer all on her own rights. When a stalker threatens her life she is taken to an undisclosed location along with bodyguard and unplugs from all social media, isolating the two of them from the outside world.

The time in isolation is the perfect opportunity for Piper to unplug from her public persona, become more of herself than she has in, probably forever, and really get to know the man who has been guarding her closely for months. Her older, sexy-as-sin, bodyguard, Tristan.

Tristan likes the real woman vs. the fake social persona Piper portrays for her fans and the more time they spend in isolation the more he enjoys spending time with her, but he shouldn't cross boundaries with her. Not only is her employed by her father, but he's older and jaded by his experiences. Piper is a shiny beacon he shouldn't want, but the more time he spends with her it gets harder to stay away.

The heart of this story blew me away and knowing how personal it was to the authors pulled all my heartstrings. The End of Us is a total joy to read. Full of heart, steam, and a bit of suspense.

LOOOOOOOVE Tristan and Piper!!! We got a glimpse of them in her sister Kendall's book, "The Best of Us" so I knew it was gonna be good.

Piper is a social media influencer with over 2 million followers. Her parents hire Tristan as her bodyguard after she got some threats. Tristan is reserved, quiet and almost grump like towards Piper. After a crazed stalker threatens her life Tristan takes her to a safe house on the beach. Long days together with no escaping each other offers them a chance to open up to each other and finally give into the desire they both have been fighting.

Tristan's backstory broke my heart but I am happy that KF put in a hero that is not your typical hero, it made me love his character even more. Now I'm not saying hes gonna dethrown Travis Mother F&*$ing King, but he is up there!!!! Piper is sassy and ultra spoiled but i enjoyed watching her strip off the "Influencer" persona and be her true self with Tristan. Oh and don't even get me started on the chemistry between these two....OFF THE CHARTS!!!!!

We get a good dose of Easton in the story and I can't wait for his story next.

Piper is a big social media influencer and with her large following has come some issues. This had her dad hire a body guard for her, so when a stalker find her she must go into hiding. Tristan her body guard takes her to safety but it’s not the life of luxury that Piper grew up with.

Neither Piper or Tristan have really taken time to get to know each other but being in hiding allows them to learn things about each other. Tristan has things he’s hidden and Piper is realizing how much she takes for granted because of how she was raised. Piper is determined to break Tristan’s resolve but when they finally cross the line the threats become even more real.

I loved getting to know Tristan and learn about his backstory. But I loved seeing Pipers growth through out this story. With a little mystery and forced proximity anything can happen.

Piper and Tristian are a great couple, there is a huge age gap though! You get ALL the steamy scenes in this book too...

I was not sure if I was going to like Piper... But I loved her by the end of this book.
Tristian is the man you want around all the time and he is very loyal. He will protect Piper at all costs.

Great story with likable characters. Plus you get the banter and drama too...

Tristan and Piper. Swoooonnnnnn….

I like so much about this book!

I love the consistency and unapologetic way they stay true to Piper’s character while giving her depth.

I love that Kennedy Fox can still surprise me. And not did they ever with Tristan’s story!

Tristian is hot, like not just cause he's good looking. But he's alpha, bossy, protective but with a gooey center that you just wouldn't expect from a disabled veteran. He had his issues, as you would expect, as a disabled veteran, PTSD being one major issue he is battling. This hits a little close home for me, my Dad battled PTSD my whole life until he lost his battle to cancer in '13, and my husband has been battling it since he came home from Iraq the 1st time in '04. I absolutely love how these two amazing authors brought such a real issue in, without it dominating the story and made the H comfortable enough with the h as their relationship grew so that he could talk about it. There are other issues brought in as well that I don't want to spoil but they went about it all with such finesse that even though its a part of the story, it doesn't drag it down.

Piper is what you would expect from a rich little girl, spoiled, a bit vain, a bit shallow but you can see her grow throughout the book until she becomes the person she thought she always was. I really loved how they used her character to not only help grow her own self through the book, but to help the H battle his own demons and be the support that he needed. I feel like this really was a coming of age/love story as both characters really grew into their own and of course the chemistry between the two comes is felt nearly from the beginning, if you know how to read between the lines.

Also, one last huge THANK YOU to the authors for their words a the end, speaking off the 22 a day. I know Romancelandia is becoming more mainstream and has a much wider audience then it used to and to see 2 well know, loved authors bring up such an important non-Romancelandia issue that is plaguing our Vets really truly brought tears to my eyes, so THANK YOU!!

The End of Us is Book 3 in the Love in Isolation Series by Kennedy Fox narrated by Sebastian York and Andi Ardnt.

Piper Montgomery is a 21 year old blogger/social media influencer that was born into Manhattan royalty. When Piper finds herself the object of a stalker’s obsession, her father hires a bodyguard to keep Piper safe. Enter Piper’s new bodyguard, Tristan Belvedere, former military turned private security and 16 years Piper’s senior.

When Piper’s stalker escalates to an attack, Tristan and Piper go off grid until he’s caught. While Piper has always been intrigued by her quiet, brooding bodyguard, Tristan’s impression of Piper was less than favorable. He had seen Piper as a spoiled princess—that is until their forced proximity allows him to see beneath the Piper Montgomery persona she puts on for the world.

The more time these two spend together
the harder it becomes for Tristan to resist the pull between them but Piper is determined to get Tristan to open up. Once they cross that line these two have so much to overcome to make their relationship work—a 16 year age gap, Tristan being employed by Piper’s father, and not to mention a crazy stalker on the loose determined to make Piper his.

There’s so much more to the two of them than meets the eye. I absolutely loved this pair and seeing them evolve and grow not only as a couple but as individuals as well. They are the classic definition of opposites attract— a pair you wouldn’t think goes together but somehow they just fit. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and they bring out the best in one another.

I knew going in that I was going to love this book because it’s all of my favorite tropes rolled up in one (forbidden, age gap, forced proximity) but y’all Tristan and Piper’s story is so well written—full of banter, emotion, and suspense. The End of Us is the best of KF.

Of course, you can NEVER go wrong with a narrator duo like Sebastian York and Andi Ardnt. They nailed Piper and Tristan and brought these characters to life!

I will note this was the first book that I’ve read/listened to in this series and I didn’t feel like I was missing anything not having read/listened to the previous books. I will, however, be going back to listen to them now!

It’s seriously been so long since I’ve read a Kennedy Fox book and I am kicking myself for that! Reading The End of Us.. which I read in one sitting mind you, really brought me back to why I love this duo of authors’ writing style.

I absolutely love the build up of the romance between two people who you’d otherwise wouldn’t have matched up unless they’d be forced into isolation together. Now.. being stuck somewhere due to the weather over quarantine, was a twist on this forced into isolation romance that Lyra and Brooke came up with. And I gotta say, I did love the weather twist just a bit more than quarantine and I cannot wait to see where they take the rest of this series.

Tristán and Piper were such a delight to read & it was such a quick read that I so easily fell in love with it. The age gap trope may just be one of my favorite’s and to see Tristan and Piper go from the will they won’t they until they finally give in to the inevitable chemistry was just the best. Now, it wouldn’t be a KF book without a little bit of drama and the stalker addition had me biting my nails right through the very end!

I've been hanging for another release from the Love in Isolation series, so I was absolutely thrilled to start reading.
Piper and Tristan's story became one of my favourites as I unveiled more and more of their personalities and quirks.
The forced proximity trope felt much different than what it did in the first two books in this series, where they weren't forced in by weather but by Piper's crazy stalker.
Speaking of the stalker, I do admit I went into the book with reservations regarding this trope as I've read a lot of books with this trope before and I was worried it would be predictable and boring. BOY WAS I WRONG!
Everything I thought would happen didn't and everything that I didn't even consider was actually what happened. It felt fresh and new, but what I appreciated the most is that it didn't completely take over the love story.
Another epic read by Kennedy Fox !

A fun and sassy read. Piper is a product of how she was raised - a 21 year old billionaire heiress who has a YouTube channel with millions of subscribers. She has a stalker who tries to grab her at her sister’s wedding reception, to keep her safe she is whisked away by her bodyguard, Tristan, to his family’s beach house. These two are complete opposites who are in close confines as they stay off grid to keep her location a secret while the authorities try to find and arrest her stalker.

The forced isolation and cohabitation brings these two closer together as they learn more about each other. The attraction builds until Tristan can’t resist his beautiful protected any longer.

Tristan is awesome how he doesn’t let Piper get away with a cranky attitude about her rough conditions. He slowly shares some of his past with Piper and she is surprised with what she learns.

I received an ARC from the authors and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
