When Carolina’s best friend, Kathi, suggested she go out and find herself a man to celebrate with for the weekend in recognition of her multimillion-dollar property sale, she quickly glanced around the office to make sure no one else heard her! Kathi invited her to a hot nightclub and promised to hook her up, but that club was definitely not her kind of place!

She did make it to a bar, by herself, and got half-way drunk without enticing anyone over. She spun on the barstool and watched a handsome, confident man come through the door. He was so out of her league, so she spun back around rather than lust for what she could never have. Then a deep Russian-accented voice asked why the beautiful woman was drinking alone? Then Rurik led her back to his room. When his roommate, Jeff, comes out of the bathroom, freshly showered, her poor self-image about keeping a man’s interest was no longer an issue!

This was a short but wild story with likable characters. I won’t even hint at the ending, but it’s so good, you won’t believe it!

Scoring the biggest sale of her career should have made Carolina happiest in her life but she is stuck in a rut. Her coworker Kathi convinces her to let loose and hit the town, find a man for the night and get some! Unwilling to spend another night at home with her plants, Carolina finds herself at a swanky bar aiming to find the perfect someone to take the edge off.

In walks a tall handsome man who piques her interest immediately but Carolina’s confidence in herself has been cut down from her past partners. She is shocked when the handsome man with a Russian accent introduces himself as Rurik. Not willing to let the ‘puck’ pass her by, Carolina suggests Rurik take her back to his place.

Having a one-night stand is completely out of character for Carolina but when offered the opportunity to have Jeff (Rurik’s roommate and also team-mate) participate, Carolina’s one night stand quickly turns into a two-stud night.

This was a quick, easy and enjoyable read. I definitely will recommend it to romance lovers!

Everyone loves a hockey player, especially one with an accent, a Russian accent. Caroline is out celebrating her sale. She started out with her friend Kathi but left her and went to another bar. She see a man walk in, but never thought he would come over to her. He did and he takes her upstair and while there his roommate Jeff comes out of the shower. As they say the rest is history. This is a great book with great characters. I thought it was well written. It was full of action and I really enjoyed the characters the witty dialogue. This is a quick read but I do not think you will be disappointed.

“Why does beautiful American woman waste time drinking alone in crowded bar?”

This is a quick 1hr read that involves a sex deprived FMC looking to celebrate a big commission check from her job, a Russian with broken English hockey player, and a take charge roommate hockey player. It wasn’t bad, it was just too wordy and descriptive at times. Honestly, if this was any longer I might have DNF. The sex scene was disrupted by the amount of words used. Idk just didn’t hit me in my area. If you want a quick book, try it out. Who knows you might like it.

Loved the story line and the characters. Great sports romance. You can connect with the. characters description. If you like heat this has it. I wished that we had more of a story line and more about the characters. There's a next book so maybe it will answer these questions. I think if the author had added more details I would have gave it a 5 star rating and wanted to read lots more of her books. I'm still thinking of checking out this author because I'm sure she will only get better.

A very short and sexy story! There was so much chemistry between Rurik and Carolina, but add in Jeff and it totally ratchets up the spark factor and is enough to melty your panties off! This short story was entertaining, enjoyable and so steamy hot!

Its hard for me to say this was book 1 because it is so short and it reads more like a Prologue or Prequel. Now that that is out of the way I loved it. As a hockey fan I can so picture it. From start to finish it was great and I wanted more.. I guess I will have to get the other books to see what will happen next. great great read for hockey fans

It's OK for what it is, especially since I picked this up during one of the Stuff Your Kindle days. It's straight up raunchy without a lot of stuff going on, but I wouldn't classify the writing as amazing even for the smutty scenes. It's got potential to shine up nicely to something decent, but it will want more editing to get into shape. Alright for a quick read though.
